Imagine that! One of the most important things I have learned here is that I do not need to spend half my pension and live on rice and beans and wear socks with holes...in order to pay shaman/shamanic practitioners to find my totems. You do not even need to buy anything...you can draw your own animal! So...I will spend the rest of my day drawing and talking with my animal spirit. On the other hand...I still have not figured out a way to have people to talk to without paying them. We keep hearing about balance...and yes, we do have 2 ears and only one mouth...but are we really supposed to go for days and days with no one to speak to except plant & animal guides? I'm grateful I have them and they, as well as this blog are free.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1290433898412362561.post-77321182598398462372010-01-06T09:59:15.937-05:002010-01-06T09:59:15.937-05:00It does seem like the themes of the blog/book seem...It does seem like the themes of the blog/book seem to be balance and self-care. These are both extremely challenging and do require small baby steps. Sometimes one step forward and several steps back. At the end of day, if we have a roof over our head, clothes on our body, food in the fridge, and heat in our house...I guess that is "enough."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1290433898412362561.post-60130686547807026132010-01-06T06:34:43.901-05:002010-01-06T06:34:43.901-05:00Very informative & interesting blog this chill...Very informative & interesting blog this chilly
A.M. in the south.
I love the awareness of my personal totems.
I recommend the book Animal Speak.
Thanks, Sherry, will keep eyes & heart open !

Stay warm !Irenehttp://aol.comnoreply@blogger.com
