iT'S ALL A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE

A little tiny fire
can
bring a lotta heat
BUT
notice the size of the
firepit?
The large windows
and
the little chair?

I had so much fun... and actually had to duck to get through the openings in this place called, "The Shed"
for a wonderful meal while traveling!

The little fireplace really took my breath
away
as I noticed the wonderful
heat coming from it
and the rather large window to the side
and had to again
"duck" to get through the doorway!
Oh how I giggled over that one!
It's all in the
perspective
of times
and
situations
and
how you think about things
I do believe!
How you "frame it"
perhaps!
Just as our warrior
EE
has over and again
helped us along the way with showing great
resiliency
in her journey
as
her trip through all of her struggles
only to hear from the cardiologist office
that the heart "stuff"
now is delayed
a day!
As Joey Graff who reminds us to
"dust of the dancing shoes"
and
dance in to Mondays
was trying to get the tree ready for the
beautiful and annual decorations
took a fall of 6 feet landing on his back
but
I notice he didn't break any decorations
or
any bones!
AND
he is bruised
but still
dancing
after a time
of
Thanksgiving!
PERSPECTIVE
we
may need to adjust our lens
in order to see things more clearly
or
to put a different angle on what we are viewing
but
as we move into the holidays and the
hustle and bustle of all the
glitter and jazz
it will
probably do us all well...
if
we can remember
all that glitters is not gold!
The trees will get trimmed
once again this year,
and
if not?
Well perhaps
it would be interesting to just put them up with lights and
leave the rest alone for a change!!!
After all
what's the harm
of
switching things up ever so often?
Perhaps we can just dress up and stand beside the tree!

OR
dance around it
and no one would notice that there isn't decorations
they would be to busy looking at us?

Perspective
that is the word for the day!

It is really important
to take
ONE STEP
at a time
and
from there
all other steps will flow more easily!

And It just may be that in doing that you will gain great insight along the way, great perspective into the next step,
and new found beauty
of doorways
and sights
and
caution signs as well.
But
one can only hope that as we make those steps
we can find room for laughter
and
remember
to pay it forward
with each step in ways that will leave the Ancestors smiling
and
the next generation with lessons to also pave their way
to new understandings!
Where the is humor in trying times
in times of all times
there is an opportunity
to regain a new and fresh perspective
to any daunting situation~

So there you go.

CYPBER MONDAY

jEEPERS
IS
not so sure about
"cyber monday"
but it sure
knows how to get in the mood
of
packing and to let his presence and thoughts be known!

IT"S MOnday, monday MONDAY
time to
get your motors running for the week
and
to now
get in the
SWING
of things
...
I hope everyone who was traveling had a fantastic trip, home now safely
and
the disappointments few
and
the great memories
FANTASTIC!!!
><
tODAY
our friend
EE heads out in Colorado
*hopefully in the Van*
for the heart cath,
and on her behalf
I thank those who were able to
"throw something back"
and help with all that is happening there
and
to thank ALL
for the prayers, support and kindnesses
extended!
She is a lovely woman
and
we now pray her through this
and back home with her son to heal.
><
“I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.”-Maya Angelou
The holidays are in full swing
here
I'm seeing live
Christmas trees in the backs of trucks
and
decorations all ready up!
The air is alive
with those shoppers
that we are reading about and seeing on
TV
and
also
around the globe
folks are preparing for the
annual

COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS WORLDWIDE
CANDLE-LIGHTING
as
we remember the children
Please
check in your areas
for details
it is
the
SECOND SUNDAY IN DECEMBER
at
7PM
candles will be lit around the globe
remembering the children who have died
any age/any cause
and folks will gather to remember.
><

Ah yes,
the holidays are upon us
and
holidays are a good time
NOW
to remember
and to realize that expectations of others may leave you feeling short/angry/disappointed.
It's time now
to sit down with you
and
review
what are the plans, what are the ideas
and
the expectations...
Let others know as well
so everyone is talking from the same place,
and
knows the same informations
in order
to not be disappointed!
Dang
It is amazing the amount of
disappointments around
the
holidays
isn't it?

