Inner BEAUTY...Stained-Glass Window of the Heart ~INNER BEAUTY

Magic's Memory Stone
made by:
Kamryn his best buddy

Saturday is here!
De-Caf yummy, four-leggeds just doing great with their morning; it's morning barks and free for alls throughout the house and onto the lanai!
Had my very first Skype experience with my
"adopted son" Pedro in Brazil this week... so good to see him, so lovely to see his city from the web cam.
He taught me the word
"exacts"
and we remembered together the splendor of Disney.
As I was admiring the memory stone that Kamryn made for Magic, I started thinking about the inner beauty of life, of people, of the world that I am so blessed to live in... Now with fans on the FB page and here from all across the globe, I am honored.
From Brazil to New Zealand, to Scotland, England and all through the states... we are all drawn together with such unique and amazing strengths and inner beauty.

Inner Beauty may best be described by Dr Ross, my hero:

"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within." ~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

All the trappings of education, stylishness, manners, good looks are meaningless without a good heart and a great dose of common sense. So how do we foster this in our imperfect selves?
It’s not the face we put on but the heart in our chest that reveals itself.

So do we rely on sarcasm, petty remarks, snide quips to stand out?
If so, guilty as charged. Our hearts cannot reveal a light that does not exist.

We start with our own self examination.

Are we bitter? Do we cling to the self definition that the world owes us and has come up short, or do we acknowledge that we get as good as we give.
Is it our truth that we are mean spirited and trying to “fake it” in the really good-hearted department?
Lot’s of people do.
But really, doesn’t it eventually come to light? Do we not see through this thin veil of a heart’s disguise?

First, love must reside in our hearts.

It must be anchored so tightly there that every fiber of our being recognizes in ourselves the slightest misstep. Common sense helps here too I'm thinking...

Even the best of us are capable of an undesirable thoughtless word or deed.
But a kind heart will feel this like the faux pas it was and seek to rectify the moment.

No, we cannot “un-ring the bell”, so we must assure that we hold no reservoir of these bad moments in our selves.

Intention is mindful. If we seek to give more than we receive, to lighten more often than we burden, love more than we abhor, we own our hearts light.

The Back of Magic's Memory Stone
with
Kamryn's Hand, names, his heart

"Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished".
~Michael Strassfeld

We can choose to be the light, or reflect the light. I see merit in both.
In reflecting the light of others, my path is brighter.
In gifting light to a weary traveler on a dark path, I strengthen my resolve to have the light in my heart shine.

Shine, shine on, because there is light, the darkness is dispelled in so many ways.
Let some ray of your heart’s light guide you this day.
You will be better for it and the entire world will benefit.

Magic sure would be proud of his very own stained glass memory stone made by little Kamryn! Bet he got a kick out of that from the other side... Probably figuring if you can't eat it what good is it!, but it is the inner beauty of love that lasts throughout a lifetime and beyond, through the pain of loss and into the next place... the inner beauty of a child and the child within all of us that makes this life a remarkable gift to cherish each moment...

It's Saturday, what a glorious day~
STOMP
with gratitude today.

Just got news that one of our folks we've been sending energy thoughts and prayers to with stage IV Cancer, named Cindy... is almost in REMISSION  against all odds up there in NC...
We are still here Cindy, we are with you ...
YOU are a warrior, fight.

Add COB/aka Mom to the list folks... remember that Cancer on her leg the day Rolling Thunder was rolling to DC? Well the (brilliant surgeon?) didn't get it all ~ She is headed to NC for surgery next Tuesday to have surgery on same leg (shin bone)_ouch... numbing... ouch...
She will walk in with her warrior attitude and warpaint on to be certain... Heaven help them if they mess with the MOM/COB...
Send her some great thoughts and prayers that this get done quickly and efficiently once and for all so that she is running the roads in COB style once again... now she is on a moratorium from the sun, we'll have to wrap her in sheets/blankets/socks/leggings to get her out on the waters now!

