Horses, Water, Paths, Races

Decisions, talks, horses, bayonets, words and thoughts are flying as we now have finished the last of the debates... we now see folks all "jacked up" fact finding, exploring body languages, rewinding the tapes and making signs to put on social media.
The horses are laughing and we now are trying to remember the "who shot john" moments as polls and non polls determine the winner of last night, the highlights the moments of "gotcha" and those times where the undecided may have decided who they will vote for as well.  We saw and listened to geography and history lessons delivered by POTUS, we watched as Mr. Romney got a bit red in the face and I couldn't help but wonder if his gentle son is being interviewed today and going to use bad manners and once again say, "I wanted to take a swing at Obama" once again.
Oh when will folks just vote and be done with this without commentary and such shameful photoshopped pictures on social media sights while making their positions and selections be known? It seems that this is a particularly ugly campaign and even the phone calls asking for support has taken on a more demanding tone with asks for support and/or money with those on the other end not knowing how to take no.  Some of us now do not answer, or keep our handy whistles beside the phone just for that reason.  Reason and common sense seem to have gone the way of history as horses and bayonets being replaced by more highly tech things like landing pads on carrier ships it seems. Oh I have seen those before in VA and they are impressive where my dear friend Jane Ridgeway's son serves in the US Coast Guard down around Hampton Va area and such places.  The fleets and the sophistication of the Naval Command, the Coast Guard and our armed forces have come a long way from those who mounted their steads and held their antiquated weapons.
Women who serve our country, from back in the days, as the beautiful woman I introduced you to this week as she spoke about being one of 60 nurses serving during WWII and her time there on a video that I was so honored to watch recently.  There were no recreations for her; she attended the wounded, she saw things that seared into her heart, her mind, her soul as she beared witness to war that killed so many.  So many now are across the world in uniform laying on sand when they sleep; carrying packs of over 70+ pounds and not changing underwear for months at a time, protecting our freedoms, our luxury of a warm bed and the nonsense that we get so very tied up in on a daily basis.  They are fighting each day to protect these precious freedoms that so many take for granted; including our right to vote.  They will return home one of two ways; in a flag draped casket, or alive to those who love them. They will need benefits, help in finding new ways to live here in their world now that they have lived in sand, in horror, in death and the smells, sights and threat 24/7.  One thing I have noticed during all of this political stuff; our President has mentioned those who serve and the fallen, and I admire that.  I stand for those who cannot, because I am grateful, I am free because of their sacrifice and their service to our country, and I am grateful to them and their beloved families.
And yes, I am weary of the ads, the ugliness and the drama that is created on and with so many as they photo shop pictures of our Commander in Chief, as they continue to attempt to get votes, when I do believe that most people will have by today decided on their vote. It's been a rough time for voters as they have been over exposed in televisions in their homes to ads that have scared them, have enraged them have worn them out.  I only hope it has not made them decide to not take the time to vote.  There are times when over exposure can do that; make a person so weary, so disgusted that they just figure it does not matter anyway. Particularly when they hear over and again that the deciding factor will be only a few states, certain counties that will determine the man who sits in the White House. Oh how I pray that each and every person will take the time to cast their vote.  And that The Donald will just sit in his gold framed building and work on his hair while keeping his very wealthy mouth shut now, so that he does not cast more foot in mouth disease on opinions and thoughts that are unnecessary to the world.  But, maybe he is going to dig deep in his pockets and fund jobs, or attend to the suicide rates of Native Americans in our Country which is 7 times the National Average.. Now that is something he can do and once again be applauded for I am thinking. Doing something to make a positive change in our country and for the next generation.
Perhaps he is going to come out with a new work program for those returning home from war, and incorporate a several million dollar program for veterans also; now that would be a great announcement for him as well.

We can only hope.

It's another beautiful day; one that all can get involved in and turn up the music in their worlds while saying thank you... Thank you these debates are over. Think about what is important in your lives and get out there today and "outshine the sun".
Time to saddle up for the day, and just ride!

Hello Dr. Sherry - I will be ever so happy after the election is over. I am so tired of the phone calls and the mail box full of literature trying to catch my vote.
I loved the horse pictures. Those horses are beautiful! I have never ridden a horse and actually never desired to. Funny thing is many years ago at a county fair I was kicked in the hip by a huge work horse. That power scared me and I have never known a horse but I hear they are usually very nice.
Well, your birthday is just around the corner - I hope you are planning a celebration! I wish for you a fantabulistic birthday. I know you are enjoying spending time with your Mom as your big day approaches. Have a grand day today. /Sandy♥

Great words of wisdom today and each day. Romney did have a red face servel times last night. Could be his son was threating the pressident of the USA again last night. President Obama is our president and should be respected by all at all times. Romney and Obama are both running for President and when it is decided lets hope some idiot will not make threats on either one of them. There are a lot of challenges for anyone in the Office of President, each group Republican and Democrats should be working together for the good of Our Country, not fighting each other. The people calling on the phone has been very rude and obnoxious. I for one do not answer when the id. says Unknown Caller or Private Caller. If anyone calls me they can show their number and also leave a message. Lots of time I pick it up and find out it is a telemarkter and just lay it down on the counter and use their dime. We have got to have someone to jump start our economy and get some of our jobs back from over seas. It is almost getting to the point everything I pick up made in China. I hope and pray the best man wins and I think I know who it will be. May parents always said not to argue politics or religion. That is my story and I am sticking to it. God Bless USA

and let the voting begin !!
also tired and bored with the rhetoric, the falsespeak and the
arrogance of those " in the know "
It seems as if they all have forgot
that the voting public have, in fact , inntellect, memory and the great ability to think for ourselves !!
I cannot imagine what will become of our country if we elect Romney.
Just saying .. I will ultimately stand behind the President, whomever it may be, as I realize with gratefullness, I am proud and blessed
to be living in the United States...
wishing all a day of sunshine and
happy heart thoughts !
sign me, hugging my angels,
