SUPER MOON Alert, get ready

Friends get ready,
there's a
Perigee or
SUPERMOON
coming on May 5th
that well may be worth a gaze and a howl!
I've been saying for days that there must be one fine full moon on its way,
and sure enough this one is due to be quite amazing.
It has come to my attention that a young man who has a FACEBOOK PAGE
by the name of
Thomas O'Brien
has been diagnosed with cancer.
A request has been made for folks to request to 'friend him' on facebook,
to send him thoughts and prayers as he now fights this awful disease.
Soldier Thomas O'Brien
has fought for our country,
and
now we can surround him with our
warrior strength of prayers, thoughts
and
if you have a facebook page,
take the time to let him know
WE ARE WITH HIM!
thank him for his service to our country
as he now battles this horrid disease out there in his home in Texas.
We are a powerful force here and everywhere this is read around our world.
STOMP
THANK YOU soldier for your service
we will stand by you
and pray that you have all you need now
in this battle.
CANCER SUCKS.
...
I am still just shaking my head
laughing
and just amazed at the comments and love shared yesterday!
It's been a long time since so many have had such wonderful connections and taken the time to "just talk" here,
and
ohhh how I laughed and shared a dance, a tear and just outright had a ball reading all the thoughts shared this morning!
I now need a bookmark for my creds thanks to mamapatti/osh
and what a hoot that was
and honor to see all that 'witnessing'
I have to tell ya!
Let the music play on
and Ali I sure do hope you are feeling the connections and support there in SC!
YOU all are the "bombdiggidity" and run with some powerful angels/warriors
you do!

Get ready to raise your heads, grab your cameras and get yourself ready...
The last supermoon was back in 1993, and I don't know about you, but I can't remember if I looked or not back then!
But here on the east coast for the best effects, take a look as it rises, or just before it allows that sun to rise for the best effects and optical illusions;
one way or the other it sure is goin to stir up the tidal waves and the nervous systems of the folks here;
we're already seeing the effects of it coming in thoughts, actions, behaviors!
Perigee Moon is sure to delight and amaze those who love the moon and the wonder of our skies.
One thing is certain, this moon will be a fine brush to paint the flowers, and add rich color to our world
as it is closer to us, we will be tempted to reach up and climb on top for a better view!
Known as flower moon to the Native Americans
this moon is going to just knock us off our feet.
Oh how I would just love to be laying on the grounds of the
Washington Monument to view it
can you even imagine?
Or on the beach... now that is even better I'm thinkin to see it from a boat out on the gulf waters with that reflection on the waters;
and oh wait, I can even see a dolphin or two jumping in the air to celebrate their joys and happiness with me at the sights!
Oh the imagination is at work today
and I'm grateful!
"Don't judge any wo/man until you have walked two moons in her/his moccasins." [Native American Saying]
So get ready friends,
the
SUPERMOON is making its way to you in just a few days!
So keep in mind... things are often a bit wavy and off kilter, oh ok... at times outright crazzzy
during times of the full moon, so don't be surprised if a SUPER moon intensifies all those things.

BREATHE, relax into it, and remember to take best care of you.
Let the MUSIC PLAY ON
friends
and please don't rent out space in your head to others
that is a high rent area!
Oh the wonderment of the moon!
The gratitude of this day
and the gifts that are YOURS.

When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator." Gandhi"

Thank you warriors, for the incredible and wonderful comments of yesterday!
How wonderful to see our page come alive once again with interactions and support for
Ali and her Dad as they walk the journey together during this time of so much love, emotion, and others trying to say/do/tell "do it this way" in times of great heartaches
and stress.
She is feeling the power of connection and support
and
YOU are ALL AWESOME.

Sunday..

Wishing you
COLORFUL JOY
on a day where the weatherman is telling us to prepare of a
NorEaster on the Eastcoast!
The skies are again opening up, the winds are starting to howl while the spanish moss dances on the trees here.
Yep there is goin to be a drench filled day of that liquid sunshine it sure does feel and look it!

