"Full Speed Ahead" says Billy Ray

Today the thunder beings and lightning are having a party here in Florida, they've been at it all night lighting up the skies and it looks like it has no plans to quit any time soon!
The 4 leggeds have barked til' the point of getting the human up to check for intruders in the middle of the night as thunder rolled,
the pool needed drained and the rains fall.
YET
in Southwest Virginia,
a Veteran home from Afghanistan named
Billy Ray and his beautiful wife Yvonne are now home from the hospital after his recent homecoming diagnosis of
Brain Cancer.
He now has sent word to Mom/Dot/Cob
with a smile on his face while happy to be home from "prodding/sticking/probing"
"FULL STEAM AHEAD"
as he wants everyone to know that it is good to be home with his beloved wife and on the soil of the USA.
He sounds like a remarkable man and a warrior of the finest kind who has stood for our country and now I ask all around the globe who read this here,
STAND FOR BILLY RAY AND YVONNE,
as he now is in a battle for his precious life.

CANCER SUCKS.

IF
we can develop into the best and most advanced country in the world
I still do not understand why we cannot find the cure for cancers.
We can develop Iphone, Ipads, I everythings yet Cancer strikes and plays hardball with folks that have beautiful souls and sacrifice for our countries and do extraordinary things daily.
Cancer does not care if you are an infant, a baby, a teen, adult, old person.
It can and has welcomed a soldier home from war with no regard that he is a good man,
a man in love with a woman and that finally they have met their life long companion, best friend and lover with the hopes of living a long and joyous life together.
Thousands are diagnosed each day.
Cancer does not care who they are, what they do have done, might do one day.
CANCER SUCKS.

I ask that you take a moment and sent healing thoughts and energy to this couple, to this veteran who has fought for our freedoms and keep him surrounded with hope and prayers.
There's is a journey,
and they are going "full speed ahead".
Their attitude is that of warriors,
of a man on yet another mission and his wife who is at his side, who has his back,
and who will not be a victim.
THEY WILL NOT GO DOWN without a damn strong fight.
Once again in battle, and making a choice
to stand UP to Cancer
and not to crawl into a hole of despair.
I admire both and their attitudes.
Warriors.
I pray they embrace the knowledge that it is truly not the number of breaths we take,
but the moments that take their breaths away on this journey of life they are walking hand in hand.
Billy Ray you are an inspiration along with your beautiful wife Yvonne.
We are thinking about and holding you both in the arms of the angels as you speed full tilt ahead on the waters and the mountains.
SOAR

You know, I have thought this LOTS of times over the years. When trouble comes in our lives, as we all have something that causes burdens and anxiety---I have thought to myself---"But someone somewhere is fighting the fight of cancer, SO buck up and shut up, you, (REMINDING MYSELF) do not have an issue in life such as theirs". Everything, to me, pales in the light of cancer and death. I hate them both, and both of them set me ablaze with hot anger. All sicknesses anger me...

Now you all gonna think I am nuts, BUT many a time I have wished: If I were wealthy, (and I mean big time, honkin wealthy)---cause it would take TONS of money---then I would buy this fleet of trucks--I mean a FLEET--20 or more, and we would roll down the highways carrying WHATEVER people needed, and just start making stops at this house, that house, and build some small houses across the USA as a place for the drivers to exchange their shifts. Run it 24 hours a day --7 days a week---365 days a year. Comes with a crew in each truck that makes repairs to homes, weed flower beds, clean houses, and on and on. Just "things", "items",and
"services" people might need as they tolerate severe health issues in their lives. When the crew finished their job at one house, then they hop in the truck and move on down to the next stop. AND even this would not be enough for those in need.
Sorry this is probably gonna be too long--but can't see how long it is gonna be, cause of this "little dumb box"... but if it wasn't for this little dumb box, then we all could not be warrior-ing in the SAME UNITED PLACE, could we?? Soo---thankful for this little dumb box too!!!!
Hope I did not make a fool of myself----I know we all do what we can to help others in need, but I just would love to be a part of some BIG making people's life easier organization. And I mean big, and stopping all these sickness related issues and dilemas in people's lives, and their families lives that comes with health problems. I do what I can on a small scale, but small scale don't seem to be big enough!!!!
