MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY 2010

Memorial Day
Thank You

Good morning everyone! Good morning ME!
Ready for more information on Memorial day?
REady or not... here ya go!

Washington DC will have sounded like the thunder beings having a celebration yesterday. Rolling Thunder and thousands upon thousands will have stopped, have STOMPED, will have prayed and remembered the fallen, the missing..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAs4zNQceas&feature=related

And then they will have remembered that life is to live and to embrace each other in the moment, and the moment is NOW...
Let us treat each moment just like it is our last...
cos' it all goes by so so fast ~

Did ya know that to help re-educate and remind Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day, the "National Moment of Remembrance" resolution was passed on Dec 2000 which asks that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans "To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps."

The Moment of Remembrance may just be a step in the right direction in returning the meaning back to the day. .
Those are our real heroes, those men and women who have served our Nation; who have stepped out of their comfort zone, out of their everyday lives, their families and taken an oath to defend and protect our country.

Now there are many who say that what  may be needed to return the solemn, and even sacred, spirit back to Memorial Day is for a return to its traditional day of observance.
They are the ones who feel that when Congress made the day into a three-day weekend in with the National Holiday Act of 1971, it made it all the easier for people to be distracted from the spirit and meaning of the day. Not sure I agree with that, particularly given that folks have to drive so far to get to each other; drive so far to get to DC and drive so far for Rolling Thunder to Roll in from across the country. . . did I mention drive so far???

On January 19, 1999 Senator Inouye introduced a bill which proposes to restore the traditional day of observance of Memorial Day back to May 30th instead of "the last Monday in May". On April 19, 1999 Representative Gibbons introduced the bill to the House (H.R. 1474). The bills were referred the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on Government Reform.

Most of the events of Memorial day have taken place yesterday... most have been televised or can now be seen on youtube...
today folks are returning home... putting away the folding chairs, the grills and the extra stuff they had to have out for company. Boats are being cleaned from the outings of the week-end; sunburns are being tended too. Memories are being shared by pictures, phone calls, hopefully many got to speak to their loved ones fighting over seas and around the land...

And at Arlington Cemetery and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial... I would venture a guess that the cars are backed up with people trying to get in, trying to find a parking place (uh good luck with that one)... with people walking those sacred grounds, with flags flying at each cross, with notes at the wall...
Visits being made, prayers of missing and of gratitude across the vast and beautiful and most sacred grounds of honoring today.
Pictures being taken for scrapbooks, facebook, twitter and such...
And the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqZ-mkdp1H0&feature=related

... yes, rain, shine, sleet, snow... it will be protected by the Nations' finest. They will walk in perfection 24/7 and people will sit and watch; some lost in thought, some in awe, but many in deep gratitude of hearts full of pride to live in a country free because of the brave.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lMzZNIw9KY&feature=related

Blessings to you and yours today and always.
The fire is burning and its embers are hot ...
Thoughts on the wind to all who you have seen mentioned here....
and to our Fallen Hero's as we remember them.

Blessings to Rolling Thunder..... may you continue to Roll ~

WE WILL NEVER FORGET....

