Hurricane Sandy
is looking like one big EAR
capable of doing more harm and causing more heartaches than any in history on and around the eastern side of our beloved country. While celebrating my birthday with family on the Gulf of Mexico we had some marvelous winds, clouds that rolled in and the sun was beautiful there as the approaching full moon was bright bringing those beloved shells to us, yet just across the coast on the Atlantic things were getting ugly as Hurricane Sandy was being referred to as the Hurricane that was turning into a Frankenstein for Halloween as she was coming toward the East Coast with an attitude of megaforce.
We now are seeing devastation and as she gathers and rolls up the coast it is now being said that this Cat 1 will affect more states than originally thought as it joins with two others storms out there and their cold fronts
reeking havoc and unknown destruction as folks are evacuating areas and putting up plywood while trying to keep their wits about them.
This megastorm is now being thought of as one that will go down in the books of history,
and may wreck havoc across more than 800 miles of our beloved US.
I pray that all are taking this threat seriously and are able to get out of harms way.
I hear where Dottie Arnold was off to the store yesterday to get supplies for their first winter storm of impending snows, now thought to top 2 feet there as a result of Sandy and her mixing it up as far reaching as W.VA. along with NY preparing for subways to potentially flood up North.
This is a big one, and one not to take lightly, when we think of Tropical Storm Debby not so long ago here on the gulf and her damages, yet she never made "hurricane status" as folks are still recovering from her damages.
...
Tens of millions of
people in the eastern third of the U.S. in the path of the
unprecedented freak storm had hours Sunday to prepare for the first
raindrops that were expected later in the day, to be followed over the
next few days by sheets of rain, high winds and even heavy snow.
Hurricane Sandy
was headed north from the Caribbean, where it left nearly five dozen
dead, to meet a winter storm and a cold front, plus high tides from a
full moon, and experts said the rare hybrid storm that results will
cause havoc over 800 miles from the East Coast to the Great Lakes.
Yes, this is a "freak of a Frankenstein" type of Hurricane, and I pray that folks do not take it lightly as it is being said to be a
CAT 1.
The warning from officials to anyone who might be affected path was simple: Be prepared and get out of the way.
...
I'd like to thank each and everyone of you
for the beautiful Birthday thoughts, greetings, cards and wishes.
Each touched me deeply and mean so very much as I now venture out and into a new year blessed with the wishes of each of you,
with shells in my pockets and sand on my shoes!
...
The fire is lit, and the sage is filling the air
as I enter all into the prayer bowl
and my heartfelt prayers for those in the path of Hurricane Sandy, along with all who are facing difficulties, challenges, struggles...
May The Creators hands hold yours in all that you are doing, and provide the strength that you need.

Hellooooooo
Blessings to you and all mentioned ..
prayers for those folks facing the threat of storm 'Sandy"..
I also hope they take it seriously and do whatever needed to stay safe..
May all of us remind ourselves how
blessed and fortunate we are.. pay it
forward today.. and every day,
even if that means just a smile or
a kind word to brighten someone's day.. it's the small gestures in our lives that mean the most.
Thanks to you Sherry, for all you do,
everyday..
so happy for you that you had a birthday full of love and joy..
wishing a happy in heart day to all.
special thoughts to my fellow warriors who are enduring sorrow and tough times.
hugging my angels,

So good to see you Dr. Sherry and happy to hear you had a grand time celebrating your birthday.
Prayers for those already been touched or in the path of the storm.
It has gotten pretty chilly here in SE Michigan, windy and cloudy the past two days. Supposed to have snow flurries forcasted this week.
Also, prayers for those listed that they will feel better knowing others care and hold them in prayers.
Take care friends. Have a peaceful and Happy Sunday as you count your Blessings. /Sandy♥