The picnic in Ely is going on strong for bears Lily and HOPE and many are watching and having a "virtual picnic" on the Facebook site... tears in their beer that they could not join the real picnic but happy for those who are ~

HOPE ~ Gotta have HOPE ~

Lily the North American Black Bear
and
HOPE
Re-United after being apart for so long
Picking right up where their hearts left off
HOPE
What a wonderful thing
Ya gotta have HOPE
to visit and get updates on the world famous
North American Black Bears

It's getting ready to happen again this morning, I just know it is!
That sun is getting ready to shine baby shine!
Now I could use more technical term, more of a scientific way of explaining the "exacts" as my friend Pedro in Brazil calls it for those things like
physics, chemistry, scientific facts and math to explain this wonderment of the morning!
Just as I could use the clinical and therapeutic languages to give you my thoughts of the day.
BUT
why not just speak to your heart?
Call it as it really is?
IT IS AMAZING
OUTSTANDING
REMARKABLE
A BLESSINGS FROM THE UNIVERSE,
THE CREATOR THAT
WE ARE HERE THIS MORNING
to join with the sun and dance to the rhythm of life's heart beat!
This de-caf coffee is really the same as high test I tell ya... Still feeling the same I am!
That beautiful North American Black Bear named Lily gave a world sitting around computer screens
a beautiful and sassy cub
named
HOPE
and for the last 6 months, the Facebook page has grown to over 100,000
with folks across the globe, chatting, learning, riding the roller coasters of emotions, happy to sad ! Worried to wonderful; angry to glad, and all the thoughts between the two. Then the bears got separated... and oh my what a time was had then on that page...
The opinions flew like fireworks on the fourth of July.
AND
through it all some maintained
HOPE
I'm just thinking about HOPE today... the little cub with that marvelous name and so much more.

HOPE... I am filled with, overjoyed by, excited to think about...
Hope!

There are two quotes I’d like to share with you. Both contain a truth we so often forget.

"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Marden

"We must accept finite disappointment,
but never lose infinite hope. If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream." - Martin Luther King,Jr.

Our hopes, dreams and aspirations are legitimate. They are meant to lift us up. To inspire, to get us airborne. To take us above the clouds, above the storms, to give flight to our dreams and aspirations.

Hope always triumphs over experience. We may try and fail, but if we continue to hope for the outcome we seek, we will raise up and try again.

It is not right to live a life trapped by fear, but rather to live by hope.
Hope for that which can lift us up. Hope for the future, knowledge that what we hope for can become our reality. Don’t fall into the headset that the frustration of a dream or hope not yet recognized, won’t eventually come true.
Know that it’s potential is sure, it is a work in progress. Hope for a brighter today, tonight, tomorrow gives us the momentum to get through this moment.

Hopes and dreams are the essence of our lives quests. None of us have the ability to control every thing tossed in our path by life, but we do have the ability to overcome whatever these momentary setbacks cause.

Because we hold hope in our hearts, the unbearable becomes our past, not our entire future. Because we hope for good, we participate in bringing it about.
When we hope for love, we open ourselves up to receiving it.
Hope gives flight to our dreams.
Maybe it is because hope inspires us to action.
Hope opens the door to unrealized potential; Our own potential.

Every athlete hopes to win the contest, the game...
Every inventor hopes to master the dream and turn an idea into a reality.
Every writer hopes to be read.
Every bride hopes to be beautiful.
Every Mother hopes to raise wonderful kids.

And so we must hope if we are to meet with success.
We must start with the knowledge that all things are possible.
Every dream, every hope is the basis for our efforts.
We reach every destination one small step at a time.
There is magic in dreams, there is a force in hope .
A life force. We first hold the hope in our heart.
See the dream with clarity, and then, step up to the plate and hit it out of the park. With clarity, with HOPE, work the plan... make the plan work with great success and celebration of the HOPE that started it all!

Hope that this time, we will bring about the dream we have envisioned.
Without hope, life can be a very dismal path on a long and tiresome journey.

So the lesson is, HMMM what is the lesson?
HOPE IS WAITING FOR YOU TO EMBRACE AND CHERISH AND USE IT TO ENHANCE YOUR BEING!

Hope drives us forward to better things, to live our dreams, to dream big!
Whether today has brought you a dream fulfilled, or a dim ray of hope for a greater tomorrow, know that this day is a gift. It is YOUR gift to cherish, to savor, to have fun with and work hard with... It is YOURS!