 ~ ROLLING THUNDER ~ STOMP
D.C. ROLLING TODAY
 I AM SURE
AS WE REMEMBER
Today it will sound as if the Thunder Being are drumming... It will be electric in Washington DC... And Rolling Thunder will ROLL in... On Motorcycles; in procession ... they actually arrived yesterday I'm thinking, meeting up at the Pentagon if memory serves me right!
Rolling Thunder...
Mom says she saw some of them in Southwest Virginia headed North on Thursday; a sight to behold, shiny Harleys/bikes, proud, American Flags, POW/MIA flags off the back of bikes/Harleys and headed North to DC for their annual ride to the Vietnam Veterans Wall and later to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the wreath laying.
Rolling THunder... they visited my little friend Walter, in Heaing Heartaches! I love me some Rolling Thunder!
Rolling Thunder members are old and young, men and women, veterans and non-veterans. All are united in the cause to bring full accountability for POWs and MIAs of all wars, they are "guardians" and often remind the world, the public and the government, the media  “We Will Not Forget.”
By Memorial Day weekend in 1988, approximately 2,500 motorcycles from all over the country converged on Washington, D.C. to demand from our leaders a full accounting of all POW/MIA's. As they made their stand that day in front of the Capitol, Artie and Ray (the founders of Rolling Thunder) reflected thankfully to the people who came in support of the POW's and MIA's, and for the unity that was felt.
This was Rolling Thunder's first gathering.
Only until ALL POW/MIA's ARE ACCOUNTED FOR, it will not be their last.
On that day, the foundation was laid for the annual "Ride for Freedom" to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall (also referred to as the "Ride to the Wall").
The number of participants/spectators in the Memorial Day weekend Ride for Freedom has grown from 2,500 to an estimated 900,000 ~
Rolling THunder ~ be sure to wave when you see em on the road this week-end ~
Most are vets, many are family of VETS, all are with good hearts . . .
They made a young boy named Walter, live until dying his dream come true riding a Harley and a day spectacular...
"We Will Remember Walter"
I remember with loving fondness my ride in Rolling THunder Memorial Day... {{{sigh}}}.

HAVE A BLESSED AND GREAT DAY TODAY.
I WISH YOU ALL THAT YOU DARE TO DREAM,
MAY YOUR DAY BE FILLED WITH GRATITUDE
GREAT FRIENDS
WONDERFUL TIMES
A FLAG THAT FLIES IN THE GENTLE BREEZES
FUN TIMES
HAMBURGERS AND HOT DOGS AND CHICKEN WINGS ON THE GRILL
MUSIC BLARING
DANCING ON BOATS

Memorial Week End

Memorial Day
A Time of Remembering

This picture is one of my favorites... one that I took in DC a long time ago, fitting for this week-end I thought.

We are so very blessed.
Waking up to this morning; coffee hot; hot shower after a good nights sleep in my bed, covers over my head, safe in my sanctuary I call home.
How bout you?
Rest well last night?
Any complaints this morning?
Any petty disagreements with loved ones; strangers in rush hour; on facebook; on the phone?

Guess that those fighting for our freedoms and living on the ground with no shower, no covers, no hot coffee, no letters from home or Internet access, no arms around them, no one to have "family squabbles" with
think
it really "sucks to be you" huh?

It's morning, He/She is getting ready to do it again... raise that magnificent sun for us... to give us those blessed 24 hours and the ability to choose how to spend them . . . folks are on the roads, headed to visit loved ones, visit the beaches, the mountains, some even headed to Ely MN in hopes of seeing the North American Black Bears! But from what I've been reading; one only has to go to Myrtle Beach or Asheville NC and drive around and see a Black Bear or two... Just look UP... check out the trees... those cubs may be anywhere we are... just don't panic!

The sales papers and ads on TV are abundant and have been all week... All talking about "Memorial Day"...
SALES that is.  You can now buy mattresses, cars, T.V.'s, flip flops, bathing suits, food
(hot dogs are a big one), and heaven knows what...
BUT
so far I haven't seen one ad that says
"Thank you for your service" to all the men and women who have given their lives defending our country.

I have ... however seen far too many political ads condemning our President of the United States for a joke that was made at a roast in DC... a night of some kind of party/gala or something... a remark that has probably been taken out of context and has been repeated more times than anyone would want to hear.
I have seen the once again "I am this, and he is that" ads of "why you should elect me".
I've seen and heard far too many with a "better idea" alot of moaning, complaining and "bit**ing" about what is wrong, feeding with negative energy what are already scary times in our country... I'm just thinking here... "exactly how is that helping?"

