On Integrity... and honor on a MONDAY across the globe ... yes IT Is MONDAY

Good morning Monday friends across the world!
Sometimes a post is too powerful, its lessons and message too strong to only leave for a day, it's prayers, hopes and healing ways too much to let another thought take it
and perhaps let it go too quick.
After it was read by my dear cuzzie Angie, and talked about with my beloved Godson by her; after she heard his "quick to react anger/opinion/attitude"
after he wanted to "rule" her day and that of his little brother:
my phone rang with a number I did not know;
so I answered in my usual way:
"Dr Showalter", .... (pause) then hearing a flat voice say, "this is Dvante" (pause)...
I said, "to what do I owe this occurance/pleasure of hearing your voice D'Vante?"
This is where you may want to sit down you coffee; men, women, coaches of VA TECH and across the globe:
My 17 year old Godson says:
"My Mom thought I should call"
(very long silence)
The Godmother reply: "REally... Really?, that is why you have called my number today?"
The heart of my heart 17 year old Godson who has disrespected me which is what the real issue is; then says:
"Yea, and I do NOT think I did anything wrong"

It is important to always
B R E A T H E

The Godmother who has loved him all of his life, has had his back even during those times he was not always right-side
replies:
"D'Vante, when YOU think it a good idea to call ME, when YOU have something to say to ME, when YOU can accept responsibility for YOU and act with INTEGRITY HONESTLY,
then perhaps YOU should think it a good idea to call me
and
then... perhaps WE can have a conversation.
Have a great senior year, a great football season.
Good-bye"
*click*
Let' see, where did I put that name, number of that pastor that my Godson says is the only "word" of God
he believes in or that matters to him
since he must be reading from a book that has been altered on respect of elders, of respect of all living things,
of honor
of the God which lives within us...
ah yes, and the coach of VA Tech, I know he reads this blog ...
Interesting the impact of one boy when the stone is thrown in hast into the river and the effects as it ripples out to so many...
the effects felt by all.
Not that this lesson along with wolf has not been taught mind you!

Monday Morning Message:
Children in Southwest Virginia are headed to school today, starting off a new year, (and perhaps across the country as well.)
Kamryn has told me last year, he is "ready/focused/excited"
and plans to hit that honor role!
Kids are excited in the most part; they are ready to see friends,
feel the structure and to learn
and heaven knows parents/grandparents, and the communities are ready as well!

Our children must be taught and held accountability, responsibility, kindness and
RESPECT.
If not now,
when?
Kam will hit 10 on Wednesday,
his fav Auntie Dot has already gifted him his
"off the hook IPOD" that he has dreamed about;
it is goin to be the best evah gift
I am told;
just as last year folks heard of D'Vante receiving his
IMAC from his Godmother;
his best and most surprising gift ever!
Kamryn was popping the bubble wrap in excitement for his brothers' excitement so loud as I was on the phone sharing the birthday that it was hard to hear
but
so thrilling to see the pictures that
Angie kept sending on the text
of the party going on
each so excited for and about D'Vante
and
his day
after they arrived at his favorite restaurant
only to find
"da Godmother had arranged from a distance a gift card sitting there to cover his/my family as they enjoyed the meal!"

Last night,
Angie and Kamryn returned from a day and evening with
COB, a day that they rejoiced in the greatness of each breath,
and
little Kamryn got an early birthday gift that he has wanted
so badly
to dance to the music and all that swagga stuff,
and
he returns to his big brother with glee and excitement
needing help to "download music"
AND
can u see where this is going?
D'Vante starts issues with his Mom
asking
"where is mine? that cost more than what I got from Dot/COB,
and otherwise, being his "ungodlike self"
in his balance and check
while wearing his
senior class ring that was given to him by
"none other than COB"
and will be wearing his
letterman jacket
this year?
Message for Monday?
Where is the dance for those celebrating
THEIR SPECIAL DAY
Dancing on the desk
because someone is getting a special recognition, a birthday gift,
a kindness extended to them
a hand that pats or arms that hug
where is
the compassion, the passion
the
Creator/God that lives within
and
yes friends
"I sure hope all are feeding the right wolf"
consistantly.
Please hold my cuzzie Angie UP in your prayers,
hold her up as she needs the strength to give the structure to her boys, and continue the teaching, to use
the necessary roughness that will bring out the kindness
that our world is aching for
and
that we see in so many youth
of which I have the honor to speak to at many events.
Wado!

