HAPPY 1ST DAY OF THE NEW YEAR~
2014
That ball dropped as "gazillions" watched, as folks were dancing in the streets, folks were probably dancing in the waters in places where it was warm and beautiful, as folks were nestled in the warmth of homes and others were sleeping... It's the day of NEW BEGINNINGS, newness in the air, in the hearts, in the learning to write 201..4 .
Vacations are ending, the thoughts of decorations being taken down, kids returning to schools, and back to the grind. Resolutions have been made to shed 20 pounds in three days or three months and to do this or be that as the new year kicks off with the annual Rose Bowl parade. Some will be grabbing the shovels for the great find the sidewalk discovery today, others building snowpeople today, still others finding the local sports bar for the great day of football and perhaps a bite of the dog that bit them last night!
Oh what a day ... the first day of January in the newness of 2014.
The only limitations of this New Year I can see so far are the ones that folks will place on themselves, creativity will come in handy in a world that at times seems to have gone mad! May your creativity, your humor, your sensitivity towards others take you into the new year with amazing grace.
It's time for the newness of the new YEAR...
May you find opportunity, happiness, prosperity, and all that you dare to dream as you work your plan.
