Let Us Honor the Fallen in Boston

If you are like me, you didn't get much sleep last night, you woke up today still in dismay of the events yesterday that erupted near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The senseless acts of evil that exploded on a day of great fun for the thousands that had prepared, had arrived from all over the globe to participate in an annual Marathon, and to run their race. Being encouraged by friends, loved ones, and to RUN their race on a sunny day.
Many were running for Newtown CT, in memory of those lives lost there not too very long ago, a result of wonton murder and plain out meanness evil.
Let us honor the Fallen and give great thanks to the first responders of yesterday, the braveness of those who jumped into high speed and gear to respond, to act, and were at the ready there in Boston as they received such carnage and horror on our soils once again.

Let us pray for not just Boston, but for all of America who sat and are now exposed to the graphic photographs of those injured beyond imagination as they were in shock being attended to; those without the same precious limbs that were carrying them to the finish lines, those who were standing and screaming with delight for others in unity just minutes before the unthinkable happened, on our soil.

Let us bow our heads or hit our knees or scream our rage on behalf of the precious lives lost yesterday, and those who are struggling to live today, innocent people who were having a great day and it all changed in seconds by bombs that were intentionally set to kill and maim on a sunny day leaving behind fear, pain, devastation for those there and those of us all over the place who now have those images seared in our minds as the news media and hate groups all blame, shame and run their mouths boosting their agendas.

Let us honor the fallen and those who are standing United on our lands while wanting swift justice and answers and are willing to stop the violence and the hate.  Let this be the wake up call that lets party lines be wiped out and one united America stand up.

The same week of the Oklahoma City Bombings anniversary we now have this in Boston; yes it brings back those tapes of vulnerability, of  tremendous sadness, pain and grief reactions; it brings back the uncertainty in our world and issues of safety as we move into our day. It brings back the sunny day of 9/11 and the day our world stood still and also the movement of an America standing United as Americans during times of crisis. If America can stand united during those times, surely we can stand that way all times, all ways and ban/banish the evil that commits random acts of violence that we now hear of daily.

Yes let us honor the fallen in Boston; the memories of Oklahoma City, Newtown, 9/11, and the many others that should have served to teach us well how to treat others that we know as fellow people on our soils, our brothers and sisters.

Let us honor their lives and deaths by changing our views, our minds on how we live our lives, what we are willing to tolerate, the things that divide us and stand for reason and for moral and right way relations.

IF domestic/foreign terrorism is behind this; it is time for action; swift justice. IF an individual is behind this; it is time to let everyone in the world know that we have zero tolerance for acts of evil and of violence.
IT is time to honor our fallen with respect and the promise that we will never let this happen and we recognize that each within us is valued.

As we pray for Boston, we pray for each other and the impact of yesterday. People across the globe are now devastated I do believe, but what I know is our children are once again fearful of going out of the house...
STAND UP
and honor the fallen while thanking the first responders.
Please limit your exposure to news media, to social media and the things that may evoke vicarious trauma.

I pray that those who are blaming or already with the conspiracy theories will stop long enough for the facts all of reality, and for the person responsible to feel the full effects of justice.

I think that what you posted was actually very logical.

However, consider this, what if you typed a catchier post
title? I am not saying your information is not good., but suppose you added a post title that grabbed people's attention? I mean "Let Us Honor the Fallen in Boston" is kinda vanilla. You might peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they create post headlines to grab
viewers interested. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get people
interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it might make your blog a little bit more interesting.