Tomorrow can be the reflection of the day you hoped for.
So hope for this to be your best day, hope for it to be the beginning of great things, absolute certainties of what you want/need/desire, and glorious sunrises and sunsets with fantastic people to share gigantic experiences with along the way.

Then, set about to make it happen.
Are ya feelin me here?

TODAY, I HOPE you have all that you dare to dream!

The fire is burning brightly with thoughts on the winds to all who enter here, all who we send our prayers and thoughts for and to ~ You know who you are, you read your names here often... You are with some powerful warriors here and in the next place, never alone, surrounded by some awesome angels as well!

Welcome to Hawaii Soldier Boy Madden! Texas is gearing up to welcome you home I hear and your Mom Cathy Madden is "over the moon" that her son is on USA soil... Thank you for serving our great nation... We are so happy you are home!

I wish you ENOUGH

Neighbor Sandy is Home from Ely MN
Visited the NABC
Home of Lily and HOPE and all the Bears There
The North American Black Bears
This is what I got!
PLUS
A beautiful picture of
HOPE

Great morning I'm thinking! Sandy visited and told me all about Ely... all about the NABC
Ted, Lucky, Honey
Seems she "just missed" Dr Lyn Rogers when she got there, but she did get to meet a woman who was ever so knowledgeable and has been there since the very beginning ~
Sandy found out that during the "hunting season" they have people out there who will "walk with the bears" from sun up to sun down... at least with those bears that will join them, to prevent hunters from killing them! She said there were people working all over the place; all with things they were doing, busy busy busy.

But oh my did she have a wonderful visit, you could see it in her eyes as she told of her travels and her experiences in and about Ely!
She, her Mom, Mae, and granddaughter Cannis were enchanted by each story, amazed to see Lucky, Ted and Honey, and each of the guides as they sat by the pond on bleachers; the same pond we all watch on the
live cam!
They heard that HOPE and Lily were about 8 miles away at the last reading, but they had a ball!
AND
they got to look at all different types of "scat" while there too! You can bet that they had a ball in the gift shop; Sandy was sporting her new
purple t-shirt with the 3 amigos on it!
And
I got Bear "scat/poop" from the NABC bear store! Chocolate Covered Pralined Peanuts!
Might just have them with my coffee this morning.
It was enough to hear the stories, to hear the joy in her voice as she shared their adventures.
Visit them, see the pictures and video, become captured by Lily and HOPE, I've watched for more than 6 months and it has been an amazing education and journey.

Today
I wish you enough

We Have Enough Of All That Is Necessary

Are we lacking any of the basic necessities of life?
Do we consider ourselves richly blessed because we are not lacking?

We may not have as much as others, but that is not the measure of whether we have enough.

Maybe not the most, maybe not less than most, but enough. I think the answer is a resounding YES.

We are already enough, we already have enough.

The rest is just abundance.

There is no shame in abundance.
Do not get me wrong here,
abundance is good, abundance is great,
I love ABUNDANCE ! ! !

But are we lacking in gratitude, when we can say yes, we do have enough, but…

I want to paraphrase something I once read by the German Playwright Johnathan Wolfgang.

I fully admit to some liberties taken here regarding his sentiments.

To put this in perspective, I think he hit the nail on the head with his philosophy, I just want to present it is a way that might be less prosaic.

We need enough health to provide some pleasure from our work, our play, and our relationships.

Enough wealth to meet our basic needs, and a bit more to support our wants.

Enough strength to overcome the obstacles thrown in our path.

Enough patience and perseverance to battle life’s difficulties.

Enough charity in our hearts to give what we can for the benefit of others.

Enough love to sustain us.

ENOUGH hope to overcome whatever fears we have.

I would add one more to this list.

Enough wisdom to know the difference in a “want” and a “need”.

I meet so many people who are waiting for their ship to come in, while standing at the airport.

While I have another dear heart who is charting her destiny; who has stated her desire, her wants, her needs and is setting her course to see that reality and is making it happen NOW. She too is a "firewalker", a warrior, a woman with a clear vision... and a heart filled with love and passion!

SEE IT, BELIEVE IT, RECEIVE IT

People who have lives rich with friends, family, an adequate place to call home, a steady income, food on their table, and still they anguish over how little they have.

