Coffee's On, Enjoy your day ...

May this be a day filled with grace, beauty
and feelings of rejoicing all the blessings in your life.
A day that is that is yours to take best care of
YOU
while finding the strength to remember that you are your most precious resource
in finding ways to better fill you up as we realize the impact of others on us,
to shield ourselves from the negatives that we take in and take on from others, from situations, from exposure to the hardships, the pain of others that we care for, that we love, that we bear witness to in day to day dealings with and that we absorb stories at times on a cellular level and is cumulative.
Find ways friends to count and re-count your blessings and to purify your and restore yourselves, to take breaks from the influx of news, of what is heard, what you want to do to help and what you do that is helpful over time and even what is frustrating!
Remember you in all that is done, is being done as you move into celebrations of self and others.
On this day, find beauty to purify that you have taken on this week as you prepare for the upcoming weeks, a new month
and honor space and time to recharge and heal within.
Enjoy sunrises, sunsets, flowers that bloom and the winged ones, the swimmers, the crawlers and 4 leggeds,
notice their balance their beauty
their ability to weather the storms as they prepare and gather.
REjoice Dance and nourish your soul.

Prayers going up for all who gather here

Harvest Moon Tonight, Yep a FULL MOON

This is a photo I took in Tarpon Springs as the sun was setting after a storm brought a double rainbow!
That reflection and sight just took my breath away as I stood there,
and tonight will take the breath of many as they look up to see the brightness of
the Harvest Moon!
After that ole sunsets and darkness begins to fall once again we will see the moon rise in fullness, yet it will be brighter, it will be fuller and it will indicate the Harvest Moon once again, shining so brightly that farmers used it as a way to gather their crops now that the darkness has come earlier as the light has changed once again and work was still left to complete before calling it a day!
Many commuters will still be in traffic as that moon rises, many will be heading out to enjoy their weekends while others will be waiting to gaze at its fullness and its brightness.
We've already been seeing the fullness, witnessing those effects around the lands, in the feelings, emotions, tides and in the air.
The full moon surely has a pull on people, animals and every thing doesn't it?
Change is in the air;
and a full moon brings it all out in every living thing as well as the tides that roll in and roll out.
It reminds us of the upcoming time changes when we "fall back" yet we don't do that until
November 4th this year.
Yet the dark months are upon us and tonight we will light up the sky with that big ole' moon, and many will get a chance to glimpse its beauty and brightness all over the skies!
I can only imagine those that are also just hoping this moon will soon be a memory as I've already heard of ER's, hospices and hospitals, clinics, caregivers suffering the effects of what is known as the full moon in all its madness as things ramp up in times of the "full moon".
We even see it in those we know; often suffering from mood changes, feelings of the churning tides of change and feeling unsettled that coincide with the moon and her phases and stages.
Rises and falls of emotions, of energy, of brightness and dreams.
Is it related?
Seems a theme and often revolves around the moon, perhaps we should consult the four leggeds, the swimmers, the crawlers, the winged ones...
Or just "sit with it" and look within.
Might just be a good day to dance in the wonder of it all, to celebrate the ones who are gathering crops under the full Moon of the harvest,
and to harvest our own yield of that which we have planted, watered, nurtured through the growing season as we now gather our resources for the dark months and the coming winter.
...
Oh Creator,
may we all remember to gather our resources well as we thank YOU for the many blessings that you provide, the tools you have given and the light that burns within each of us.
We have all that we need to heal, to be, to give to one another freely.
Thank you, wado, may you be free to rest as we do as we were taught, as we walk in beauty and share our bounty while gathering our resources under the light of the Harvest Moon and awakening to the fullness of our potential.
And So It is!
Walk in Beauty
We Walk In Beauty
We Are your Beauty.

...
Wishing you the grace and courage to look up and see above the rainbow at those powerful angels that are with you always.
...
Hope you get to see that
Full Moon tonight
Harvest Moon
a time to remember to gather your resources for the coming season!
...
Blessings on the sun's rays to ya today
or

Points to Ponder

This little sign made me laugh outloud!
The little 4 leggeds barked and spun in circles looking at me as if we were having a party and they had just gotten the notice as I found myself laughing even harder reading it once again!
Points to ponder on nature and humans I thought, great points as I looked inside and saw the recumbent bike beckoning me to come and exercise, yet I was thinking of that long living tortoise and the poor hare I had just read about!
Oh a sign like that could put Richard Simmons off the shelves forever with dancing with the 60's music and those DVD's of how to have steel Buns in 6 weeks that folks love to lay on the couch and watch along with the Dr. Oz show telling us what to buy at the health food store and the grocery stores across the land.
And what of all the gyms in the nation, the newest fads for those tight abs and machines and such?
Once this little nifty news gets around, folks won't need to pony up the dough for personal trainers and fitness programs, finding ways to fit the time in, nor the pain for gain of the bodies that ripple and the look of anorexia that remains so popular on the runways!
Ah yes,
I'm liking that sign a lot, not so much for the bunny rabbit though.
It does make me wonder though, after all those big turtles have been around a long long time, and after all Creator built the world on the back of turtle.
Yes, points to ponder indeed;

