It Just Don't Get Better Than This!

Great morning... That old friend got here! Ever have those old friends? The one that you don't see for a long time? Then you get together, and you pick right up just like you had seen each other the day before?

WOW... it just doesn't get any better than that! Hearts, souls, minds that maintain that intimate connection through the miles, across the winds of time and change... and then once united again you just pick right up as if there had been no break in the connection at all ~ just "snap" in a heart beat... just like that you are right there picking up the sentence that you left off a couple of years ago! Isn't that just wonderful?

I am so richly blessed, that I sometimes make myself silly with gratitude ~ STOMPIN WITH JOYOUS SONG AND GIGGLES OF SHEER DELIGHT IN WONDER AND AMAZEMENT ~ ~ ~ the drum is beating loudly here, the coffee is hot, and the four-leggeds are wild with another human to delight with their antics!

So much to do in so little time... so many sights to see, beaches to walk and wonders to share with my beloved friend! haha... Did I mention that we must of course witness the brilliance of the sunset on the gulf ~

"What is a friend? A single soul in two bodies"  {Aristotle}

Perhaps the greatest lesson on true friendship is learned from the Elders... one never lets the grass grow on the path of hearts connected on the path of kindred relations in friendship!

And for that I give thanks... and so it is!

So with this thought shared, I leave with today's thoughts being... CELEBRATE those you call friend!

Enjoy the memories that have been created in friendships, look forward to those next times together whether in person, by phone, by 'chat' or in cyper-space! Treasure them... knowing the path must be kept clear of grass, weeds and twigs and such... choose wisely and slowly as there are big differences in friends and acquaintances ~

There are those who come into our lives for seasons, reasons, short and lifetimes... sometimes it is difficult to know at the time, sometimes easy... sometimes we just know we've known someone all of our life or at least it sure seems that way!

The fire IS burning, the embers are red hot, fresh coals ~ ~ {see them with your minds eye...}
