for now I have been reminded of "true" cold weather while up there in PA

which has just tickled so many

particularly 2wolves my sissy out there in

South Dakota now that I have had a

"touch"

of what she and Jinxy live with day in and day out.

So here in Florida

it is just fine I tell you, just fine!

Where has January gone I'm thinking?

and then it hits me like a cast iron skillet...

It flew with most of us in this area sick as

we could be with some type of flu/pneumonia

that left us weak in the knees

and

still trying to recover

while life flies into 2011

and the little ones are growing way to quickly!

Lily the North American Black Bear

out there in

Ely MN

now has her "tribe"

in that den

and those babes sound human

as they let their needs be known,

we are learning more and more about the gentle spirit of

the Black Bear

the wonderment of nature

in -9 degree weather

and the dedication of

Dr Rogers, Lynn Mansfield and Jason a fellow who mounts

a snowmobile when the live den cam gets moved

by the bears

and those on Facebook go insane wanting to "see and hear"

all

and then "poof" magic happens and we see the little eyes

and movement

and

all of a sudden

we see HOPE, the one year old put her arm around her Mom

and hear her, and then those tiny little ones scream

making my 4 leggeds look at me wondering what in the world

has just happened!

During all of that

we have a

Superbowl getting ready to happen

those Pittsburgh Steelers will go against the Green Bay Packers

for that

super sized ring and  bragging rights

and the best daggone commercials of the year will be viewed

by millions and zillions.

TIME IS FLYING BY.

Sadness and tragedy falls in January

with

excitement ....People are rushing and running and doing and wondering

and

thinking and working and living life in living color

full tilt.

Whew

it is hard at times to catch your breath with all that is happening.

And then

someone shows up at your door

and

"I'VE BEEN SERVED"

NOPE

not lobster, not steak, not ice cream, not a

Black Russian

but

white paper

saying someone wants to talk to me

and

I should "act accordingly"

guess that means I am expected to "behave"!

Well the good news is

I wasn't being arrested, it wasn't a warrant,

I am going to be

out of town!

St Petersburg Police leveled home that held shooter who is now dead and bulldozers have leveled ground where house used to be, guess Police Department have indeed "served swift justice".

just thinkin...

wonder what "hat" I was wearing

back when...

BUT

yesterday the door bell rang

and a kind eyed man

asked

if I was "ME"

haha

Well it was a bit more

Official than that

and

then he handed me

an

official looking white paper

and

informed me

"YOU've just been SERVED"

ohhh crap...

I'm thinkin, who ~ what ~ when ~ why

and

then he told me the "when"

oops

sorry

I'll be out of town

3 days 3 cities!

I instead received papers

official papers from an official man

regarding a

"case"

by a

"process server"

uh oh!

NIce guy he was;

the gentleman had served more than 20 years in

law enforcement he said after we talked a bit

about those papers in his hands!

I had been "SERVED"

would need to "appear"

on the 2ND of February in Clearwater

and somewhere on this paper

it said in bold print

"PLEASE GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY"

This kind man who served me;

who was kind, he was nice enough

he explained to me what these papers were about,

they were from a law firm in Tallahassee FL

and

"I was to APPEAR" for a "deposition"

me?

I can't appear anywhere

I will be out of town!

3 cities 3 days...

nope not me

no can do!!!

ME?

Ohhhh nooooo

why, who, where,

nope

NOT ME

soooo

quick call the phone number...

I don't know anything to help ya here, but I do know I won't be in town!

Last night in Radford VA, I bet Godson and his team mates felt like "stars" as they got their "Letters" for those

Letterman Jackets from Football this year!

Guess if you walk into him you won't know unless passing him,

you have just seen a star,

since that star is in the back of his head!

But

maybe you will see the twinkle in his eye

or that ever so lovely

dimple in his cheek when he smiles

and know

that the day he was born

a star fell from heaven!

in the back of his head