So much so, that I just had to share if for those who beat themselves up daily when jumping on the scales and wondering where they went wrong after a good meal or glass of wine this week.
The problem with scales is this;
folks forget that they walk with guardian angels who often like to play games and tricks on them; often showing up right when they step on those scales and find a way to step up with them adding some extra weight as a joke!
If you lay on your back, place the scales on your feet that are now up in the air.
Carefully now, just balance there,
you will get a better idea of your weight.
the problem is that you have been doing this scale thing wrong all these years friends!
LOL
After all, yesterday was
National Pancake Day
and many probably stopped everything to go and get their stacks of cakes I'm thinking!
If only I had known.
Ah, but today is a new day,
a grand opportunity of each of us
to think like the big ole turtle,
to be slow and steady knowing that is what wins the race *(ultimately*)
as we stay the course.
Just as everyone now has this new knowledge of how to live their best lives
and to be more like the magnificent creatures that all shine in the Creator's eyes just as we do,
I'll also share with you that today
Is National Crush a Can day!
So my friends,
you can forget about those pancakes you forgot to eat on yesterday, and instead crush a can and get rid of a bit of frustration should it find you as you celebrate yet another silly day recognized in the wacky days of our world!
September is filled with them as this week we now can look forward to tomorrow Sept 28th;
when it is
National ask a stupid question day!
From the wacky to the bizarre it is,
Fall in all its glory here for the taking...
As we now approach the Harvest Moon she is already showing her fullness,
and people are also showing theirs,
moods are changing, strange stuff is happening, and folks are just off the hook around here!
Yep, some amazing things are being seen, discovered and not all in good ways I might just let you know.
So

how's things in your neck of the woods on this the pre-Harvest Moon?

We are almost to October, and continue to learn so much from the bushy tails, the crawlers, the swimmers, and the ones who fly..
Good luck with all that,
be careful there are human two leggeds walking amongst us.
Sept 29th Poisoned Blackberries Day
Sept 30 NATIONAL MUD PACK DAY

Nope didn't make this up!
And to think, all this in the week of the Harvest Moon...
Run friends, run...
Shake the trees for the nuts and please do not be surprised what falls out, or turns up missing during this gather season!
The squirrels are busy!

Proceed with caution
the Harvest Moon is on her way!
Now
LAUGH, Dance, get your roll on today
and know that
LIFE Is YOURS TODAY
Embrace this feeling of lightness and enjoy all that you can.
Smile at everyone you see so that they wonder
what in the world are you up to now!!!

Be well, be Blessed and take best care!

NFL COACHES> I have something for YOU!

Get ready Coaches across the NFL
it's getting close to Sunday, and I am hoping against hope that as you prepare your teams, as you ready yourselves all across our country...
YOU are taking care of your bodies and minds, and getting those arms AND shoulders of YOURS in shape.
Not only will your teams need to be on top of the ball, the latest moves, but YOU will need to be on top of it,
 So coaches,
START TODAY, find a way to get massages, get brain massages too, to get ready, and know that I feel ya, and I have what you need and can make more in a hot minute along with enlisting people across the country to help with this.
We can start a movement right here and right now.
I will add this to Twitter, I will put it on Facebook, I will shout it from the Mountain tops and the ocean sides.
Here is a gift from me to you,
it's only been used once
so it should fit your hand quite well,
do not lose it,
be prepared to USE IT
and Use it you will need to
as we have seen the defensive coach of Tampa have to again and again last Sunday
...
And I'm here to tell you coaches, do not hesitate as it might just save you from walking in that tunnel wanting to kill a zebra or two knowing that your day could have turned out completely differently.
So here ya go, from one who "gets it" and millions who care.
Yes, we will make more,
we will ship them overnight if need be,
cos' the way things are going
it seems this is who you will contend with on Sunday and we all know,
nothing good can come from this.
Coaches, we feel you
we are standing in the middle of living rooms and sports bars and in stadiums across the country screaming until we are hoarse
at the results of not only bad plays
but calls from the zebras that feel so good that they are in the lights and should be working at Foot Locker instead where the only mistakes made can be either returned or credited to an account.
Yet,
here we are, and folks are all jacked up,
so get those challenge flags in your pockets
and let me know if you need more,
I have about a thousand on hand to make more with me and drive them to you all over the country in time for Sunday
where we all are hoping to see
real men in striped shirts with experience along with real football played.
But so far,
not real sure that can happen with those clowns and their calls.
Hit Me Up coaches,
I'm here for you,
therapy via phone for the players
challenge flags can be made
...
Those look like the real deal
remember what it looks like?
...
'again'
I'm here if ya need me
and just saying
what has been done is over,
but what is to come largely lays in the hands of those with bucks once again
to make things right,
until then
get your arms ready and those red flags handy, I'm thinkin you are going to need them
Coaches.
...
What if the Packers get right to the Super Bowl and lose by that one game that was lost by that one miserable call?
Not that I am a Pack Rat or anything, but wouldn't that just be a tragedy as one ref stood making a sign of nope as the other made a touchdown sign and they looked at each other wondering where was Curly, since only two of the stooges were together?
...
And we wonder why fans and players get mad or fight on the field and on their way home.
...
Even the President and his opponent weighed in on that game, now that just is amazing don't ya think?
Just keepin it real
....