I would like to see:
A story of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and footage of the ones that walk that walk... As a child we went there a lot and just sat and watched them. As an adult I could still go there and sit for hours, watching with tears in my eyes, honoring those who have bravely given their lives for our freedom of our country... those who walk that walk 24/7 in front of that Tomb of the Unknown.
I would like to see:
The American Flag flying on every street on every corner on every business and home.
I would like to smell charcoal grills in every neighborhood.
I would like to hear:
the sounds of music and raucous laughter from every corner of the world irregardless of circumstance just for a moment in time during the weekend while honoring the fallen, while stepping outside of self and contributing to the greater good and the energy of the world...
I would like to know:
that we will take a stand for the fallen
and rise up to living.

YES
I am proud to be an American,
I fly the flag and stand for our colors...
These colors don't run.
YES
I want our President to lay the traditional wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day;
not anyone else, not any place else.
YES
I thank the men and women who have died for our country and their families;
I thank the men and women who have served our Nation;
and
I pray for and support the women and men who are serving to protect the United States of America

I love our country . . .
and this Memorial Day week-end, starting this morning I will light a candle for our men and women;
those who have served,
 those who have died
 and
those who are serving.
If you would like... I welcome you to join me...

Now for a bit of humor... Sandy and Steward next door, my worldly travellers... As Stewart was "trimming" my front lawn (thought it needed it he said), we chatted a moment:
Stewart: "The wife said I need to get a new flag for Memorial day, and I told her... I'll just Steal Sherry's again... after all no one is tall enough to take it from this Oak tree but me!"
Remember last year I shared my thoughts about the rat fink who stole my flag??? We laughed saying it had to of been Stewart cos' he is the only one tall enough to reach it! So he remembered, and they needed a new flag... hahahaha
ME:  Aw, go on and take it, I have the base wrapped in barb wire, but don't worry you are tough, and after all you will be the one that has to put the new one up!

OK
maybe that wasn't so funny, but I thought it was!

Just so you know; Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. There are so many stories as to its actual beginnings, with over two dozen cities and towns laying claim to being the birthplace of Memorial Day.
There is also evidence that organized women's groups in the South were decorating graves before the end of the Civil War .;. one more "high five" for women!!!
Are ya feelin me???

Traditional observance of Memorial day has diminished over the years.
Many Americans nowadays have forgotten the meaning and traditions of Memorial Day.
At many cemeteries, the graves of the fallen are increasingly ignored, neglected.
Most people no longer remember the proper flag etiquette for the day.
While there are towns and cities that still hold Memorial Day parades, many have not held a parade in decades.
Some people think the day is for honoring any and all dead, and not just those fallen in service to our country.

There are a few notable exceptions.
Since the late 50's on the Thursday before Memorial Day, the 1,200 soldiers of the 3d U.S. Infantry place small American flags at each of the more than 260,000 gravestones at Arlington National Cemetery.
They then patrol 24 hours a day during the weekend to ensure that each flag remains standing.

So there ya go... some thoughts, some facts to go with your coffee as you prepare to hit the stores for the dogs, buns, and trimmings and prepare for the celebrations of the week-end...

Wherever you are, and whatever you are doing...
Remember to take a few minutes to honor and remember...
STAND UP, BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE, CELEBRATE YOU AND YOUR FREEDOM TODAY ~

Thank a vet, a soldier, thank the Universal Oneness!

The fire is burning, its embers are hot... the prayer bowl is surrounded by the smells of sage, cedar and sweetgrass as thoughts and prayers are being sent on the winds to all Sending thoughts on the wind and HOPE in healing ways to those who have asked, those who are struggling along the path, those who are Warriors:

A man named Brian has died after his long battle with Cancer yesterday... He was the person who was brilliant in many ways; one of which was the use of "LOL" on the internet... a member of Mafia Wars on Facebook, if not one of the first in the game as well! Hell he may of even been one of the ones that created that world wide "family"... I'm told he was a "Warrior", a "cut-up", a man of many friends and loving family ~ He now dances on the other-side, his family grieving and loving, and just beginning the arduous journey of grief. Thoughts and prayers to all there this morning being sent on the wind...
"Brian, dance on brother, in the lights of the heavens, bet you gave Cancer a run for its money... Fight well fought Warrior!"

