Congratulations President OBAMA!

The election, our America, the people have spoken.

 God Bless America

Congratulations to our President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and their families.

It is time to hold on to HOPE, to sustain the hope, to stand behind our Commander-in-Chief and to reach, work, fight, build and believe.

WE are America, one people, under one Flag

together.

He began with his thank-yous to the people, to all who voted for him, to all Americans everywhere, to and for our troops.

It is time to meld the blue and red of lines that divide and Stand.

 

It is time to move forward as 

ONE PEOPLE.

In his powerful speech to the people he said so much, he spoke from his heart and I had to wonder how he had the energy, yet I listened to each word once again this morning, he went on to say,

about our America

 "It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams, we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one people."

"We live in the greatest nation in the world"

."Our economy is recovering, a decade of war is ending, a long campaign is now over," he told a crowd of cheering supporters in Chicago. "And whether I earned your vote or not, I have listened to you, I have learned from you and you have made me a better president." Obama added he has "never been more hopeful about America. ... We're not as divided as our politics suggest. We remain more than a collection of blue states and red states."..

 There is much work to do, Our President said that, each and every one of us has a hand and feet in that, a job to do.

It is a time to rise up with the same passion, the same forces that have divided party lines and the same zest that we have seen for months by divisions of parties and monies spent on campaigns and desires for candidates in the winning.

It is time

to UNITED as Americans, the greatest Nation in the world.

Virginia the commonwealth of Virginia was still voting at 9pm last night, in counties known as Montgomery and Giles in the mountains; and oh how they gave folks a marvelous surprise!

Ohio was the watch state this year, and all eyes were taken off Florida; many of us here were rather happy about that.

Tempers are running as high as they were prior to the decisions, yet many are still stunned by the final word, the results.

And more it seems are breathing a sigh of true relief.

HOPE is rising like the sun early and bright.

Calls are filling the airwaves and there was dancing in the streets, and surely folks will be gathering around desks and restaurants today as they process and grab newspapers to talk about what is now the news and the 

"Main Event".

Mr. Romney had probably the shortest concession speech in the history of those kind of things yet.

And now we all have confirmation that money cannot buy everything nor everyone.

The people have spoken,

it is time to roll up our sleeves after making joyous noise and putting aside the disappointments and get to work to better our country, ourselves and our country.

It is time to blend blue and red to make purple and get over ourselves and each other as one people.

And

It is really time for our President to realize that the next 4 years are the time to remember that there are many who will attempt to block bills that benefit the people, and his is the final answer.

There are times when building consensus is not the answer as we saw and now folks blame the President for yet it is time for those in Congress to work together rather than stand divided.

And that is my thought for today.

As I congratulate the President of the United States and pray for all of us.

We are all connected and it is time to 

MOVE FORWARD

as the greatest nation in the world and United people who extend a hand where a hand binds us as one fierce force.

No one has to "like" the President, the Governors of their states...

BUT

it is critical as an American we Respect the person and the office and our 

commander-in-chief.

The world is watching us, and we are 

The People of the U.S.A.

Let's bring back R E S P E C T

and prepare to be amazed at what falls in place.

It is time,

TIME TO UNITE AS AMERICANS.
