HOW to: Thoughts on the POstive OUtlook thing!

NOW, That's What I'm Talkin' About
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
Spider Had To Have A Positive Attitude
To Make That Work of Art

Good morning MORNING... Here I am, waiting for the sun to shine... Waiting to hear, please let me hear that Dr Lyn Rogers and Sue and Lily the Black Bear have found little cub HOPE safe out there in Ely MN... Although it was beginning to not sound as though the news will be good when last I checked, I will maintain HOPE...
I will also accept that if something has indeed happened to our beautiful cub ... I will grieve for Lily as I know that bears grieve like us humans... and that a beautiful North American Black Bear will be grieving her baby HOPE a baby that was born under the lens of thousands across the globe and has been loved ever since Jan 22, 2010 ~ oh how I HOPE she is up a tree being mischievious... I am grateful to Dr Lyn Rogers and Sue Mansfield for all the work being done at http://www.bear.org/ in their work for and with the North American Black Bears... and God knows I am captured by Lily and HOPE...
The world is frantic... 96k plus fans are wringing their hands, stuck again to their computers, crying, pacing, grieving, arguing with each other; even blaming LILY for her mothering skills or lack thereof... and overall worrying themselves sick...
Seems baby HOPE has gotten herself separated from Mom Lily 4 days ago... far tooo long now... a search party is in the woods, Lily is looking ... all are looking for HOPE...
Sue Mansfield has even been sleeping in her car near where HOPE was last seen... bet she hasn't slept in days... Our hearts are heavy, our minds are racing... our worst fears ... NO NO NO
HOPE, STOMP, PRAY, AND LET THE SPIRIT AND THE POWER OF THE UNIVERSE TAKE CARE OF THIS...
Where in the world can the little trickster be?  I jumped on the facebook fanpage of Lily and HOPE briefly and read some of the posts there. I posted and asked all to please change their focus... shift the focus from self to visualizing HOPE... to see HOPE as found, as OK, to use bear spirit... and I HOPE she is found safely...

I hope you are all having a great beginning to your day... Makes me think of being positive, of choosing to change your focus, change your "state" if you will. How bout' that photo I was able to get of the positive attitude of that spider who chose to build right over my pool? Impressive I think of such an industrious web with a prime location dead center of the pool high up too ~ Happened to catch it when the light was just right and then waited until I thought the light incredible to shoot a photo of it...

Positive Outlook Anyone?

Let’s start with the absolute funniest and most optimistic outlook I’ve ever heard.

Man jumps off a 40 story building and half-way down saysSo far so good”.

Well my friends, that may be optimism in extreme, but it does make a point.

Every event has more than one way to view it. Some choose to see the dark lining in the silver cloud, and I like to see the silver, even when it is raining so hard you can not possibly make a the cloud at all.
This is not the first time we have talked about optimism, and no, it most likely won’t be the last. STOMP... say YES, to your day, to your life!
As we know, life is uncertain.
But what is certain, is that we make it what it is.
Fear feeds on pessimism at times has a feast.
We won’t do what we are afraid of.
If we expect a horrible outcome, we probably will not even consider the opportunity before us.

After all, if you are destined to fail, why try? If you can’t reach your goal, what is the point in putting any energy behind the impending failure?
If failure is the prediction, it makes sense to kick back and do nothing.
We are after all sensible people…. most of the time ~

Now let’s turn that around.
If we see some positive outcome, if we just know we cannot fail, and with even greater certainty, we can do this thing better than anyone has ever even imagined, then there is no reason not to do it.
Do it well, do it now, chalk up one more certain success.
Do you see how this works?
It’s all in the way we see it.
The old glass half full, or perpetually half empty makes all the difference in the world.

All the difference in our lives.

You can shake off old bad habits by practicing new ones until you make them your own.
While you may have been studying the clouds to forecast the worst storm in history; the optimist has grabbed the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow you never saw. S/He too saw the rain cloud, but knew deep in the soul that the storm would come, and the rainbow would follow it. So who promised us a life with no storms?

The storms will come, the storms will go, but we treasure the silver linings in those clouds, the rainbows behind the rain.
We are optimistic.
Because we choose the best life for ourselves. Because optimism is contagious and we are always about infecting everyone with the best life has to offer.

For those of you riding out your own personal storm, not sure the sun will ever shine again. I promise you that it will. I know it is hard to trust me on this... dig deep and try.