Prayers and love on the wings of angels today for:
Lily The Black Bear and Baby HOPE and all their relations, Dr Lyn Rogers, Sue Mansfield; scratched up but very pleased, and the NABC, and all who assisted out there in Ely MN,

Jill, Chris, Vicki, Cindy in NC, Cindy C, Nita, Laura, Mitch and family, Liz, Lee, Molly, Joanie, Jude, COFA,Judi, Matthew, Matt, Mark's family and many friends , Andrea, Jimmy, Marie and family up in New England, Pat, Dorothy, Angela, Elijah, Ode, Linda M, "Southwest VA", Irene, Kevin, Dr D, Randy, Dr P and family, Charlie and family, Booker, Bernice, Jean, Julie, Rhonda, Victoria, Mildred, Andi and family, Irene, Faith, Denise, Jim, Tom, Joey, Shelby friends and family, Judi, Phylis, Monica, Luci, Brandon, Joyce, Gina, 2 time Cancer survivor Tonya, Beverly and Family, Janeth, Melissa, Pam, Virginia, Stacey, Sara Cook 2 time Cancer Survivor, Kevin Edward Belevich and his Pops Jack Phelan, Elizabeth,

Those men and women and service animals serving this great country of ours, those who have served, their families and those who have died serving... my gratitude and prayers as well as those who are on this page to you and yours ~

~ CELEBRATE ~ Just Do It Cos' It Feels GREAT

Lily The North American Black Bear
and
HOPE
Back Together
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES PEOPLE,
Lily and HOPE had quite a vocal and loving
Celebration!

There's a party going on... it started when the words flashed on facebook:
SUCCESS
and then later under the watchful eye of the full moon... Lily and HOPE had a joyous reunion...
Lily making sounds that could be heard throughout the forest... HOPE heading straight for the milk supply ~

AFter they ran to each other, butted noses and knowing looks, knowing touch "bear to bear"
sounds of human tears could be heard in the background of the video, and pictures have been posted of Dr Lyn Rogers luring our HOPE from the protection of the Cedar Tree.
Boy those Cedars in MN are not like the Cedars in Virginia!
And then yesterday the facebook was lit up like a holiday ~ and my face hurts from smiling.
Now on the second pot of coffee, and doing a happy dance yep, a happy dance this early in the morning... still feeling
"sparkly like a holiday".
So I'm thinkin...
It's a good day to
CELELBRATE
Celebrate the joys in our world
CELEBRATE AND BE GRATEFUL
IF YOU WOKE UP THIS MORNING
IF
YOU LOVE AND HAVE BEEN LOVED
IF
YOU HAVE KNOWN THE TEARS OF JOY, OF SAD, OF GLAD, OF LOSS, OF GRIEF, OF GROWTH, OF
HOPE
So, what better time to CELEBRATE is my thinking...
Celebrate HOPE and Lily and their reunion in the wild...
Celebrate YOU
Celebrate all that YOU are
Celebrate the ability to choose
Celebrate the ability to SAY YES TO THE DAY
Click here, but don't forget to come back...
I'll wait...
la la ho hummm he da da lee la

Are ya feelin me NOW????
That was done by a buddy of mine, Randy who is ever so talented... You oughta see the eggs that were done at Easter time with Lily and Hope's picture! There's even one with my picture on it too ~ Randy just went over the top with genius on this Celebration though, staying up half the night waiting for the reunion of HOPE and Lily!
Stand UP, say YES to this mornin!

