Sometimes ... somedays...

Sometimes, somedays it just takes a lot of hands... a lot of feet to move things. If not in real time, in your mind, your spirit, your visualizations. With that many hands you can move a mountain or those obstacles that may "pop up" in a day, a moment, a thought. Imagery is a great tool it allows you to move the mountain sometimes. Somedays we all need that; it helps us along when the path is difficult or an unexpected hiccup happens along the way.

Some days are just like that it seems. MOUNTAIN MOVE OUT OF MY WAY becomes the mantra of the day. It beats the hell out of cowering in the corner or feeling great defeat!  There are those days when a good book, a great movie and a couch or good for the soul though. It is the balance that matters along with the recognition that life can sometimes throw some unexpected hiccups along the way.

If you give time to sadness one must also give time for gladness. In that same vein we must also give time for those hiccups, those moments in time when the "sometimes and somedays" just wear on our nerves or leave us shaking our heads at ourselves, others, or situations that just are. It is then that images of Holding up the sky are helpful, many hands involved in helping whether real or imagined. Many voices along the way blowing the horn using a shared breath to get the word out... spreading the news.

The Moccasin Telegraph (word of mouth if you will) can travel far, reaching to lands and states and the Universal Oneness that connects us all. In good times in bad times, in times when nothing else can.

Sometimes, somedays ... everyone has them good bad or indifferent.

MOUNTAIN MOVE OUTTA MY WAY. A mantra that everyone can use when those days come in. Remembering that feelings are feelings and they will pass or be transformed by YOU.

somedays are diamonds, somedays are coal.  Sometimes a person has to work has to find the shine in order to realize the diamond was there all along.  somedays, Sometimes folks just have to get out of their own way in order to know the difference.

 SHINE ON, be brilliant, be as awesome as you desire in ways that are uniquely yours.

Pepples in my pocket, sand on my feet

There comes a time when we need to embrace the now, the realization that sometimes it is the pebbles in our pockets, the sand on our feet that nurtures our very being. That being said as the cold months are finding their way to us; the devastation of tornadoes that have left many in shock in Illinois, Ohio, and surrounding areas, we extend our greatest thoughts and prayers today. May they find the strength to stand strong as they regain their balance with the help of their brothers and sisters around their regions.
Prayers going strong from here to there and all around for those in need.

Pebbles, shells in a pocket will give an opportunity to quiet the mind, to reflect on the beauty that is always within the hands reach. Standing with your feet in the sand reminds you of the ever shifting landscape, the importance of core strength, balance in all things important, in the very choices that are being made 24/7.  Whether in sand, on land, on the Creators earth... that core strength must be attended to, it must be fed, nurtured, and often it must be re balanced in order to be at its finest.

May you stand strong today, may you sit tall, stretch into your week with all that you have within you to be more than you imagined yesterday.

May you find all that you need for gratitude, kindness, awesomeness that lives within you during the storms, in the morning light and the darkest of nights.

May you know you are never alone.

Rainy Saturdays time to relax

It's a day of R A I N here in the sunshine state... while I've read that across the lands the cold has moved in in places, snow has fallen in some, winds are whipping around in KS, and blowing hard in CO... It just might be a great day to snuggle in, find a good movie or a good read while taking good care of YOU on a day like this day. Here the rain is beating in those downspouts like an old friend on a drum as the little 4 leggeds are nestling in like old man winter with their sleep on!

They are funny little ones, demanding that I get up with the light only then to stay awake long enough for me to get my coffee before finding their place to get sound asleep... as if saying, "oh ok she is awake, time for sleep."  Jeepers is now walking on all 4 feet once again, his recovery seems almost complete... what a long month it has been for him. thank you all for the thoughts, the prayers and emails asking about him.

 Down the Hallway the story of one woman's journey with Dissociative Identity Disorder is now available in 13 countries with Amazon~ I am tickled to pieces with that news. There is even a review now on Amazon Italy... I have great hopes that there will be great things in store for Down The Hallway as we move into months ahead, more have written with their thoughts after and during reading it. The reviews are all incredible to me, they are awesome.

We all have those times when we can only imagine making an imprint on the life of another, making a difference in some way.
There are times when we may be thanked for something, times when our heart gets touched in gratitude, or when we hope to inspire maybe. This clip made my heart explode. (I can and have been able to see Whoopi playing me in the Movie #DownTheHallway since the beginning of writing it)...

Tune IN Tune UP Today to LIFE

It's "tune UP Time Thursday"! We've all heard the old saying, if you keep your car tuned up, oil changed it will keep you on the road. Sounds simple right? Many seem to think that they only need to put gas in the car and it will run forever, forgetting those simple and needed tasks in order to maintain the car they drive. Simple indeed... treat the car well, you won't be stranded on the side of the road! Tune up, regular oil changes and that car will take you where you want or need to go.