Know that this is a moment in time.
A sad moment, your heart is heavy.
Be kind to you, but know in your heart that you will not always feel this way.
That time will allow you to once again look for the sunshine instead of standing stock still drowning in today’s storm.
Look for the lessons, open yourself to the blessings, even when it seems there are none. You are blessed. You must believe that until you are strong enough to count them. Look to the rainbow... it will find you someday even when you are not looking...

Recognize a bad moment, or a series of bad, awful moments for what they are.
Do not lose your ability to look to the future with the clear knowledge that tomorrow will be better.
That your joy will return in it’s own time.
That you will not always feel the way you do today.
That you need not accept the pessimist’s promise that you wallow in self doubt, self pity, and deep dark misery until your life is done. Focus on the hope for the brighter tomorrow that awaits you right around the corner. Know that it will come.

I do not recommend anyone test the 80 floor jump to determine if they are truly an optimist, but I do suggest you do a self assessment.          Think about it.
Are you more likely to expect a poor outcome than a positive one? BE HONEST NOW... your inner guide is listening...

Do you feel defeated before you start?
Is your life view dismal? If so, you owe it to yourself and everyone you influence, everyone you interact with to make a significant change in your attitude.    are ya feelin me here???

Your life will improve immediately if your attitude is positive.
If you give yourself permission, rather insist, that you will no longer feed negative mental habits. They are self destructive. They make your life less than it can be. Less than it should be.

                    Live a good life.
Filled with all the positive energy and attitudes readily available to you.
It is a choice you make in your heart, spirit and  mind.

Catch yourself when you return to your gloom and doom predictions.
Turn it around.
It will become a new way of thinking and living. We each have the ability to do this. Own your own power to live your life in a better manner.
STAND UP ~ STOMP ~ SAY YES ~

Be well, think positive thoughts. Smile more than you frown. Laugh more often than you cry, or at least with as much passion. This day is meant to be a good day. Make this day all it is can be. Make your move, be the change you want for YOU, just because you can ~

Hey, I could be that one that says "so far so good". Love the bright light of optimism. I do take this to extremes at times, but it beats the alternative. Great Blog and thanks for the update on little Hope. How does anyone think predicting the worse uplifts all those searching for that litle cub. I do have a balanced attitude toward all possible outcomes, it's a wonder that any little creature can make it in the wild, but they do. Because of Dr.Rogers and his crew we have had a wonderful shared experience and learned things about bears we would never have known. So thanks for that. I remain optimistic.

HOPE... HOPE.... and know that we can not cry for what is, but embrace what has been... and know that nature and the wild is very different that that of human life in 2010... trust and know that the Universe has its way of taking care of things... and above all the energy of that many must remain HOPE ful. thanks Doc for keepin it real here. HOPE all knows you speak from bear spirit when you soothe the hearts of so many. Prayers for Lily the North American Black Bear and baby HOPE.

Good morning all! ..Ahhh...little Hope...we will wait anxiously to hear. Positive attitude..well, I'm trying today. I am POSITIVE that eventually the headache will fade, that the workday will end, and that this weekend will be a fantastic time filled with friends and love. I once heard a funny:
"Attitude Check: I hate this place"
"POSITIVE Attitude Check: I POSITIVELY hate this place!".....makes me laugh...

I remind myself....This too shall pass....now, it may pass like a kidney stone...but it will pass LOL....Hope I'm making people laugh!!!!

Love and blessings to you all......

Loving the positive attitude today! I try and reframe everything into a positive light when it is happening, instead of waiting until the bad is over and looking back and understanding why the bad things were happening. I think it can be dangerous to look back too often, especially when self evaluating.

Good morning ! POSITVEly
uplifting blog today... and so true..
my tendency is to search ffor the good and
POSITIVE in all things, perhaps too the point
of exhaustion and beating myself up
on the days when I feel sooo sad...
I could not live without my
RAINBOWS.... HOPE ....
I am also looking her safety...
she is the example of a miracle from the start,
no reason she will change her ways now...
Today will be another great day, despite
the inner turmoil we all deal with at one time
or another... both feet on the ground and
waking up to the sound of nature...
POSITVEly,
a step in the right direction...I am thankful
for all I have,
all of which I have lost,
BRING IT ON... WE ARE WARRIORS...
this I am POSITIVE of..
love to HOPE, and to all who make this
page possible,
" you know who are ! "
May ALL THE ANGELS be with you today
and fill your day with HAPPINESS !