To all here,

Give me that old timey "Kindness"

Ah, remember those days at the county fair,
days when folks walked around and kids rode on ferris wheels and things that went round and round while others caught up on the news of town, and kindness was seen all over the place?
Corn dogs, hot dogs, bottle of pot and a pack of nabs, while trying to win at games, and spending time with those that just were thrilled at just about everything?
I miss back then.
When people and their laugh would override taxes and times of struggles were shared yet hands joined together to raise monies and to raise cane too, as people stood as one
on fields and in homes of sorrow and good times with kindness and together.
They would bring food to the family of one who was sick, or the home of those who had suffered loss, or even when there was no bad thing, just maybe hard times along with grand times
and sit at the table together in kindness and fellowship.
And oh those county fairs and gathers, even block parties with no threat of gangbangers or violence erupting, times were safer, times were kinder.
People had good times, the music was good, the kids were safer, the laughter was spontaneous
even if times were tough, and the money was tight or someone was out of work or ill.
Those Elders were a part of it all, they were revered, they were pulled up out of wheel chairs and held tightly to enjoy the dance, the music the gathers just as the little ones were.
It was a time of Kindness.
It was a time of knowing that life is precious
and smiles were easier to see.
I miss back then.
Ferris wheels can still be seen, the go round and round, yet the thrill is not the same, the joy is not quite as joyful as back then, as you see folks running from one to the next looking for what is grander, what is better, often forgetting to embrace the what is and who they are with at that very moment.
Kindness is not seen quite so much, as others rush by, seldom speak, and often don't seem to know each other. You don't see as many Elders, the music has changed, the kids are not with the adults as much, yet spend more time worrying about where they are and if they are safe now.
Times always change, people change,
but
kindness is one thing that never has to.
It can if we choose be ingrained, be taught to stay, be insisted on.
Just this week I listened as a Mom told her 12 year old, "we must always say I love you and kiss and hug before you leave for school, we must always do this. God forbid anything should ever happen but we must always start and end our day with a hug and I love you." How refreshing to hear that is still being said, still being practiced and instilled in our children and the importance being stressed.
It helps people to know and a reminder of the preciousness of life along with kindness and it's very power of the day, to be felt and held in the heart, body, spirit throughout the day.
Survival tools for growth, spiritual tools for being a better person when away from the sanctity of home and meeting with others out in the world; knowing you are valued, you are loved and that kindness is a core value in interactions.
As we teach our children, we instill the ways that they live their lives and listen to their inner voices.  There is no need to ever raise our voices at children; it diminishes them and it diminishes our own words by making us less than kind.
The only time our voices needs to be raised is when we sing, when we holler from the tops of mountains and rejoice in great refrains
or plunge into the ocean and emerge refreshed
or sit at the top of a ferris wheel and are amazed at the view!
Have you ever had one of those mouth watering funnel cakes at a fair, covered with powdered sugar and just wanted to squeal like a pig with delight?
And when you had that awesome funnel cake did you have them to put "whipped creme on top" just hoping you didn't have to be kind enough to share it?
LOL
Kindness is never out of style even if it seems
"old timey"
it is one of the finest virtues of humankind!
One of the grandest things in the world I'm thinking is to extend kindness and to also pay it forward with each step you take.
Sometimes I still get so tickled with life that it is all I can do to contain myself!
Call it the kid in me, call it crazy, or just call it
ME
but life is so very precious,
I just hope I am around a long long time to enjoy each moment, each antic, each glimpse of wonderment, each moment that kindness brings joy!
Oh yes,
to be able to see a
"clap clap clap" and to do my own
over random acts of kindness
and deliberate steps based in kindness
may feel like something that is now
out of vogue
or "old timey"
just give me that
old timey kindness every time
it's good enough for me!
...
And on that note,
I will tell ya,
there are some powerful and most beautiful angels walking here amongst us,
yes there sure are.
Dressed like ordinary people,
walking their walk, talking their talk and living their lives
when out of the blue,
they just lean in and say or do something
that makes you just sit back and
"clap clap clap"
knowing once again,
you have just been in the presence of an angel
or have just heard that one touched someone in ways that make you once again know
life is truly wonderful
and
dreams come true.
...
Thank you angel walking for your kindness and your gentle caring.

