Sunday..

Wishing you
COLORFUL JOY
on a day where the weatherman is telling us to prepare of a
NorEaster on the Eastcoast!
The skies are again opening up, the winds are starting to howl while the spanish moss dances on the trees here.
Yep there is goin to be a drench filled day of that liquid sunshine it sure does feel and look it!

The rains have given us high wind and liquid sunshine and more is to come, I've heard where snow has graced some of the states and folks said, "well it is a delayed and welcomed wetness" in this spring of ours!
I'm lookin to the colors of those flowers to light me up today,
some great music to get my dance on, the 4 leggeds to entertain me with their boot scoot boogie,
and laughter to fill the air and hopefully dance on the winds!
AND
the update for all on that
MS 150 RIDE OUT IN THE LONE STAR STATE
where Laura is feeding Shauna and Dixie last night after day 1
with an over abundence of "carbs"
is this:
The girls rode 89 miles on day one!
Winds were gusting at 35 miles an hour, but ride they did to Cure MS!
this photo shows them as they were ready to start early yesterday morning!
They are now on the road;
RIDING TO CURE MS!
Laura will be at the finish line
more updates to follow!
"when you think you can't you must"

My thoughts and prayers goin up today for all that are riding to Cure MS, to those that are struggling, fighting battles and doing all that they can to reach out and help another.
The fire is lit, the sage is burning.
YOU are your most precious resource,
may you look within for truth, for strength, for all you need
to do all you must to find; joy, peace, freedom, power, hope, encouragement, light, faith, strength, kindness, laughter.

For:
Lyle Emerson and his family in Buffalo and little Kendra 3 years old who is fighting Lymphoblastic Leukemia,
Bernice Etsitty and the life of her son, gone too soon GARRETT JOE,
and all the children of all colors
gone tooo soon,

Happy EARTH Day to us on this Sunday that is sure to bring a storm up the East Coast. Just figures, I committed to a disabled senior for his trip home. Yesterday's flight was very delayed, so home we drove, rescheduled for TODAY, which is sure to be cancelled. I am NOT in a good mood, but the colorful flowers perked me up. Thanks, SES.
Gotta go before I write something not so nice. EYES SCREAMING !

Happy Earth Day to you Irene, and bless you for your kindness for your friend... I hear that NorEaster is doing all sorts of things... 6-10 inches of snow in Buffalo... flights being cancelled, delayed, NERVES BEING FRAYED... sounds like perhaps yours are a bit on edge as well! ah c'mon give us what you have .. rant on kiddo, we can take it... but, enjoy those flowers, and think of Lauras' kids out there riding on those little seats of their bikes with those aching butts with the rains/winds for the cure for MS on the horizon.. and pull your warrior self out... STOMP, and give a joyous dance and shout out.
turn up some music and dance all over the place today as they ride for the CURE...

Guess it is the day to be down in the dumps. Irene I am here with you. It has been a damp, rainy day with lots of things on the mind and trying to filter them out to see is it really worth all of the stress and worry about the many things that life hands you. I am rooting for Laura and the MS gals down in Texas and I am thinking what wonderful people who give so much of their lives to help others but then feel helpless when it comes to their own problems. Guess it is one of those feel sorry for me and lonely day. Should do something positive for myself more often and just get the monkeys off my back. That is not me in my usual gusto for life. So I am right there with you Irene and the flowers are beautiful and Tim is awesome but did not make me feel much better. Tomorrow is another day and I will try to get thru this one. Thanks for all of the kind words and thoughts. Sometimes it is just not good to get out of bed. Maybe this is the day. Scream if you want to.

Hello Dr. Sherry and friends. So good to see you here Irene and Anonymous. I hope your spirits are lifted to joy. Dr. Sherry, the flowers were beautiful! Those vibrant colors so lovely - thank you for them today. I hope the weather is not soo soo bad for you all. It is getting cold here again in SE Michigan. Was in the 30s and only got to 47° and now 30s. The highest temp this week is mid 50s cloudy and rainy all week. That is okay though because glorious summer is on the way and it is not snow or ice so a little rain, wind and cold is fine as the sun will be shining soon.

Happy to hear the girls on the MS ride did so well so far. Great job girls supporting such a great need.

Prayers for those listed as I read the long list of names.
Was a busy day for me. Sunday School, Church, shelter and had to take my one sweet four legged furry to the vet today - Nothing serious, just a lump the vet said was from the antibiotic shot from his dental last week. Just needed the reassurance all was well.
Take care my friends, have a peaceful and quiet evening and rest well to start a new week and new Blessings. Irene, thank you for doing all you do for so many. You are the Best! Hugs - /Sandy♥

Guess the NorEaster is getting to folks.. Scream, Shout, twist and holler... then when all that is done... perhaps the words of a great teacher will help:

“If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain.”
