Sunday Morning Quotes of Others!!! (Lazy me)

"What the heart has once owned and had, it shall never lose." Henry Ward Beecher

"Life is to be lived to its fullest so that death is just another chapter. Memories of our lives, our works, and our deeds will continue in others" Rosa Parks

"In one sense there is no death. The life of a soul on earth lasts beyond his/her departure. You will always feel that life touching yours, that voice speaking to you, that spirit looking out of other eyes, talking to you in the familiar things she/he touched, worked with, loved as familiar friends. The soul lives on in your life and in the lives of all others that knew him/her." Angelo Patri

"May I try to tell you again where your only comfort lies? It is not in forgetting the happy past. People bring us well-meant but miserable consolations when they tell us what time will do to help our grief. We do not want to lose our grief because our grief is bound up with out love and we could not cease to mourn without being robbed of our affections." Phillip Brooks, 1835-1893 from a letter to his friend!

Well there you have it on this beautiful 1st day of November in sunny Florida!  I don't know about you but I am wondering what in the world happened to people like Phillip, and what happened to our way of thinking since 1893!!! For as I live and breathe, we as a civilized nations are not usually so in touch and in tune with such intimate feelings and thoughts of loss, heartache and grief~~~~~

Blessings to you and those you love.

I wish you enough,
Walk In Beauty

I especially liked the last quote. That is exactly what I have felt. I want to "get over it" but I am afraid I will not remember all these specific things that fill my mind abour him. It's been awhile and I still love him. Maybe more because he is not here. I read your posts everyday and there is always something that helps me feel better, no...stronger.