 ~ Celebrate my friends ~

"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you." {Dr Seuss}

Oh what a beautiful morning... OH what a day to
celebrate... a day to smile at every single soul you encounter, every circumstance you walk into, drive by and are a part of in this great world. Today as we find ourselves privileged to be alive as a result of those who are fighting to keep us free in this great Nation of ours.
CELEBRATE!
Put a box of skittles in your mouth and have a rainbow as one reader suggested... wash it down with a coke and have a razzle dazzle explosion of wonder kind of Celebration in your mouth and your  brain ~

Our friend Jill is almost finished with radiation out there in the Mid-West... I think her hubby has had to tie her to the couch to keep her from sneaking to MN to join the search party for HOPE... He probably has had the neighbors to drop in and give her food and water, filberts and grapes in order to provide sustenance over the days...
But I rather figure there is a guard at the door as she would have been in Ely saying,
"Hope, Lily ... It's Me Auntie Jill"
 from the get go!
She is a Warrior and she has her warpaint on at all times... a force to be reckoned with she is!

CELEBRATE:
celebrar, festejar, tener fiesta, tener clebracion, tener festejo, tener alegria

  • observe; behave as expected during of holidays or rites; "keep the commandments" celebrate Christmas, Observe your sacred times

  • have a celebration; "they were celebrating HOPE and the reunion of a North American Black Bear being united with her Mom Lily in Ely and across the globe";  they were celebrating with laughter and food and stories of wonder as a Cancer Survivor returned from New York... warriors all welcomed her with love, understanding and applause, a Warrior who kicked Cancer's ass!

  • At the end of the week a celebration was in order, so they met on the banks of the river... their echos of gladness could be heard for miles

  • While reading these thoughts I felt a celebration coming on, and I just felt like I had to stand up and STOMP with happy thoughts in my happy place ... CELEBRATE

  • While watching Randy's celebration video, my face was hurting by smiling, my toes were tapping, my head was bobbing with the music, I felt a celebration in my heart, a dance coming on in my soul, I just  had to celebrate
So there you go... thoughts on the way to get your party started this morning...
By the way...
How about that Flower moon last night?
What a wonderful gift to CELEBRATE our bears and humans alike... Now talk about a reason to celebrate!

We can thank the First Americans for the names of full moons... all taking us to seasons and cycles... Full Flower Moon – May
In most areas, flowers are abundant everywhere during this time, and the hibiscus are just beautiful here on the lanai, but out in the yard, I am ablaze with color and butterflies dancing everywhere.
My pal Tink is ever busy with keepin a watchful eye on the catter-pillers and their growth... being the butterfly expert that she is! And boy oh boy are they amazing ~ Butterflies in the making ...

Orange, black with blue tips, yellow, white, butterflies yesterday doing the dance of new beginnings and remembrance...
I've also heard of this moon by the name: the Full Corn Planting Moon, and Milk Moon... that Ms Sassy HOPE probably crawled high in the Cedar thinking she could get a drink from it reckon?.  LOL
Call it what you like, sure was an outstanding moon for a cub and her Mom to be reunited last night under its protection and bear spirit!

OH yes...
CELEBRATE
Might just be a good day to hit that drive-through and buy a stranger a coke... then drive up slowly and watch their expression through your rear view mirror... just imagine the Celebration their mouth will have after that first sip... heehe
Random acts of Celebration are FANtas-tical
Have a party ~
Enjoy yourself

HOPE WAS FOUND IN A CEDAR TREE!!! yippee

"Dear Creator,Thank you for Sue and Bear Rogers, thank you for all those who went lookin for HOPE, those who kept the HOPE alive with their thoughts and prayers... Thank you for the sweet and good milk that little Ms HO HO  got when she snuck up that Cedar Tree too and when Ms Sue lured her back down with Doc Rogers. But mostly, thank you for letting them take her to Ms Lily so they could be back together again to cuddle and talk and for HOPE to make those sounds as she drank the real stuff!. Now maybe those crazy humans will get some sleep and act more like us bears, and learn to chill some and play in the pond and have some filberts and nutz rather than be nutz. And Creator, bless the bear spirit Ursus all. Thank you, and please try to calm HOPE a little cos' she sure does like to to be Ms Sassy Pants and trick people and run around a lot for a little one. Amen."