Same for each of you, but oh what trouble folks seem to have with that concept. Tune UP FOR LIFE, with regular care, compassion, kindness and notice the change in the quality of your life. Folks are much better at caring or looking to others, defending others than they are for taking care of or tuning up themselves!

It takes desire, time, mindfulness to "tune UP for your own life", your own mission, your own passion in order to be your best self for others. On this Terrific Thursday, it's a great day to shift your focus and change your state. Time to think about "tuning up, tuning in for life... YOUR LIFE.

Just as a fine instrument is cared for, the sound soothes, moves others to tap their feet or get up out of their seat, you too can do that with increased attention to your soul, your body, you own nervous system. Give yourself an oil change, a tune up, a tune in if you will. Make you as important as you make others, stand UP for you with kindness, compassion, excitement and imagination. Get creative, be fluid in your movements with each breath as you remember,

 Sing loud, dance hard, be all the joyous wonder that you can create for yourself in order to be more than you ever dreamed possible.

Tune UP for your life, make it a priority, you are worth it! Listen to music, play music, be the music that fills you up, tunes you up, stands you up.

Write down some tips of things that make you feel in tune with your world, things that make you feel good all over more than anywhere else. Refer to it when you feel less than how you want to feel. Remind yourself often that you want "more", and go for it.
Maintain grace, embrace enthusiasm, anticipate good things like a kid in a candy store.. BELIEVE, HOPE, DREAM, DANCE, SING

 Work to remember, you have all you need within you to reach for all that you desire that lives outside of you. Tune IN and Tune UP Today.

Take best care of you, be kind to you, be outrageous courageous and laugh a lot.

Optimism, it's the best...

When you sit with the above picture for a bit; you realize that even when you are on your back, you have a great view... Those optimists, it's at time the best way to see life! The view can be amazing, the sights like no other even if laying flat on your back. An optimist will find the good, will put on those rose colored glasses while telling you of color on a cloudy day. The silver lining might just be seen before anyone else has looked up.

Some will say the turtle has it made; they can just pull their head in and be right at home. The T.v,. bowl of popcorn all just a head move away from them after moving steady and slow through their destined path. Wherever they go, there they are!

One doesn't have to see the glass half full, half empty in regards to optimism. An optimist can just cup their hands together with gratitude while knowing they will hold all that they need to drink well. They can just be, be in the moment and be all that they are. Just as you tend to your garden, you tend to your soul, your heart, your mind. We cultivate optimism with great gratitude.

We are only limited by our imaginations by the ways we live our lives, work our dreams, live our dreams, chase our rainbows in making possible what others say is impossible. All that is needed is all that is within each person in their own light, their own unique way.  Plant seeds, cultivate your inner garden well, tend to it as it allows you to bloom with radiance. Just BE........

 or not, it's truly up to each individual what they feed in their body, soul, mind and spirit.

As for me, and those I spend my time with? I choose kindness, powerful moments, optimism, keepin' it real and knowing that all the colors are scattered here there and everywhere. All those colors just waiting for me to pick up and draw all over life with, my way!

Thank you to ALL WHO SERVE, Veterans Day

Thank YOU ALL, To our Veterans today, this Veterans' Day and all days, thank YOU, "Salute".

 As we take this day to say "thank you" to our Veterans, to those who have and are serving; may we also extend gratitude to them each day for the sacrifices being made as they sign their name on a blank check that never expires paying for the freedom of each of us while knowing it could cost their lives, their comfort, their freedom in doing so.We thank you, we thank your families, your friends, your brothers and sisters in uniform.

Today there are events, parades, speeches across the soils of our lands. Honoring our Veterans.
The U.S. military's first female four-star general will be a grand marshal at New York City's Veterans Day Parade. Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody retired last year after a 37-year Army career. Flags will be flying, the marching will be seen as people stand by to wave their flags and scream for our Military voices being heard.

Meanwhile, there will still be Veterans waiting for care in VA hospitals, those wondering if their benefits will ever come through, those who are now diagnosed with PTSD and wondering how to make it back into the world they left for war. WE as a country are preparing for holidays as our Military continues in war, sleeping in bags while someone holds weapons and are on the ready, prepared at all times for the worst of times. Some of those Veterans are right in your neighborhood, sitting in or on the street, unable to find housing or a job, they are now called Homeless, no parade, no Salute.

A hot meal, an odd job offering could be just the thing with a "thank you for your service" to restore self pride and respect.

It is Veterans day. For those who did not sit in their home playing video games called "Black Ops" but were defending our freedoms in real time as we slept safely in our bed. Parades are happening, wreaths are being laid, honoring ceremonies are taking place today. Hospices are pulling out the stops and making special events for those in their communities who have served, as are Nursing Homes, hospitals and others. Special deals are being had for Veterans in restaurants, at shops for free meals, coffee and donuts. It is a day of respect, of gratitude and honoring all who have served our Great Country.

A time to put all else aside, and say "THANK YOU FOR SERVING".

Thank you Veterans. "Salute"
