Friends and A Splash of Water

Good mornin Monday!

Sunday was a grand day, with friends, water, music and the Eagle soared...

It just doesn't get any better

than that.

Good friends, brilliant sun,

great music

and

add Water with a grand splash

and oh boy are you there!

Your mind can go blank, your worries washed clean and your heart bouyant,

imagining yourself the dolphin

or the Eagle that soars overhead.

For just as the water

washes it all away

you are free

and

all is well in your world.

Ah,

what a wonderful way to begin a new week with the images of such splendor fresh in your heart and head,

the laughter of the dolphin,

its smooth skin and beautiful knowing eyes

as they reveal the soul.

Dolphins are just like that it seems

always captivating us

making us want more of them.

They are such gentle and loving creatures of great intelligence and spiritual connection.

Close your eyes once you've read this and just imagine...

Jumping into the coolness of the water,

then find yourself surrounded by the dolphins

as they chatter with you,

dance with you

and

let you know of the wonder of the Universe.

A world without judgment,

or

stress.

Ah yes, Sunday was a day to be a dolphin, to soar with the eagles

to be human with friends and hear the sounds of laughter and to sing with abandon

New Day New HP Mini!

New HP MINI

I'm back in business!

Oh my what a quiet home I'm in

now that the family left to head back to Virginia.

The vacation now

ended

new memories are etched in the hearts of all,

and

we did it all

with exception of the boat

and that the weather kept us from!

Oh how these boys are growing

and changing

and

growing~

Speaking of changing and growing,

have you noticed

how the plants, the trees and flowers

just love this heat and summer weather?

Oh my talk about change and growth!

I am continually amazed

how the grasses grow

and

these flowers are just brilliant in color

and glory.

The hibiscus are producing such remarkable blooms this year

and the butterfly flowers

are calling out all the butterflies

to dance and be joyous for everyone

to behold.

It's the little things that can bring such joy

and

we watch such marvelous change

and

growth by the moment if we just sit and admire it.

Life is such a gift to enjoy.

So much to witness and see

all around us.

I wish you enough today

may you enjoy each breath!

I guess D'Vante and Kamryn are enjoying life in Virginia

and

COB is recovering from them while enjoying her alone time at the New River.

Here at home,

it is quiet and enjoyable, and the 4-leggeds are still unsure if Kamryn will jump out from behind the couch to scare them half to death!

Just a day to grin

Kamrn has a new

HAWK

new bling in his ears

and

new Jordons' on his

big ole' size 8 feet.

Meanwhile

D'Vante has

a new hair trim that is "fresh"

a rite of passage

tattoo,

another first with his Godmother

and

is looking great as this summer visit comes to an end

and he will soon be entering his

senior high school last school days

in the fall.

Cob's leg is healing well

thanks to the gifted surgeon who has tended to her care.

The four leggeds have endured Kam's taunts and teases

and

of course this summer

the Godmother has

served notice

and

is the champ of the wii bowling ...

sometimes one just has to grin,

as meanwhile the trusted little computer

is losing ke_s left and right

and all the favorites i might just add.

but

is best to grin than to capitalize or to use

exclamations or question marks i guess

when one has to.

I love it when folks grin; it just tickles me.

The kids have great grins, both with dimples that I think I gave them when the_ were real little, and oh what loved dimples both have.

and

of course those dimples get them in trouble at times, are mischievous at times

and

can catch them in a fib or a lie in a hot minute.

Maya Angelou has a great quote on grins,

and I will leave all with that for

The wonderful World of Computers

D'Vante Last Year

when he received the surprise of his life...

HIS IMAC

4 months later it had lines all over the screen and troubles, that now are resolved thanks to COB

and a talented service person on computers.

me... not so lucky i'm thinkin since returning from my trip, I have managed to finally wear out my trusty little HP computer.

I found that I was no longer able to use my ever so loved question mark, then no exclamation mark. wow how could i do my "thang" when using messenger to my good friend, or even here with flair,

but

then it got worse,

I decided to "pop" the key off and clean it.

Oh boy was that a mistake

as then there was no putting it back on.

That night,

bam

I found I could do nothing

and pulled out the new and improved lap top

and

ohhhh no woe is me,

it would not allow me to get on and then

BAM

no computers would work

after the storm.

I was

computer less and lost here.

NO BLOGS

NO COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD

Good that Stuart and Sandy are back

and

that Stuart here to tell me

I really messed up by removing that key,

along with

"you have worn out this little computer you know".

yep

needed to hear that I did.

As for the new and wonderful laptop

well the diagnostics are still running still last night

and oh my

at least by bed time

he got my "you've worn it out" to type a bit here..

What did we ever do before these trusty little computers came along I ask .. without now a question, parenthesis, or other keys that appear to be wearing out by the minute...

I will miss this little HP mini though

it has my fingerprints etched in it,

after all

Healing Heartaches was typed on it,

many an email has been typed here,

and many a laugh shared.

How can anything this little remind me so often

that I know just enough to be dangerous

when it does not work properly

rather reminds us of life

in some ways.

As soon as we are confident

and take it for granted

it changes

and makes us uncertain

about things.

So then

for today

enjoy all

it is amazing the differences of thoughts, of moods in youngsters,

of communication styles

and

ideas.

stay up late, get up and watch the everchanging landscape from within

is remarkable at times.

Sunday Blessings to ALL today`

Sunday Thoughts

 FOR all our warriors here

Many will be up and at em today, starting their day with goin to see a sunrise, or perhaps going to church in their finest.

Some will gather and notice those who are missing, while others will gather with friends and family and laugh and share good or great times.

Still others will revel in the quiet even during times of being together with others

the silence will be ok, it will be comforting and peaceful.

And yes, there will be others who will fuss or fight or be what is called

passive aggressive

and ugly

and find things to fuss or be angry about

and

"stir in it"

hoping to start something

just because ...

While forgetting

or perhaps not caring

that

we have but this day

that we are blessed with

and

after all

this day is a rare gift

to get it right

perhaps the mistakes we made yesterday...

Perhaps

we got "all jacked up" over a situation or circumstance

and

that really had no power or significance

but we allowed it to,

and

then

it blew out of proportion

leaving pained places, and those memories

are now imprinted on the nervous systems

and in the heart.

At some point those same situations

will cause us to look back and wonder,

was it all worth it

and why in the world

did we give room in our heads to such negativity

and waste a day or an hour in ways

that were less than loving.

So again

the thoughts are clear

along with the message of this Sunday...

WE HAVE THIS DAY

to get it right

to enjoy, to eat, to be in awe of our world

our selves

our friends and families.

DO NOT BLINK

remember our Ancestors,

those who have gone before us

and

know this:

To embrace this precious thing we call

LIFE

is truly

amazing

and

is a choice

we were given

by the

Creator/God

that lives within each of US.