Could be a good time to get real.

Yes, we can and do aspire to have more, be more, get there (wherever there is), to climb higher, achieve greater things, and there is no shame in that either. One must climb to get to the top of that mountain... the view spectacular... desire and want necessary to climb mountains, move mountains or to say, "Mountain get out of my way"!

As long as we recognize that we have already so much more than so many.

See it, dream it, believe it, Receive it.

Aspire as you chose, but first, be thankful for what we have and at least consider some dream that might benefit some other soul that has less, that does not even have enough.

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing,
know that I wish you enough...

The fire is burning brightly with thoughts on the winds of hope in healing; strength in all ways to all those who enter here... We are with you, we are Warriors here, ready to send our best thoughts, our best wishes... We stand strong for and with those out there fighting the fight, battling their battles... ROCK BOTTOM... just ain't no place to be

Just Sittin with BRASIL

We didn't hit rock bottom, but we sure did hit the concrete that day ~ It was HOT... hot and hotter after hours, many many hours in the Magic Kingdom... We waited with anticipation for the lights and the action of the parade, the fireworks and the wonderment of
Tinker Bell!
The view is rather interesting when you are that close to the bottom... you see all the latest fashion of 'sneaks' being worn... You marvel at the folks wearing "flip-flops" to do Disney and talk about their feet that must be on fire from the walking! But oh what a view we had of the brave souls who attempted to jump rope right in front of us! Some were quite good at it; some our Brasil family I might just add!!!
The little ones are on a tear this morning, around the pool, cutting those edges mighty close I'm thinkin as me and my coffee enjoy each other. Sure would hate to interrupt my coffee to save a little pom this morning.

Well at least when you hit rock bottom, you know you can either stay there, or STAND UP...
Kinda like that dead end street I'm thinkin.
Revise your thinking; a dead end street is just a place to turn around!
Still think they should change those signs:
"TURN AROUND PLACE"
heehe
We need a switch like that in our brains...
wait
we can command our brains to use that switch!
When you control your thoughts, your feelings and you don't like the way they or someone makes you think, feel or act or re-act
STOP
CHANGE THE FEELING
TURN IT AROUND
Re-GAIN YOUR CONTROL
STAND UP
STOMP

When you hit rock bottom, there’s only two ways to go,
straight up, or sideways!

Wynonna Judd says it best in her song:
 "Rock Bottom."
A dead end street IS just a place to turn around.
As she sings, with such gusto, the good news is:
when you get down to nothing, you got nothing to lose
(except perhaps those who love you, the faithful four-legged who adores you, the mood of the day, the sun shining in your heart, your humor, your thirst for life, your .... you get the idea).

I love that song!
When all else fails, attitude IS everything.
Rock Bottom ain’t no place to be.
"When the sky is the limit up on easy street,
ROCK BOTTOM AIN'T NO PLACE TO BE!!!"

There are days when at every turn of the bend we can feel thwarted.
It can feel like the universe has entered a conspiracy to land us flat on our face or heavily on our butts.
Guess what?
It is not bad karma catching up with us
. It is not a kid or your four-legged or spouse or your boss:
 out to get YOU
and
treat you badly or make you feel like crap or angry
with his/her antics of silliness or rudeness or meanness,
or someone peeing in your Wheaties
                                               to ruin your mood,
                your day or YOUR LIFE.

And no, in the next life we will not be assigned to turn the hand crank on the Queen Many to atone for past mistakes.

It is only this moment in time that is out of whack
or
YOU are out of whack in that moment in time.
Hang in there, This too shall pass.
Not all days will be like this.
 Keep your head up.
The road maybe bumpy today.
Pull out that birth certificate of yours... no where, I mean no where on it does it say: Life will be fair, no where does it say you will always like what others do say or act!
YOU cannot control the actions, words or deeds of others,
but
YOU can control YOU...
Rock Bottom ain't no place to be!

Forgive and forget YOURSELF and others... Humans do human things... SH** happens as they say in the real world... STAND UP and get over it, live a life you can be proud of ...

Ever find yourself stuck in a moment like that.

Take heart, shake it off.

Keep some perspective, OK it may take a lot of perspective!