Gotta run,
thinkin I'll go play with the dolphins in my mind today
thinkin I'll go surprise some little kid
and
do something kind for them today.

HOW bout YOU?

Kelly TwoWolves
"My Sissy"
Family of choice

I glanced at my Godson's wall on Facebook yesterday to see if he had posted any recent pictures of his
latest football practices of those
RADFORD BOBCATS
or
if there was any updates on his life
as
I don't hear much from him these days.
AND
there on his page
I see a message from my sissy
"Kelly TwoWolves"
renowned psychic, healer, and
my "adopted sissy" out in South Dakota!
A remarkable woman she is
and
I had to look twice when I read her words to my
17 year old D'Vante:
Dvante , everywhere you go someone is always watching, And Integrity is doing the right thing even if noone is watching".

As I sat and read the words she had so eloquently written, taking the time from her busy day and sent to my
Godson, I was filled with emotion and gratitude.
I was overcome with gratitude while
thinking,
how profound those words;
how meaningful
how appropriate for particularly my Godson
as he enters his senior year of high school
and
at this particular time of his young life.
TwoWolves lives her life guided by spirit
by messages of The Creator,
by feelings so strong they could move her
and the mountains of the
Black Hills
.
of course
D'Vante is quick to answer anyone,
and unfortunately answers often with what is often short sighted and opinonated and harsh at times;
can be in reality and often viewed as
"disrespect and attitude"
rather than well thought out opinion that is grounded in loving and kindness and gentle spirit.
As I looked back later for the latest and greatest of football pictures
I saw that once again
his Godmother felt that pain of disappointment and his missing the gift he had been given as he replied to this powerful and well respected woman and friend of mine with this: [and I quote:]
"Wise words, that's why I always live my life as God is watching, Because when my time comes his opinion is the only one that matters".

Yes, that is my 17 year old godson, (note the "always in his statement";
yes that's the same godson you've read about, seen photos of; the one who's heart beats within my chest;
who I would defend to anyone, would fight to the death for; have stood for all of his young life up against the wall, within many situations since his birth.
I suppose it was not lost upon anyone here
nor Kelly Two Wolves
that no where in his remark
was,
"Hello Kelly KellyTwoWolves in South Dakota
thank you for thinking of me,
with what started out lovely with at least correct
 "wise words",
I guess all noticed there was no "thank you" for thinking of me today,
nor no "take care" or "God Bless YOU" at the end.
But there was also a clear message of
"when my time comes it is HIS opinion that will be the only opinion that matters";
 which to any intellegent person
is translated to
"I do not care about the thoughts or opinions or standards of anyone NOW or in the future, only MINE"
and that was from one who has yet to start their life,
God spare his life, he has yet to begin.
The Creator, Universal Oneness (God) lives within each of us
and therefore
when one says that the opinions/thoughts/help/suggestions of others mean nothing (at the young age of 17
it means
"nothing nor no one matter but me and my opionion"
as we are the God manifest within ourselves.
Our living is that which matters
and it is in our
integrity, our service to others
that we enhance our Creator/God within
to live the best lives possible in the eyes
of the Creator/God within
that is based in love, kindness, respect for all living things
walking with gentleness and goodness to and for those we love and meet along the way.
"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad. That's my religion." ~Abraham Lincoln

Most would be excited or over the top
to recieve their own message from
a person of the stature of
KellyTwoWolves, known across the world
and be rather amazed.
He can be a loving and caring individual,
and that is witnessed mostly with his
best pals and their parents I hear from a distance;
he can be so much
more
based in love and that he has been loved deeply
and continues to be.
BUT
it is how he chooses to be that seems
to be giving him difficulty
now that he approaches his senior year
where the rubber meets the road
and
will now chart his course for his life.
One thing he has learned through the years
I do believe
"One does NOT lie, cheat, steal, nor disrespect
the Godmother"
Just not how I roll nor believe
nor live my life
><
funny thing is this:
when he was but a babe; he had a "wolf" stuffed one that was given to him by his Godmother, to watch over him, he was told the story of the two wolves...
BUT
now he says:
"I don't believe in the wolf story I believe in god"
and
of course there is that tatt
I bought and he has on his chest for his birthday
"where there is god there is light"
BUT
where is his light
and understanding
that the wolf story is within
and is the same
...
...

