 ~ ROLLING THUNDER ~ STOMP
D.C. ROLLING TODAY
 I AM SURE
AS WE REMEMBER
Today it will sound as if the Thunder Being are drumming... It will be electric in Washington DC... And Rolling Thunder will ROLL in... On Motorcycles; in procession ... they actually arrived yesterday I'm thinking, meeting up at the Pentagon if memory serves me right!
Rolling Thunder...
Mom says she saw some of them in Southwest Virginia headed North on Thursday; a sight to behold, shiny Harleys/bikes, proud, American Flags, POW/MIA flags off the back of bikes/Harleys and headed North to DC for their annual ride to the Vietnam Veterans Wall and later to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the wreath laying.
Rolling THunder... they visited my little friend Walter, in Heaing Heartaches! I love me some Rolling Thunder!
Rolling Thunder members are old and young, men and women, veterans and non-veterans. All are united in the cause to bring full accountability for POWs and MIAs of all wars, they are "guardians" and often remind the world, the public and the government, the media  “We Will Not Forget.”
By Memorial Day weekend in 1988, approximately 2,500 motorcycles from all over the country converged on Washington, D.C. to demand from our leaders a full accounting of all POW/MIA's. As they made their stand that day in front of the Capitol, Artie and Ray (the founders of Rolling Thunder) reflected thankfully to the people who came in support of the POW's and MIA's, and for the unity that was felt.
This was Rolling Thunder's first gathering.
Only until ALL POW/MIA's ARE ACCOUNTED FOR, it will not be their last.
On that day, the foundation was laid for the annual "Ride for Freedom" to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall (also referred to as the "Ride to the Wall").
The number of participants/spectators in the Memorial Day weekend Ride for Freedom has grown from 2,500 to an estimated 900,000 ~
Rolling THunder ~ be sure to wave when you see em on the road this week-end ~
Most are vets, many are family of VETS, all are with good hearts . . .
They made a young boy named Walter, live until dying his dream come true riding a Harley and a day spectacular...
"We Will Remember Walter"
I remember with loving fondness my ride in Rolling THunder Memorial Day... {{{sigh}}}.

HAVE A BLESSED AND GREAT DAY TODAY.
I WISH YOU ALL THAT YOU DARE TO DREAM,
MAY YOUR DAY BE FILLED WITH GRATITUDE
GREAT FRIENDS
WONDERFUL TIMES
A FLAG THAT FLIES IN THE GENTLE BREEZES
FUN TIMES
HAMBURGERS AND HOT DOGS AND CHICKEN WINGS ON THE GRILL
MUSIC BLARING
DANCING ON BOATS
DOING FLIPS IN THE WATER
JOYOUS REUNIONS
REMEMBRANCE

After that video... there is nothing left to say...
except for what I said... Wado ~

The fire is burning brightly and the prayer bowl is filled with your names; thoughts and prayers on the wind to the Fallen, to the memories of loved ones...
AND
to all of you... YOU ALL know who you are, your names are here daily and the names of those you think of fondly and with the strength of a Warrior ~
Love on the wind
We are together ... always together in the greater circle with some powerful angels both on this side and in the next place... coming together to be with you always.
STAND UP, know you are never ever alone.
We are here together, right here, right now.
STOMP!

Rolling Thunder is indeed a sight to behold. There will be according to the news 500,000 people in Washington with the Rolling Thunder. They are awesome with those big bikes shining and the riders oh so dedicated to their cause. I can see them now doing what they do for their fallen brothers and sisters. We all have our heroes and they are one of mine. Pray for them to have a successful journey to D. C. and back to their homes. Fly that flag and shake a hand of any soldier you see and thank them for protecting us, and pray we protect them when they need us. Visit your local Veterans home and you will see what has happened and you can always put a smile on their face just with a big hug and blessings.

I am horoning the fallen who valiantly fought for the freedoms we have that others do not enjoy. Today I personally remember William "Brownie" Brown US Marine WWII who served in Guadalicanal, Tinian and Sipan, Vincent "Vinnie" Scelzo who lived 50 years with a plate in his head after storming a beach in France, Enso "Biggi" Biginatti a Rear Gunner WWII who was the first ever to escape on foot from the German Death March, John Lyons killed in Viet Nam having never met his infant son, Ross Collins, VietNam, an 18 year old teenage soldier, and many friends who lived lives forever changed by their service.
I honor each of these beloved freedom fighters and every other man and woman who have served in the armed forces, to insure our freedoms.
Today I light a candle and send a prayer of sincere thanks.