Step back and know that as awful as it feels, we do have the capacity to change the moment.
Or, we might choose to just ride it out. BUT know, in the riding of "it" we may run over someone or some things that we later regret... we may get ourselves so worked up along the ride that later we misconstrue why in the world we took the ride in the first place ~ Damn those choices sometimes!

Let the chips fall.
Honor YOUR resiliency.
In the light of tomorrow the sun will return. I hope we are here to see it, and that those we love are as well.

Even when our worst fear comes to pass, it comes, it eventually passes.

Keep in mind that we are not addressing every instance in life, just the constellations of cluster troubles.

You know, those Murphy’s Law days that slap us silly.

When all that can go wrong, does?
Just let it play out. It will play itself out one way or the other!
Tomorrow when this brief crises passes you will be able to look back and laugh at the entire exercise in futility that grappling with that moment in time was.
What has folks all "jacked up" today will not be remembered or even thought of by anyone a few hours later... so why get your butter in a flutter? I'm thinkin...
Feelin me here?
As catastrophic as the moment seemed, as promised, it passed. Let the laughter begin.
I mean really really laugh! If you allow and choose to let the "rock bottom" moment take over those great and wonderful experiences... well "Shame on YOU" what a stupid choice you will be making!

Most of the time, I can just step back and just let the proverbial hand cart carry it south, much further south than Florida.

Grab a seat on the roller-coaster that we call life and hang on. These small setbacks are just that; small setbacks
Did I mention that I can't stand rollercoasters??? So rather than the rollercoaster ... for me I just stay in my "no pressure zone" works great for me!

At the “end of your rope”?
Tie a knot and hang on tight.
I can say with absolute certainty that this is just one more opportunity to climb back to the top. Try to take the time to notice all the lovely and interesting things on your way to the top, meet new folks.... you might need them next time the fall starts ~
We have all “been there and done that”.
Stay focused on the good stuff. And my friends there is some absolutely "sick" and "wicked stuff" to focus on!

Give no power to the everyday junk when it is scattered in your path. See it for what it is and move on.

It’s all about attitude!
Attitude is everything. Live BIG! Practice positive thinking. Just go on and slap yourself silly when a less than positive thought enters your head!
Pinch yourself til you bruise if you even utter a negative word out loud ~
You are worth it and those that love you will be healthier and happier because of it.

STAND UP, STOMP, rush into your day with gratitude and gladness.... when you find your butt on the ground and feeling out of sorts... be sure and notice the wonderment from that angle before you choose to STAND UP! Amazing sights to see while you are down there, but that concrete is hard baby, real hard.... I choose to STAND, to embrace life with all its idiosyncrasies, all its moods, colors, thunder/lightning and rainbows ~

What's new with you today?

The fire is burning brightly with thoughts on the winds of hope in healing; strength in all ways to all those who enter here... We are with you, we are Warriors here, ready to send our best thoughts, our best wishes... We stand strong for and with those out there fighting the fight, battling their battles... We along with some powerful angels are with you, you are never alone...

CHANGE: not the kind you carry in your Pockets!

Change is sometimes
Slow, Sometimes fuzzy, Sometimes Hard

A brilliant beau-tif-ic morning it is!

Results from that "swoosh test of the neck arteries"
Rollin like a River and all GREAT here!
WOOO HOOO
Happy am I!

I tell ya, I believe there is no difference in "De-Caf" and "High Test" in the coffee world! I truly cannot tell any difference at all ~
Still "ramped" up on life, tastes and smells the same to me, so I'm thinking... why have two different kinds anyway?
Just so you can think about "change" maybe, or have a "choice" or make a "change"?
Ah
that's it!
CHANGE

Change is the essence of life.
Life changes us whether or not we desire the change, whether or not we cause the change, whether or not we accept the change.
The seasons change
The days and months and years change
Moods change
Tides change
People change
Music and fashion change
Health and wellness change
Attitude and Latitude change
Most of us DO NOT LIKE CHANGE!

Change may be a brilliant opportunity to grow, cleverly disguised as a struggle or loss. Change may be forced upon us.
An event in our life, whether welcomed or dreaded brings with it change.
The only real certainty in life is change.