Maybe it's the cold
or
maybe.....
><
HAVE A HATCHET LAYING AROUND?
It just may be time to bury it,
get rid of the old issues/emotions/hurts
or
when facing those thoughts,
1. fill basin with cold ice water
2. submerge head and count to 10
3. come up /catch breath
4. notice what matters to you now
5. go forward
><

Also may be good to remember
the holidays
are times of
triggers for many people
and
those who have issues
with
"addictions"
may be tempted
or
may suffer relapses.
...
Trust is hard earned
and hard to re-establish once broken,
but
can happen.

><
NOW
time to leave you darlings
and
jump onto
CYBER-MONDAY

Let's start here

Blesssings to all who enter here
and
it's a great idea to order those gifts of
Healing Heartaches, for friends/families
and
we ship to you in 24 hours
with a special free gift

Sunday's prayer bowl

NO NO NO
PLEEEZE NO MORE
TURKEY

Bring on the
steak
enough of the turkey already
where's the beef?
hahaha

I couldn't help myself when I saw that picture of
Kamryn
I thought
"I bet many are thinking I've had enough of turkey"
where
is something else?"
I'm hoping for a lazy day today
one that is just
"kicked back and easy"
and
to all of you
I send thoughts of
relaxation
soothing
pepples in flowing water
kind of feelings
to let you just
ease into your day with
amazing grace.
The fire is going ... its embers are hot, and the prayer bowl is full
May this day embrace you allowing you to be all that you are
with
HOPEFUL hearts, and mindful purpose
as you move into your day
Blessings to you from my home to yours.
I've attached the link for our friend and warrior here
known as EE
who is facing some difficult days ahead
and now she and her son could use some help as they are
dealing with more than they can find resources for with a broken down vehicle that needs repair to get her to
her upcoming surgery...
If you would like to help
or
can
you will see a link at the top of her blog
to send a gift of caring via payPal
and
I can assure you
it will be appreciated
and
well received.
Warriors of gentle spirit
I'm sure
will continue to amaze me
as
I do believe
that it is in the spirit of giving
that we receive so very much. http://workthedream.wordpress.com/

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
~Maya Angelou

I thank you on behalf of someone who inspires us all
to see the glass as at least half full no matter our limitations
or what happens along the journey
and
to embrace each moment along the way.
Thank you EE for all the many gifts
your friendship has given to me.

And during this time
of
Thanks-In-Giving
I would like to again
say

Wado
Thank you
to all of you who visit here,
for reading,
for commenting
and
for teaching me along the way
the resilience and the wonderment of our lives
in each step and footprint we leave on
each others hearts.

Saturday after Turkey Day!

SO MANY CHOICES

Good morning world
and
all the folks who enter here
as
we boot scoot into
Saturday!
Just like those boots...
So many choices
so much to think about,
oh my
we can dance around and into this and the days to come
but
we have to get off the shelves
and
into the groove and boogie
with the right fit!!!

I bet those malls and shops are just giddy
after the news reports
a most successful
BLACK FRIDAY
...
i JUST wonder
how they know all that anyways
since they report such staggering sales
before the stores are even closed
and
folks haven't even emptied out their registers
and
we are heaing across the Nation
of the
most successful of
Black Fridays?
Guess it's good that I'm not the one having to
wrap my head around all that information
and
really glad I wasn't in the many lines
nor
in
the craziness I saw on the news
"pepper spray" in one place to keep others away
by one person"
"gun shots and harm at another"
???
BUT
did you see anyone with a real happy look to them
out there shopping?
I had to laugh when the
"financially fit" advise for
Black Friday suggested that folks take and make their planning for Black Friday
and
suggested they take several pair of shoes, drinks, sandwhiches and a cooler with them... Really?
To a mall for shopping, they suggested all of that?
Can you visualize a real shopper pulling a cooler
through a mall and stopping for lunch ?
I had to laugh at that one
and
then imagine the food folks
and
their dismay!!!