Well I gotta tell ya, this week has had more than a month full of days in it so it seems! And the events of yesterday have just about worn my nerves raw... as evening approached the facebook on Lily's page was intense to be certain... the concern for HOPE was at an all time high, with the fears going beyond what imagination could reasonably take... Humans trying to make sense of a North American Black Bear and their natural habitat and reasoning... perspectives of research vs. human bonding and nurture vs. nature. IT was a roller coaster to be sure and did you know that "I DO NOT LIKE ROLLER COASTERS"
ALL IS GOOD IN ELY THIS MORNING, ALL IS GREAT ON FACEBOOK ON THE LILY PAGE TOO~ The video is one not to miss... http://www.bear.org/ or the reunion of Lily The NOrth American Black Bear and HOPE ~ the sounds of "where you been only heightened by the sounds of
"wow that milk is awesome MAAAA, I am hungreeee" ~

Meanwhile we have other events happening in our worlds...
a woman stated that her laundry has sat in the washer for a couple of days now... she is just too hooked to her computer to take the time to move the load to the dryer!
And I was too absorbed to fold my clothes so I kept hitting the button to continue to dry and fluff mine!
Others are out and about, time to garden, to mulch and to do that thing they call "spring cleaning"!

AND
Simon mad his final appearance on American Idol last night... Can you say... "DRSES is so sad"... Idol without Simon is like Florida without sunshine, bees without honey... a pool without water...
or as Simon would say,
"It is dreadful"! And how I will miss that sly wink of his!
I do think I would make an excellent Idol judge,
wonder why they are not calling me???

And wouldn't you just know it... as I sat with worry of HOPE being united with mama Lily and not knowing it had yet happened...
America got it "wrong" and Crystal was not chosen as the American Idol this year!!!
Woe Is Me
Don't get me wrong, I liked Lee... he has potential.
BUT
Crystal is the best of the lot for this year...
my prediction?
She will have a CD out before our Lee and it will be a hit!

So... as soon as American Idol ended I ran for the computer and on the top of
Lily's fanpage the status read:
SUCCESS
Success meant; HOPE has been united with her mama Lily the North American Black Bear! And I cried with joy. I am grateful, am concerned that Sue Mansfeld and Dr Lyn Rogers and those helping must be physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted.
I HOPE they will rest well tonight, will find and know the comfort that they have provided two bears and a host of humans that have grieved, have cried for themselves, for the bears and for so many unresolved losses over the last five days. And many have cried with
"anticipatory grief" of the loss they imagined would be real for Lily. Red eyes, stuffy noses, and headaches abound...

I realized that I didn't get too much accomplished yesterday... I was going through memories, I was keeping the fire bowl burning... the sage, sweetgrass, cedar was filling the air with prayers and thoughts and HOPE for finding HOPE... with thoughts on the wind to my friend Jill S and so many others... I was holding off a case of the sads the last few days with some experiences of the "uglies" from strangers that I could not quite understand as well. All of a sudden my friend/neighbor Sandy came over and the four leggeds were tickled to death, announcing her visit with barks of delight. As I looked up I saw a brilliantly beautiful arrangement of white roses (my favorite) and gasped at their beauty, but also noticed Sandy had tears in her eyes...
Not knowing whether to ask if they were for me or if she had brought her own flowers I said nothing for a minute!
She said I brought these in and they are for you!
Imagine that... OH MY... they were spectacular and quite a surprise... They were from my beautiful MOM...
So I said, "Are you the delivery person too?"
She replied, "Well I think she knows you are having a rough day, I told her we all are with Hope missing"!
And she sat down and we talked about Hope, held back a few tears...
and I admired my roses and was filled with love at the insight and wonderment of my intuitive and lovely Mom!
She couldn't have picked a better day to surprise and delight me with a bouquet of love and beauty.