I did notice later that
Kelly TwoWolves posted again to
D'Vante, who is My Godson, my heart, a 17 year old'
one whose life has yet to begin,
but with the thought of his remarks
sounds as though he will not really care
or love until he dies and then leave his life's work
and
legacy up to The Creator
and
the "opinion"
which just boggles my mind
...
"where the is god there is light"
as it is not tattooed across his chest
and
I have to wonder does that mean anything for his life
and the many many years
that he will walk among humans
living?
WHERE IS THIS LIGHT
is what others think and how they are treated
do not matter in the day to day schema
to this boy?
So... now my heart aches for what he has become in his thoughts, actions and self-abosrbed beliefs it seems.

And TwoWolves and spirit led her in saying?
I could have never said better,
but
he probably does NOT understand, (nor is he interested in expanding that understanding it appears)
although he is of his mothers' blood, My Mothers' blood
of my blood
and
of
Granny's blood.

TwoWolves simply and with kindness said this:

"I sure hope you are feeding the right wolf"

And yet, my Godson did not call his godmother to ask
what does this mean, although he has been told the story since he was two; he used to have a wolf sitting in his bedroom that held the story.
He did not call to say,
What does this mean, and will you talk to me,
I'm so sorry that I have caused such pain and what can I do.
He did not message Two Wolves
the renowned psychic and friend of his Godmother with questions... Perhaps he thinks he knows all the answers.

Many say: typical for a teenager.
BUT,
that is not good enough; he is not typical
he is MY Godson,
I expect more from my blood, my heart
and a boy that has been loved and shown
the ways of love all of his life through
compassion kindness and touch.

the Tale of The Two Wolves with each of YOU/US:

Cherokee Legend has a most beautiful story
one that is most appropriate for this world
for our children and for ourselves
in this world and day to day lives.

A young one sat with his Elder one time who told him:
child; within all of us lives inside, two wolves at battle:

One is EVIL, it is anger, ugliness, rage, greed, hatefulness, jealously, meanness, darkness, horror, sorrow, regret
AND YET SO MUCH MORE

The other is JOY, peace, kindness, love, faith, tenderness, hope, belief, acceptance, light, happiness, magical moments, acceptances, pride, honor, truth, integrity,
AND YET SO MUCH MORE

The young one had listened hard and said very seriously,
Well, please tell me... which one "wins"?
the Elder smiled gently, touching the child with such love and
simply said,
"THE ONE YOU FEED"

Dear friends,
I hope you are feeding the right wolf
and
my Godsons and Olivia, my hearts and future;
I pray
YOU are always nurturing and feeding
the right wolf, as they have been taught, nurtured
and
encouraged with each kind word and embrace through the years.

thank-you Kelly TwoWolves
for thinking of
my Godson D'Vante today.
Please forgive his arrogance and rude response to you,
he has been raised better,
and
deep inside he has been taught better.
><
"Choose being kind over being right and you'll be right every time, and The Creator/God/dess will take a liking to you and always be there for you."
BUT
make no mistake,
you cannot fool the Creator/God or Goddess
and
Creator don't like "ugly"
and
remember friends

I will share with you readers,
should you desire a reading
with
"the real deal"
in the way of a psychic
please give
Kelly TwoWovles
a call to schedule it!
I have had many readings with her,
and
she is
"amazing, she always gives you what you need and so much more">
and when you tell me, she sounds and laughs like me,
you will not be the first!
But most importantly
YOU will NOT be disappointed with the time spent with her.

She is also a remarkable artisan
and
to visit her recent offerings (she's havin a great sale)
visit

i am most honored to call her my "sissy", my friend.
And tonight
I ask
"sissy please accept my apologies for the rudeness of my Godson".

Please hold him UP in lodge, in prayer and ask that the Elders of the Black Hills also keep him in their prayers.

><
May the Universal Oneness that is within each of your, the god/goddess manifest that lives strong
allow you to remember all that you are
and
that you have all that you need to
DO MORE, be more
in the service to others
which in turn allows you to live fuller, live richer
and
that is the intention of your creation.
It is in the giving of self
that the light burns brighter
in acts of love and kindness to those we see, those we know
and those we call family.

to be accountable for ourselves and our actions,

our lives.

UPDATE:
Olivia in Marlyland is doing wonderfully and looking forward to another great school year; feeding the right wolf and enjoying each moment of each day, playing soccer and running like a pony with wild abandon on those ankles with no problems,
while 'the Mama" Joan and I continue to greive our baby Olivia who is now 11 and so lovely and kind
as she enters a new year of school
looking more grown up each day!