><
HOping this morning
is treating you well
and
you are still loving the leftovers of your holiday
having made many
"Hallmark Moments"
along the way
and
savored delious scents/flavors/treats
and
now have memories to sustain, and fill you up
at will!
Abundence to bring joyous moments
even in times of strain or difficulty
made easier is we can reflect
on those wonderful moments
or
great laughs
aromas
foods
and
times shared.
><
We now can say
we are entering the holidays
as
folks are now shifting gears
and preparing
for decorations
and
shopping til they drop
or beginning to bake and think of ways to do things
differently this year.
Many give to "causes" near and dear to their hearts
while others
find ways to make a difference.
Still others
have become "jaded" I've learned
finding that perhaps the very thing they have given to
over time and emotional pulls
are not as they thought
or
as they "should be"
and
that can often leave a
"raw wound"
rather
than the good feeling
of
"paying it forward"
or
giving til it hurts.
The holiday season is a time of
"thanks-IN-GIVING"
it seems
a time of great gratitude
and
in the giving.
A time of generousity
and
of love.
It is the love
that
we will all
reach out to others
into the
LIGHT
of
these holidays!

The holidays are difficult for many;
those who are facing challenges,
those who are entering the holidays
and
missing those not here
physically with us.
Those who are re-visiting ole' man grief
who creeps in around this time of year
and makes that emptiness greater in the dark months
and
often will take the breath away of those who are trying to adjust to life differently this time of the year.
It is in these times
that we often
find that
standing UP
and
embracing the light
helps,
perhaps in the service to others
is the best gift we can give.
It is then we shine brightest
and
feel the presence of those no longer with us.
Resiliency is remarkable
I hope you will not sell yourself short
please be kind to
YOU.

A friend we're holding up out there in CO
is preparing for a heart catherization on Tuesday *a dangerous procedure*
 and kidney surgery following ,
she and her son
are in need of our support
EE
in Colorado
and now they've run upon some difficult times
and need a little help.
I stand amazed actually at the resilience of this woman
with all she has faced and is facing
and
now has a van that just went
"bam"
and needs quick intervention,
and
they need some help.
WE can together help make that happen I do believe.
"YES VIRGINIA THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS"
I'm attaching a link to her blog here,
*send as gift/no fees involved*
this woman is a true testatment of a warrior
and
a survivor
who gives a new definition to
"resilient"
and
one who is faith filled with hope
during good and most difficult times.
There is a link to help if you can,
and
I will tell you she is a lovely woman...
She is not a "scam artist", she is a woman of integrity and just an honest down to earth person, "ordinary folk" she says;
she and her son are real,
I have visited them,
I am proud to call her my friend
and
I hope you will join me in
"paying it forward",
or in as Maya Angelou says, "throwing something back";
to help them be able to get that van fixed so that she will be able to ride in it on her way to that skilled cardiologist
and feel us with her
for that cath
scheduled for Tuesday
and
on Tuesday
we will surround her in prayers
for a succesful surgery
so she can return home to heal and then she faces kidney surgery for removal of a tumor that is threatening her life.
><
If we could all hear one another's prayers, God might be relieved of some of his burdens.
~Ashleigh Brilliant

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back. ~Maya Angelou

Here's the link;
have a read of a most remarkable and resilient woman and at the top there is a link of a way to help... Let's all show EE how warriors of gentle spirit can band together and
STOMP
"I think you might want to subscribe to that blog as well"~

So then,
for today,
I hope you will join me in throwing something back/forward
and
have the best weekend after Turkey day
ever!
It's beginning to look a lot
like
Christmas, but I still have turkey in the fridg...
Oh I think I'm about to tire of turkey
...

You may want to also visit
to see what KellyTwoWolves is making for those Christmas one of a kind gifts! She is doing some awesome work and wintering with her 4-legged in Iowa this year..

I hear that our warrior Chris is still reading here,
I have many asking about her,
but
after being seized on her computer I've been told she is fearful of posting on her computer...
Chris we think of you often
and many ask of you and for you!
><

For all our other warriors
YOU are thought of fondly
and
often!

STOMP

BE gentle with you,
take best care of you.
