WHEW... we can relax
Healing Heartaches, Stories of Loss and Life was delivered ... the final copy. The copy that will be shipped and sold and autographed and sold. Edits are complete; the editors, the author, the four-leggeds are tired but "over the moon" still with that wonderful excitement and joy.
I am in Charlotte and as you can see from the picture above, my editors are "relaxing" or so I can only imagine. heeehe
Reminds me of other times in life; times when the exhaustion sets in... sound familiar?
You run hard, stand strong until the main event is over
You are there when you need to be, doing what you need to do without complaint, without thought... but when all is done; all needs are met, you realize that you are just downright bone weary, but often unable to sleep
- You know the need for rest and balance is critical... but
- YOU cannot "catch up" on sleep, I think that is a myth!
- You do impact the balance of all that is exposed to you during the good/balanced/bad/happy times
- Perhaps when you go away to relax; it is those who have walked the road with you that get to really "sigh" and relax, restore and "rest"!!!
Have a wonderful week-end. Sitting in Charlotte feeling quite blessed as I realize that I am the recipient of so many who have walked intense journeys right along beside me, some that were scary and downright dark... Those are the journey's that make you know the Wizard of Oz is truly everywhere you are...
