It's Time

Well
it's time to make the last
splash of
2011
and
to say so long to this year!

This is a photo of
Nicholas taking a grand leap yesterday
as
COB, D'Vante, Kamryn and I
visited
Winter the Dolphin and friends
at the
Clearwater Marine Aquarium
and
we loved seeing
Winter The Dolphin
now that she is a
super star!
Along with all the thousands
in town for the
Outback Bowl who were gathering along the
beach of Clearwater
I can tell ya the traffic
was just peachy
as those fans from Georgia
and
Michigan
were there to rival their way through the day!
WINTER THE DOLPHIN
smiling
could of cared less about the traffic
as she smiled for all who came just to see her!

><
WINTER just hanging out waitin for "fish"

It's morning
and
the holidays and the year are ending all at the same time
it's official
as
COB and the boys are heading to the airport
in the dark of morning.
On the last day of the year
as the world now thinks of how this year will end
and the new of 2012
will begin
the fam
now has memories that will sustain us
and
all was lovely once again here
in Florida!
We have laughed and watched in awe
as we shared new firsts together
and
were able to celebrate the season together.
Now as this year comes to a close
they will board the plane that takes them to the cold state
of
southwest Virginia
back to their homes
and
new excitement that awaits them
as the boys and cuzzie Angie will soon move into their new home in
January!
It will be a time of great excitement for them.

We did have fun, although those nasty green men have made a return visit to me...
I guess they just couldn't stand the fact that I felt better for two days
and
took those boys to a
NHL
game to see the
Tampa Bay Lightning
only then to follow with
seeing
USF and UCONN on the court the following night!
Perhaps the little green men were jealous?
Perhaps they wanted their very own "foam finger"?
OR
cotton candy even?
It just might have been that we had one of our best "firsts"
even though we thought we didn't like HOCKEY!
OH how exciting the night!
I almost wish I had a LIghtning jersey to wear!
But really now
$6.00 for a hotdog?
D'Vante and I realized we could make a lotta money
selling hotdogs there!
><
So here we are
the end of the year
are you ready?
It has been a whirlwind year hasn't it?
Are you ready to say
"good bye" to 2011?
And
Hello to 2012?

What are you planning to do to bring in this
New YEAR?
Are you making some plans for yourself?
><
Have you discovered anything about
YOU that you want to share?
Kamryn discovered a new talent last night
as we had a great meal at
Tiffanys Family Restaurant in
Palm Harbor
and
visited
the owner
Paul Hittos
the proud pappa
of
baby Lucas
born in late October!
I think our dear Paul is working on his own football team cos' he is about one babe short of a basketball team now
in the Hittos family!!!
What a man he is
of great kindness and community!
We had to go there last night
for his
Friday night
fish fry
where we met up with Laura, Mitch and grandbaby Ben
and ohhh what a lovely time we had.
KAMRYN AND THE NEWEST TALENT!
Nose spooning
2011

So as you greet this last day of
2011
what are you the proudest of?
Has this been a year
that you have something to hold tightly to
and
be proud of
along with things to let go of?
><
Perhaps this is a day
to write down those things you want to release
before starting into the New Year
things you no longer need to carry forward with you
into 2012
perhaps
you may want to list
some things you want to do
in
2012
(don't overwhelm your senses or set time lines)
just list some things you would like to see happen!
Remember ... whether you think you can, or ... think you can't
you will be right!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
to all!
...
I wish you all that you need
to start your
year
FRESH
to begin
clean
a year
of wonderment
a year
of
HOPE
with faith
that can move mountains
and
conquer your fears
and
your dreams
as we
together
walk into the newness of this year
differently than ever before.
As the sunsets on you
today
enjoy
and
celebrate the wonder
all around you
embrace the
world
that you are honored to be in
and
may you dance into
2012
hearing
the music
with all that you are
DANCE
sing
DANCE
laugh
DANCE
enjoy

Blessings on the winds
to all

The Wrapping Paper is now In The Trash!

