A Walk Through My Mind

You've Had A Walk In My Mind

Baby it's cold outside... I almost had to look at my mail this morning to be sure that I live in Florida! Brrrrrrr, it is cold!

Old man winter is having his way with us all over the country, and I just don't much care for this cold weather... come to think of it... I just don't much care for it being dark at 5:30 in the evening now that I think of it!

Wow, yesterday's blog did evoke some comments! I like that..
Today finds the dogs just "full of themselves", guess they like the chill in the air, heaven knows they are feeling feisty as they run with wild abandon a bit too close to the pool's edge...

I got an email this morning from my dear Mom in southwest Virginia where it is 17 degrees. And to think I sit here complaining. heehe  She says she is cranking up the ole' furnace and staying warm. She also told me of a good buddy of hers who has been diagnosed with Cancer and has read the blogs. Her friend told her she intends to "dance through each day of her life"! I sat and tears streaked my face as I read that, hoping and praying that she felt inspiration from the blogs and that a miracle will be hers as she fights her disease.

Have I mentioned that I HATE CANCER?

To my Mom's pal I say this:  You are a warrior; fight the fight of your life, dance to the rhythm of life, be and do all that you want, all that you can... Enjoy each moment, each breath, each dance... Attitude is everything and you are a beautiful woman, filled with life. When the Creator calls you, it will be your time to dance in the lights of the other-side, to go with amazing grace knowing that you danced in beauty from here to there. And it will be good.  You are an inspiration to all. Dance on dear heart, dance on.

Now...

to those who have commented on yesterdays blog:
first and foremost, "you are welcomed"!!!

second, to those wanting to step out of the comfort zone, you can send cards and well wishes to our troops in care of Walter Reed Hospital... they love knowing that we are thinking and that we care. The address can be found online, and if you found me, I am sure you can find the address!

Third, whatever brought you to my blogs, and that is always a curiosity to me, I am glad you are here... but please know, that my thoughts come when they come and are about what they are about! I do not plan for them, they just happen... guess that is the Indian way, you just "sit with it" and let whatever happens happen! Usually there is something there that sneaks into your nervous system and finds its way to your heart!

Did you know that Jack Canfield the author of Chicken Soup for The Soul first marketed his now bestseller and famous book in the National Enquirer?  Isn't that amazing???
He has over 5,000 fans on his facebook fan page and he is famous beyond words. He has tele-seminars, sells out at his seminars all over the world. An amazing marketing guru he is!
And to think it all started with one book and the National Enquirer...

Well, I am building from 22 fans on facebook, now over 400 and have great hopes for 2010 to continue to build it. I am not selling ways to get rich, to find happiness and bliss. BUT, I am writing, I am believing in the resiliency of the human spirit, and I don't think I can afford the National Enquirer advertising sport just yet for Healing Heartaches!

But, if you tell 5 people, and they tell 5 people and they tell 10... you get where I am going here.... Bestsellers list and Oprah here we come in 2010~~~~~ hahaha

Have a blessed day.  Try to remember, though the past may indeed hold some regrets, you have something much more powerful... You have today!  Just by knowing that you can learn by what you have been through in life and you will find your way to go wherever you choose to go.  And yes... sometimes it is good and sometimes not. It is about balance, body-mind-spirit connection.

What a wonderful photo ( makes you just gaze ) and a very refreshing blog. I was beginning to think your ultra-positive attitude was simply not attainable. I have learned you are a real person who does not care for the cold, it getting dark early, and you hate Cancer. THANK YOU for giving me permission to hate some things!!! Will need to begin a list of "things I hate."
Love the idea of Walter Reed Hospital and looked for the address. I found..." Due to security restrictions, Walter Reed cannot accept generic mail addressed to any soldier or a recovering soldier." Please inform your readers if you can come up with places that do accept "generic mail." Thank you for giving me permission to hate some things...personally this blog ranks as one of the best!!!

Cold and dark by 5:30.... This is paradise?
Bring on the sunshine, let there be light, and soon. Love your blogs, look forward to it everyday.
Thanks

But if it were not so very cold and so very dark...would we appreciate the warmth of the sun?