The Dogs Are Dancing into Monday! Are YOU?

Time to get your
Monday Dance on!
After your laid back weekend maybe
like the 4 leggeds here?
That is Patches on her side just "chillin" and of course our Jeepers,
showing us how to lay in his bed
with his souls showing!
haha
This of course was AFter the NASCAR fun run around the pool and they had to "chill" while little Gypsy was still on the run with a monkey in her mouth doing the "bark" which still amazes me!
Dogs are just amazing to me, they amuse, and delight and often will find the bark of bark to irritate and make ya wonder what in the world can they possibly hear that I don't.
Jeepers has a way of running you out of your chair, and having you love on him until your hand becomes numb.
He of course wants you to understand fully that he was born to love and will let you know when he has had enough!
Now Kamryn calls him "his sweet dog" which will prompt a fast visit from Sandy next door when she sees that on Facebook to claim him once again as "her dog" as he runs to take his place in her lap while the others look on.
Gyspy will wag her tail and yet not allow the loving unless Sandy sits on the couch and then allow her to love on her with such kindness and care!
They are funny little creatures indeed.
And last week our Jeepers developed that awful sounding "hacking cough" and we could tell he was not feeling well.
Of course it happened over the weekend, and got its worse after Vet hours here.
As we listened and watched we feared it to be the "kennel cough" symptoms" of bronchitis often showing up in little ones.
And oh how I dreaded that vet bill that happens when you walk in the door and then walk out with antibiotics and shots given.
The other two were fine, only Jeepers was not well it seemed and when he was in his bed, when he was in my lap still he was fine.
Yet, the moment he got up, the moment he moved the "hack hack dry cough began".
...
By Saturday evening, I had researched old remedies and found one and its variations and we figured can't hurt, might help.
Good we had just had white rice/chicken for dinner as we had leftovers!
...
We took 1/3 garlic glove for each baby, put it with broth and cooked it, then added it to the rice and chicken and threw it in a blender.
After it was pureed we added it to some of his dog food and pureed that too into a small amount.
Put that in a little bowl and while he was on my lap I held that little bowl and oh was he one happy Jeepers as the other two looked at me wondering where were their goodies, he lapped it all up.
NOW
here is the greatest news.
...
Jeepers has not coughed since then!
...
It was like a magical elixir I tell you, and yes I gave the other two a little over their doggie food just for a treat.
Garlic breaths all around here.
BUT
the healing properties in that ole remedy did the trick and Jeepers is back to his old self now, playing and having the best of times
with NO cough.
Oh happy day!
...
A quick call to the vet this morning to see if I needed to bring him in and letting him know of how bad the cough was, the remedy used and his resulting comments of
"I don't see any reason to bring him in"
validated my feelings that
we can heal ourselves and each other with what we have sometimes.
...
And today?
Gypsy has been barking her bark of
"something is happening and I'm all over it"
with monkey in her mouth as she runs to the edge of the lanai, as she lets us know in the quiet that something is happening!
I have looked and looked as I assure her we are all good here!
I have to laugh as the Monday dance is on,
and then out of the blue I see the lawnmower, here the sounds and oh my goodness
the 4 leggeds are having a ball with the refrains of
"seee we told you"
...
How do they know these things before they happen?
This is Gypsy with the leg of Blue Monkey as she is trying to tell me
something is happening here pay attention
it is
MONDAY!
But then
when our pal John hit the back yard on that riding lawn mower,
OH MY
can a little one bark with a big monkey in her mouth while running,
I sure hope you can see the joy!
 Moral of the story?
Even when something is bigger than you,
go with it, run with it, dance with it
and enjoy every minute of it!
Oh boy she will need water and a big ole' nap with the others soon,
Monday entertainment has about done her in!
Life with the 4 leggeds and if only we could look and see ourselves through the eyes of our dogs, as they look at us with such love, such fun, and such joy!
...
IF only we could get so excited at the day, the sounds and the drop of a leaf!
Dance friends, it's the beginning of something new today.
YOU can run around with your favorite thing and shake your head with fury
even if just in your mind,
having the best of times
if
you want to!
Oh my, there she goes again,
too bad this doesn't show the fast pace she and monkey are on as she is managing to bark, run and hold that big monkey in those little teeth!
If she can do it,
surely we can!
...
Blessings to you all
from me and mine.