Kamryn is getting ready for birthday #10
and just tickled as he can be
after a day with his Mom and auntie Dot
where he ate and ate and ate,
while shopping til he dropped
all is great in Kamryn world.
Kamryn turns 10 on Wednesday!

D'Vante was with seniors this weekend,
and in the morning is taking his
Mom to the coaches breakfast
for "dad's and players"
as his Mom is both Dad/Mom
and I am thrilled that she will sit there beside him
and
hopefully be introduced to all and
receive a round of applause
for being both!

EE in Colorado was taken to the ER
as her eyes began to have blood and broke into blisters secondary from the IV given for the heart tests and is in severe pain but now with eye treatment under her loving son's care.
><
Sandy and Stuart are working hard,
as Sandy prepares for a birthday on Tuesday
and
now that Stu has "3 wives" we are giving him a hard time on making her day extra special and plan to seize his wallet to ensure her a special special birthday
while he plans to kick it off with serving her
breakfast in bed!
He still says his negotiating [powers] with the three of us has been greatly diminished!
And we love that!

We continue to await news from Shannon on her brother Rod in Michigan and prayers are going up there.

Strong message today on integrity. Appreciation isn't expressed much by young people these days. I will share today's thoughts with a young person that is very special to me. 1♥ Susan

Feeding the right wolf is one more amazing Native American spiritual lesson. Beautiful in it's simplicity, a "life truth". Thank you doc and Kelly2Wolves for sharing with us. Let each of us feed the right wolf always.

I am overcome with sadness on reading your column today of a Godson you have loved so dearly since birth. I know 17 is a difficult year for lots of people. Kids in this day and time are given everything they want so therefore they expect it without any thank you, any love and thoughts. A tatto saying what? Wonder if he looks on his chest and realize what the tatto means. I am very saddened by this display of what should be love and caring. I think it is a sad time in all of the readers here today seeing how a 17yr. old can go to the core of the heart and hurt someone who loves him so much. May all of you say prayers for him. Maybe God will intervene in his life and show him the way. Blessings to all.

I am Honored and humbled my Darling girl,LOL I take no offence I have raised boys, Still into their adult lives I whisper in their ears. And know I come to the for-front of their minds when they are unsure if what they are doing is right. Because they have told me "I was ganna....but then I thought How would I explaine to you why I did that!" I have to laugh, cry and giggle, as I know the seeds of the past planted many crops in them, That I have been blessed to see grow. Being a young man in this world today is very challenging, Hormones racing, 100's of choices and voices comming at them all at once. Tv telling them what they should own, peirs pressuring them to fit in, and family ties feeling restrictive.
Be patient, kind, Loving and stand in your own integrity, Teach by example Darling <3 and as they stumble and fall they will always know there is a safe place to land. Respect, and Integrity are grown from within and spread outwards,Like the ripples in a placid pool when you drop a pebble. Your love is the ripples let them wash up to the shores changing the face of the landscape, sometimes greatly sometimes gently, and all we be well.
Thank you for honoring me so,Thank you for being in my life. Know how much I love you. Prayers going out to all those here, Many Blessings to you and yours.

Dear Dr. Sherry, your words are strong today and much needed by so many. They touch the heart of those that read them and we know they are from your heart that today is very heavy. I understand that heart as I am going through a similar heart breaking situation with a young man in my life that has said and done some very hurtful things in the past few months that is breaking my heart. I try to see and feel the love that I know is there for him but it very difficult to accept what he has said and done as I trusted him to do better, to know better and to be better in life and to do what is right. I know how heavy ones heart can feel in such a time. My prayers go out to D'Vante, Kamryn and Olivia as they continue to grow and be nurtured by the love you have for them and others in your family. I request that you hold the young man in my life up in prayers as well that he comes to the realization of the hurt and heartache he has brought to my life. Unfortunately, I don't think he even realizes or cares what he has done that has caused such heartache to my life. He is old enough to know better as he is not 17 but in his mid 20s. I thank you for this.
The The Tale of Two Wolves is a reading I have known and carried in my heart for many years. I actually have it printed out and in a very special place that I can see it often and be reminded. So true and so fitting here this day. Thank you for the reminder.
I have been following Kelly 2 Wolves for quite some time on facebook and web. I long to some day purchase something from your creation that touches my heart. I just have not chosen such an item at this time and can't decided what it is most that I want. Some day soon I will.