Christmas was GRand
it
just tickled us to
LIFE

and
the day after
was spent in the
MALL
...
Oh what I won't do for my boys
who got some
$$$
for Christmas that was just burning a hole in their pockets!
So
yep
we spent the whole day
at the MALL
as they searched for deals to beat the band
as
I just wandered
and
wondered
where in the world did all these people come from!
They were
EVERYWHERE
and most didn't look really thrilled to be there
I might just add!
haha
Oh but the ice rink was filled with kids of all ages
as they just went
round and round
and
many a fall!
BUT
all were consistent as they returned to an upright position
and
all looked amazed at their palms
and then
"blew on them"
as if they were on fire!
Ah what a grand time we had,
as
I would meet up with
D'Vante and Kamryn
from time to time
and
then
COB, D'Vante, Kamryn and I met
for lunch
at
Ruby Tuesday for lunch...
Gotta eat
to be able to continue
for the shop marathon I guess!
It was after watching in sheer delight as
Kamryn just enjoyed
chicken wings
like I've never seen enjoyment!
COB was bold enough to ask for one of them
only to see a little boy
assert himself
as he looked rather incredulous
before saying
NO!!!
Later he did say
"Dot, do you really want one? If you do, you can have one?"
But the look on his face let us all know that it would have indeed broken his heart had she taken it!
><
Ah,
but he let us all know
that they were awesome, they were lovely wings
and
they best he had ever eaten
as those bones were picked clean as a whistle!
I sat and just watched
with amazement
at one who could enjoy with such tremendous delight!
Such pleasure made the
MALL
so much fun
even for one who had no plans of shopping
on the 3rd busiest day of shop history in the year
a day
they call
"boxing day"
round the world
and I now know why!
It looked like the merchants were indeed ready for a fight
along with those who were out there buying
and
returning gifts they didn't want
and
taking advantage of the gift cards
and
that green stuff they received for the holidays!
><
After Kamryn went to wash up after eating his "wings"
he returned to the table
and
noticed the little bowl sitting on the table
(his big brother had left a couple of jalepeonos)
and
without giving much thought to it,
little Kamryn popped a jalepeono pepper in his mouth
as he sat down!
Well the rest was enough for a quick picture
or two
and there went my coke
and
we erupted in hysteria!
OHHHHHHHHH>>>>NOOOOOOO<<<<<<<
can I have your
COKE
QUICK???

Needless to say
at this point
we are using
Kleenex
and
I am saying so long
to my coke
as the rest of us
realize this boy is on fire
...
I'LL
NEVER NEVER DO THAT AGAIN
...
HAPPY DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS
...

sURE hope you are making great memories
wherever you are
and
whatever you are doing!

We are still
sniffling here,
but
definately feeling better than the last weeks
so
i can't help but believe
that the
New Year
will come in with
great promise!

Hoping you are having a fantastic day
and
holding tightly to the magic of the season
and
be careful
of
those
jalepeonos as Kamryn would tell ya!!!

FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS

This is a friend of mine
named

and his little legs
but
thanks to his
humans
there is a path
for the necessities
in life!

sunny
Florida

JEEPERS SAYS:

the boys and COB
are here
in Florida
and
the presents
have been opened

and
I smell sausage
as the little 4 leggeds are standing by in the kitchen
praying that
something falls
...
the little green men
are refusing to leave the house
but
I do believe
Santa
and
his reindeer
have scared them
so
there is
HOPE!

Many blessings

It's getting closer!

It's beginning to get a lot closer to
Christmas!
OH MY
I think as I move from the bed to the couch
and
find a new box of kleenex
and
the green men just laugh and laugh
at their timing
and
my distress!
So
with all that said,
Let me say this...
May your day be shiny and bright
May your patience be as long as the nights have felt
and
may your understanding of other's be as long as
Santa's journey
with a hearty a laugh as he is known to have
HO
 HO
  HO

Blessings to all this Sunday Mornin!

The prayer bowl is being held
with tender thoughts for all who are being thought of
this morning
and
those in need
we want you to know
"we are with you always"

May you feel the Creators hand on your shoulder
and
love in your heart
to give you strength
to
fill you with
faith, hope and charity
WE are with you

Ohhhhhh Meeee the green men have invaded!

Little Green men
score

Well the holidays are fast approaching
and
those little green men
have invaded the body
and
are now
kicking my @#@
so.
and laying a bit low
as
I recover from that little green man who has taken up residence
within here.
A jolly little one it is
who wrecks havoc on the system
and
interferes with all that is scheduled
and
makes
laying down the best option of the day
with
juice
and
kleeenex about
the only way to go
...
As Lily Tomlin once said
"For fast acting relief, try slowing down"
and

slowing down
I am

So
wherever you are
go slow friends
and
beware
of
those
LITTLE GREEN MEN
cos'
they are out there
and
they are lurking!!!