When someone we love dies, our world feels as though it is turned upside down.
Everything is changed.
Our life changes before our eyes.
We know that we cannot change this truth.
We can not go back in time and make the outcome different.
This is why every fiber of our being rails against acceptance.
We are faced with monumental change.
It is life’s most difficult struggle.
Knowing all our lives that each of us at some point in time will leave this life has not prepared us.
The knowledge that no one we love will live forever, does not soften our loss.
Death is why the universe has taught us to grieve.
It is a transition period.
As difficult as it is, we must allow ourselves time to face this change in our lives before we can regain our footing.
Life is not stagnant.
Know that you can adapt, you will heal, you will grow, you will learn ways to incorporate your loss into your life differerently than ever before when you are ready.

Know that change does not always come gently into our lives. As awful as the experience is, we will survive even the change of painful loss.
 Death changes us.

But life changes us too.
Every life event changes us in some big or small way.
Though not always welcomed, change is life’s constant companion.

Most change is uncomfortable.
Because we are all creatures of habit.
Change makes us stretch ourselves out of our “comfort zone”.
Sometimes we unconsciously resist even the change we want, simply because we find ourselves in uncharted territory.
In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves.
"The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility." - Eleanor Roosevelt

Railing against change wastes our energy, stunts our growth. Even unwelcomed change thrust upon us must be reckoned with.
Lesser changes may even be desired, and still we find that change is often difficult.
 Some changes we embrace wholeheartedly.
Often we bring about the change we want to see.
We embrace the change we desire.
This is how it should be.
If we must adapt so often to undesired changes, we must also be ready to celebrate the changes we desire in our lives.
Yes, this type of change can also feel uncomfortable.
Change brings with it the need to adapt. As with all change, there is a cascading effect. One small shift can set in motion unseen events that follow.

If we are realizing a desirable change, then we should expect some things about the process to surprise us.
Change is inevitable.
It is possible to embrace change.
Though we can't change the direction of the wind, we can adjust our sails to reach a desired destination. It just takes desire, and a sincere effort!
Sometimes, we must surrender what we are in this moment, for what we can become if we allow ourselves purposeful change.
We must unchain ourselves from the fear of change.
Because life changes us, day by day, moment by moment, is there not good reason to be the agent of this change?

I’ll use again the metaphor of the ship at sea.
Sometimes tossed about in the tempest of terrible storms, sometimes moving gently under still, cloudless skies, the captain at the helm must govern the vessel.
We are each the captain of our own life’s ship.
We must chart our own course, weather each storm, and choose the direction we set sail for.

As the currents, the tides, the weather is ever changing, so are our lives.
Life is not always easy to navigate successfully, but we must.
And so, Be mindful of the events in life that change us, bring about the change we desire and act with purpose.
 Create opportunities for change.
Even pure water left undisturbed stagnates.
Water and life's events are to be respected... the storms can come up from calm seas without much notice ~
Pay attention! YOU are the one to pay closest attention and keep your eye on the horizon ~ trust your gut... and use all your senses
Remember that caterpillar?
Do not allow yourself to be "swayed" by others (even if well intentioned), be respectful by their concern, their suggestions: but you are the master of your ship!
Or for another metaphor:
remember the picture above: that fabulous caterpillar of Tinks' in Palm Harbor, just waiting to join her other butterflies and be amazing?
What a struggle they must go through for that change!
Remember the struggle to free itself from that tight little chrysalis of darkness and into the light?  Now really... talk about change!
C'mon into the light my friends...

STOMP!

Be the change you want to see in yourself!
Know that there will be some/many changes that will occur in which you have no... absolutely no control over during this life.
Change can be that way!
YOU are a warrior, you are a survivor
Change: will occur, just as the seasons, the tides, the moments and the days...
Whether you kick, scream, protest ....
Embrace the change and lead the way,
Be the Change you want to see, embrace life with the many changes that you will face in this precious life.
As my friend Tonya (who is preparing to say "I do in October) sang along with a famous country music star recently at a concert with the spirit of her best friend Elke (*who died of Cancer in her 20's) beside her:
"Live Like You Were Dying"
and you will Love more, Live Large and in Color
during all the many and varied changes that find you.

“We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.”