The rains have given us high wind and liquid sunshine and more is to come, I've heard where snow has graced some of the states and folks said, "well it is a delayed and welcomed wetness" in this spring of ours!
I'm lookin to the colors of those flowers to light me up today,
some great music to get my dance on, the 4 leggeds to entertain me with their boot scoot boogie,
and laughter to fill the air and hopefully dance on the winds!
AND
the update for all on that
MS 150 RIDE OUT IN THE LONE STAR STATE
where Laura is feeding Shauna and Dixie last night after day 1
with an over abundence of "carbs"
is this:
The girls rode 89 miles on day one!
Winds were gusting at 35 miles an hour, but ride they did to Cure MS!
this photo shows them as they were ready to start early yesterday morning!
They are now on the road;
RIDING TO CURE MS!
Laura will be at the finish line
more updates to follow!
"when you think you can't you must"

My thoughts and prayers goin up today for all that are riding to Cure MS, to those that are struggling, fighting battles and doing all that they can to reach out and help another.
The fire is lit, the sage is burning.
YOU are your most precious resource,
may you look within for truth, for strength, for all you need
to do all you must to find; joy, peace, freedom, power, hope, encouragement, light, faith, strength, kindness, laughter.

For:
Lyle Emerson and his family in Buffalo and little Kendra 3 years old who is fighting Lymphoblastic Leukemia,
Bernice Etsitty and the life of her son, gone too soon GARRETT JOE,
and all the children of all colors

Hello October 1

RADFORD HIGH SCHOOL
BOBCATS

Good morning
October 1
Here it comes, h/she did it again....
here comes the LIGHT of another day!
and
ohhh boy that Godson of mine
#51 da Beast, D'Vante
and
those Bobcats
were on the prowl last night
and sure did take that field
with some pride and purpose!
Looked and sounded like they were goin to just rip it up
with a shut out
but it ended out with a
38-13 victory!
CONGRatulations Bobcats!
FIERCE AND HANDSOME BUNCH
THEY ARE!!!
Kamryn was the "water boy"
now isn't that just great!!!
and to think
he is also a little Bobcat
and his team
won as well this week!

Now the Mom of those Godsons; cuz Angie... just got herself a new job up there and is soon to be the new DIRECTOR ANGIE at the Pulaski Rehab Center/Nursing facility... and don't you know that Director Angie of Activies is just about as happy as happy can be!!!
Congrats cuzzie!

Well friends...
here we are,
October 1, 2011
and you can tell be the air, the light, the overall everything out there
FALL IS HERE!

Are you ready for it?

It's time for the changes, the colors, the splendor...
The fields that were green are about to change to brown...
We are entering the dark months;
the light is changing, moods are changing.
and
if you've been reading the blogs this week
you can tell from the news
the comments of others
grief is heavy in the air
along with
"anger/frustration/bitterness/confusion/frustration"
><
It is the
changing season

TIME TO GATHER
your resources!

It is also a time of
great times
if you see all that is happening around communities!
From Octoberfests to pow-wows, to
MS yard sales!

Folks are "out and about"; getting or staying busy as the squirrels are busy "gathering what they need" for the dark and lean times to come.

It is
"the gathering season"

just as those who are grieving, those who are now dealing with the loss of
HOPE
those who are in pain
or
finding a path to voice
anger through advocacy
it is a time
to
"gather"
it is the "FALL" of the year.

It is also time to
"gather strength"
and
to
"re-charge your batteries"
to
"get your house in order"
in order
to take best care of
YOU.

As yesterdays' thoughts and message
"Lessons from HOPE"
continue to be learned;
remember
to
take best care of YOU
as
it is
"the gathering season".
Time to "gather your resources".
We could do well to learn from the 4leggeds;
to watch as they slow their heart rates down, to not get all "jacked up"; but rather to relax as we prepare to den for the winter.
Taking what we need to last us, cleaning up around us, preparing for ourselves and those we love and enjoying each moment
and watching the beauty as it unfolds around us today, right here right now as this day unfolds.
These squirrels sure are giving the little ones here a fit;
they run around gathering,
but they do take the time
to make fun of
Jeepers and Gypsy
to taunt and tease them from a safe distance
and then run the trees
and
I can't help but marvel at it all.
The butterflies continue their dance
around the flowers
as
if saying
"not here, it is not fall, nor do we care
just look at us".
The birds are singing their song
and
wondering I am sure if we as humans
are listening
or
are we appreciating what they have to say!
The North American Black Bears
are preparing to den for winter;
they are doing what wild bears do
and
their heart rates are slowing down
as they prepare
as they hunt for the "just right place"
it is in their control
not mine;
just as your home is yours
and
not mine.
It is the
"gathering season".

Gather well friends... enjoy all today and in the days to come, with
HOPE, FAITH, COMPASSION, JOY,
and
have yourself as much FUN as you can!

I hope if you are
"able"
you are OUT today
and
you are "gathering"
all that you need and want
to
make this a remarkable day
in
all ways for yourself
and
.....

I wish you enough
to
be all that you dare to dream.
I HOPE you dance today!
