Ahhhh, what a feeling

And She
FLEW

Great morning it is~
Fabulous I tell you,
spent Sunday on Lake Tarpon and what a day it was with extended family
Great, I mean off the hook wonderful day.
NOW
are you ready for this?

Went straight across that lake to see the eagles nest, to find it among the lush trees now that fall is here, and decided to drop the ole' anchor
and just the moment I did that and looked up

THERE SHE CAME, TO GREET US
Amazing Grace,
and then took to her regal place on top of the tree to watch over us.

Later on in the day, other boats would come
and the Eagle would "disappear", and once they would grow tired of looking (that didn't take long patience is not easy I think for some)
that Eagle would come back,

Taking flight and this time with another ONE
and the two of them appeared from the trees
and soared high overhead and came toward us
circling overhead not once,
but
THREE TIMES
counterclockwise
and then took positions in the tree,
each proudly displaying those white heads and sitting...
We of course had chills, soar throats from the screams of
"thank you" and waving at them our
appreciation!!!
About the time we would engage in conversation I would let out a
OMG
and there were 3 that took flight,
and then
4
and then
one swooped right in front of us with those magnificent talons touching the waters
as if to let us know
we
"are dancing and blessing you"
and it was like that all day
ALL DAY
for us ~

Eagle teaches us many things and represents more, those who receive gifts from Eagle and Eagle is a reminder of our connection to spirit.

We laughed, we rejoiced in the gifts, we were thankful.
Did I mention... there were 4 of us on that boat?
and we had 4 Eagles who danced, swooped,
circled and were there
for eyes only
on that most amazing day of love
and togetherness?

"A very great vision is needed and the man who has it must follow it as the eagle seeks the deepest blue of the sky.”
- Crazy Horse, Sioux Chief -

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing
I wish you enough
to Look UP
to look around
To always walk
with HOPE
in your Heart
and goodness

The fire is burning brightly today and its embers are hot with thoughts on the winds to all whose names were seen here yesterday and are etched in my heart always.
STOMP
Walk In Beauty,
DRSES
That is the hope in
Healing Heartaches

Amazing IS the word for that special experience. Many go through their whole lives and never see an eagel except in pictures. What a special experience. So glad it was with special people in your life. Amazing the messages spirit sends. The picture is fabulous, the experience once in a lifetime. Priceless. Greetings to all who gather here on this special Monday morning. Cooler now, sun still bright. Another perfect day.

The Eagle is awesome and we need to treat it with respect. I think of it as I think of our flag, they need to fly each day. I remember well the day my departed friend and I was sitting on the porch looking at the river and lo and behold there was a Eagle swooping down and then over the field right next to the LA home. What a wonderful feeling, I look forever for it to return as I know it will one of these days. Just hope I dont miss it. I have also sat in a boat for hours and watched the Eagle swoop from one tree to the other and then take a solo flight. How wonderful and amazing. Another great picture.

I will go out for my walk today after reading the comments. You can find beauty anywhere if you look up. So many times we just look downwards and see the ground, nothing, but if you don't look up you will surely miss something. When we were taking our hikes in Colorado I finally had to tell the group, walk on, I felt I was missing out on what was around me at that moment by concentrating on what I was going to see at the end of the hike. My husband and I just sat and became quiet, listening and looking at what was around us. It was a very special time. One I will never forget.

The very nature of eagles, have a way of demanding our attention and respect.