Thank you Dr. Sherry for the update on those we hold in prayers. I continue to hold you in my prayers daily. EE - be well and feel better. I hope you are home soon and your eyes are well again. Sandy - have a wonderful birthday Tuesday and I hope that Stewart spoils you all day as you deserve to be spoiled. Enjoy your special day. I still pray for you and Stewart about your home situation. Rod, here in Michigan and sister Shannon and the family, I have held you in my prayers all week and pray that news will be good news in time. God Bless this family going through such a trial as this. Prayers for your Mom COB that she continue to feel good and I was so happy to hear the good news of a healthy body.
Those others on this list my prayers and thoughts go out to each of you as I read your names individually and ask God to Bless you and keep you strong and well in whatever situation you are in.
Prayers and thoughts for all those who stop by here this day to read these words and take them to heart. Have a wonderful Sunday and be well my friends. Sandy♥

Dear Kelly TwoWolves, thank you for your response to Dr. SES. My heart has been so heavy today. With your kind words of wisdom I feel there is hope and with Sandy telling of her heartache. All we can do is pray. My heart is full of sadness for anyone who would be so unkind to people who love them dearly and who will stand beside them thru thick and thin. Thank you to all out there reading of our heartache today and all days. May the love enter back in these young boys hearts and they will pray to God our Creator to help them. Blessings to DRSES and to all

Dear Dr. Sherry, it is indeed good to leave the words for others who will pass this way and may not have seen them on Sunday. I truly understand the powerful hurting of the heart where a child that you have loved and nurtered all his life can bring to you. I understand so painfully as I mentioned I am going through a similar situation. This young man is not my blood but I have loved and tried to nurture him since he was 3 years old and he is now in his mid 20s. We had been seperated for many years due to a sad situation beyond my control but have been back together the past 4 years. It is difficult to understand how they can say and do such things knowingly that their words and actions sting and tear the one that loves them most. Strong prayers go out to these boys and also for those like sweet Kamryn that they never turn their heart and actions around that could cause such hurt to another. God Bless you Dr. Sherry, cousin Angie, your Mom COB, my prayers for you all this day and also for Kamryn, Olivia and D'Vante. Prayers also for those friends who stop by here this day that you have a terrific Monday and enjoy the Blessings we are given. I hope the weather is good for everyone today. It is sunny but in the chilly mid 60s this morning in SE Michigan. Early fall like weather for us. Sandy♥

hellooooo
amazingly powerful words and stories here today .I am filled with many thoughts which would take forever to express but I would like to say that I do believe D'Vante is a super great young man, his strentgh and goodness has shined strongly through your stories in the past here. Perhaps, as I have known to be the case with most teen boys, he is struggling within with the " two wolfs" and in spite of all he KNOWS, all that is the intricate fabric of his soul is overshadowed at this time, and this will pass soon.I work daily with lots of great teens, some more fortunate than others in having the awesome love from families, and the guidance and support they need to get thru the trying times of adolesence. I am often appalled, amazed, overwhelmed... at the behavior I see and yet when I really LISTEN..
most often what I hear is the insecurity they have in knowing who they are, and the longing they all seem to have to be accepted...Looking back into my own teenage years, wow, what a rotten kid I was... thankfully, with the help and strong structure provided by my parents, I believe I did learn to feed the right wolf..but along the way, I know I did things which I am not proud of.. In raising my own girls, I often found it was a tough job to stay patient, firm and hopeful that they would turn out to be adults with respect, integrity and compassion for others...
In reading all comments today, I wish all here the best and know we certainly have a great group of warriors...Thanks to all for sharing,
you have all become an important part of ME..
I'd like to wish a Happy Birthday to neighbor Sandy, we share the same birthday, and I will toast a cheer of happiness heading her way in the year ahead... Angie, hang in there, you are a super Mom... and for you Doc,
there is not a star in the universe which outshines you !!!
Health and peace to everyone, today I will BREATHE... STOMP... and I will NOT BLINK !!!
sign me, hugging my angels,
full of gratitude... A.

Hurricane Irene, here
I read Sunday and Monday's post.
I cannot say, but agree with most of the other comments. I believe the young man is in an internal struggle, being pulled and pushed.
The story of the 2 wolves. Be strong, be kind, be understanding, forgive, forget, let time pass, healing, change and all that comes with the growth of the young today.
MY GODSON, nephew, named after my dad, is displaying similar distance, comments, lack of _________, breaking MY HEART. Dear Dr. Sherry, throughout all reading, meeting the boys in the past, I have to believe a change will come. I am FIRM on this..... today.