Thanks Mom... they are gorgeous ~

And under a brilliant full moon I began to fill "sparkly" and wonderful in the knowing that the Universe provided for the bears, for the greater circle of life. And that those who love, have a way of knowing when you need that extra touch of surprise and arms from a distance to just fill your heart... My heart is full.
And for that I give thanks this morning as I drink my coffee and look at these silly and life filled four leggeds of mine as they get their party started with grins and barks and runs around the house and the pool.

I love Sparkly Days and Dream Filled Nights

What makes a day absolutely sparkly you ask? Sparkly is shiny clean, strings of colored glass bouncing the sunlight around like ribbons of glass.
A sparkly day feels perfect.
It’s happy and peppy, and well, wonderful. Sparkly needs sunshine, and butterflies, random little bird sounds and this morning it includes thoughts of HOPE and Lily together snuggling and Lily grabbing HOPE by the whole head and dropping her and rolling and tumbling in the leaves.
The smell of freshly cut grass, chimes tinkling in the slightest breeze. Today it includes music nice and loud inside and out here on the lanai; how's this for an assortment: Bob Marley, Bonnie Raitt, Jessi Colter, Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson, Patti Labelle, Roberta Flack, and Lady GaGa ~ wow... versatile I am today!!!

Sparkly feels good.
Real, real good.
No average, everyday thing can happen on a sparkly day.
Sparkly days are special.
They lift you up and insist on giggles and smiles, and hugs for no reason at all.
                             Ear to ear grins.
Happiness reverberating in every little tiny wonderful thing.
On a sparkly day, everything qualifies.
It’s all good.
Even something that might otherwise disgruntle us can inspire gales of laughter when the day sparkles.

Everything smells good.
 Colors are more intense.
 Sounds heightened.
Everything in balance, harmony in my world. In fact, better that harmonious.
It’s miraculous.
Everything is possible on a sparkly day. Limitless joy, grand abundance, perfection.

Today is sparkly day.
                  It’s a perfect day.
 How does this happen.
 Don’t know.
I have lots of good days.
Lots and lots of great days.
Memorable days, a dime a dozen.
It’s a good life, but sparkly days are special. They happen magically.
The feeling wells up inside me and I just know it when it happens.
Ever had a truly, amazing sparkly day?
I wish it for you.
Sparkly days make me want to call friends, send love letters and thank you cards, pick flowers, eat sinful indulgent dark chocolate truffles.
This is the day I wish for you.

A day where celebrating everything is necessary.

A brilliant wonderful, perfect Sparkly Day.
And after you have savored each moment, etched each second in your memory, to recall at will;
I wish you a perfect night filled with the sweetest dreams.
Dreams set to music.
Technicolor fantasies that amaze and restore. Grand adventures that sweep you up and transport you to magical places.
Hot air balloon rides, deep sea diving, the islands, the moon, dancing amongst the stars with every person you have ever loved sharing the dream. Rides with the dolphins, soaring on the wings of Eagles where you can have a keener view of the world in all its splendor ~

I wish this for you too.
                   Because I cherish you.
Because a sparkly day and a sweet dream night is the gift my heart sings to you.
This day, this amazing, wonderful, special sparkly day.

May you find comfort in knowing you are not alone along the journey... along the path we are with you always...

"i never need to see the sun again, there enough light in your eyes to light up all the world" {ANONYMOUS} and that's cos' you are sparkly like a holiday! Remember when that line was said in Rain Man??? Love that movie!
Wherever you are today, whatever you are doing... CHOOSE TO BE SPARKLY, CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY... CHOOSE TO HAVE "HOPE" IN EVERY BREATH, EVERY STEP... when all else fails just think of a little North American Black Bear Cub named Hope who strayed from her mother and was found in the forest 5 days later up a Cedar tree, lured down by sweet concentrated milk only to be re-united by her momma Lily ~ against all odds HOPE... and never ever think ... less than you CAN ...
Blessings to you and yours friends.
