MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Sunday Sunday It is Sunday!

Hello Sunday, hello everyone and just everything today!
I hope you have now been able to laugh from the turkey you gobbled, have been able to continue counting blessings and survived Black Friday and Small Business Saturday got to see your beuatiful FAces!
It is now time to mark your calendars
as we are moving into December
and time also to purchase those candles as we join around the world on December 9th at 7pm to light our candles and the world for all those children who have died as the
Compassionate Friends and their local chapters around the country and the world will gather.
Gather they will all around the globe, and at 7pm the candles will be lit by those there and even those in their homes all over the place.
The Children
all gone too soon and all being remembered by Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Godparents, Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Siblings, relatives, friends, community...
Their pictures will be seen on buttons, on coats and sweaters, the faces will be seen in the eyes of those who loved them and on big screens that play as those candles are lit, as speakers will talk of the reason of the gathering on this most special night.
We will feel their spirits both in tears, laughter and as the candle glow fills the night.
It is the world wide candle lighting of the
Compassionate Friends
and if you can only imagine our world in all time zones as it lights the night.
Each year I ask all to join, to lend their light, their hope in healing, their strength and their love to those here, and to those children; all ages who have gone too soon.
Yes it is Sunday,
a day of great gratitude for all of us,
a day to stand in the light while knowing that so many have lost so much and yet will find the strength to attend their very first Compassionate Friends gathering this year.
They will be met by those who have now made this a ritual; a time of reaching back to grab the hand of another or many others. They are survivors of pain and loss who use this day as one where people are welcomed in and the mission is clear as it has been for over 40 years.
They come to remember, to support each other and to share the love of their children, their precious children; gone too soon.
And they are taking steps to heal the pain of loss as they step into the holidays differently than they ever imagined they would have to.
Many will bring their little ones, many will hear the sounds of children that join parents and grandparents on that sacred evening.
And right at 7pm the room will become quiet
and one candle will be lit from a candle of
HOPE
as all will rise and say the name of their precious child as they light their own candle
and it will be bright.
It will be healing.
Please check the Compassionate Friends in your area for the local chapter,
plan to attend,
and for those of you at home,
please plan to light your flames and join us
Sunday December 9th at 7pm.

The fire is burning this morning with a chill in the air, the sage is burning as prayers are going up for all in the prayer bowl and with hope on the wind for a healing holiday season.
May the Creator hold you gently as you feel the love of so many and strength to move into your day and these holidays knowing that hearts connected in life stay connected always.

We hold up our warriors,

Sorry to hear of all the troubles everyone is having. Makes me more than sad. I join my prayers with everyone else for all of this, and know there will be better days ahead. Just gettting to the "better day" can be a chore, and yet, the flu is nothing compared to really serious issues. Makes me mad to hear about everyone's battles this morning. Lighting that candle on Dec.9th--at 7:00, and thanks for your healing prayers for everyone, and STOMPING here!!!!

Well, got here late today and glad to see our friends here. "A", I saw your message late yesterday. Dr. Sherry you got that one in and I didn't come back to see. Thank you "A" for your sweet comments. I am always happy to hear of my friends rescuing their 4 legged furry friends from shelters and rescues. It really warms my heart. I also have 3 cats of my own who are special needs cats from rescue along with my adopted 23 year old Cockatiel from a neglected home. On top of those furries who just need a little TLC from time to time in a home. That is why I am later today. Stopped by the shelter after church to check on an adoption that was supposed to happen yesterday. New owner could not get there yesterday, due to late work, but made it today and one of our grand cats is in her new forever home tonight and being loved.

I am sorry to hear our friends here not feeling so well. "A" and Oshkosh, hope you will be feeling better very soon. Sandy, be careful and get those blood clots all cleared up soon and feel better. Holding you all in my prayers this day along with Dr. Sherry. Thank you so much for bringing news of events that are coming up like the candle lighting event for those precious ones on December 9.

Take care friends, have a very peaceful evening as you count your Blessings. Hugs sent to each of you. /Sandy♥
