Focus ON... Making a difference living the parable

Kamryn's "tight" haircut 2012 by his sylist here Mr. Angel!
Brings to mind this morning how we all can make a difference in the lives of others if we were to live the
"Parable of the Starfish" of long ago.
Each of us, can make a difference to another, one at a time, with desire, compassion, kindness and focus. Never let another sway you on the road of intention, of Hope, of faith.
Have a blessed day, I hope you enjoy each moment.
THE PARABLE OF THE STARFISH:
One morning a man was walking on a deserted beach after the storms. He came upon a girl there and she was surrounded by thousands of starfish. As quickly as she could, she was picking them up and throwing them back to Mother Ocean. She was focused, she was intent and was oblivious to the man.
Puzzled the man looked at her and asked, "What in the world are you doing?"
She was startled by him and his questions and without looking up she said, "I'm trying to save these starfish Mr."
The man chuckled outloud and stated, "There are thousands of starfish and only one of you. What difference can it make?"
She stood and looked him in the eye while holding a starfish as she gently tossed it in the ocean and replied,
"IT MADE A DIFFERENCE TO THAT ONE"!
..
You can make a difference if you want to, if you focus, if you choose to.
...
Remember those or that one who made a difference for YOU?
Time to Pay it Forward I'm hoping
...

Hello Dr. Sherry and friends here. So good to see your words and thank you. I love the parable of the starfish. It is similar to the message we have in a mural on the cat room door at the shelter. It says "adopting one cat will not change the world but it will change the world for that one cat." It is so true! Do we make a difference in the world around us? Hmm, good thing to keep in mind every day.
Thank you for your prayers as they continue for my Great grandson Peyton. He has gone 3 weeks without a seizure. I appreciate and am grateful for those prayers. I continue to hold those in prayer who request here. Wishing each of you a wonderful and peaceful Sunday. /Sandy♥
