CREATURE FEATURE in the MIddle of the WEEK

Magic profiling
Wearing his Purple Heart

Creature Feature for humans this morning. Good morning morning, coffee is great, wanna join me for a cup? We almost took off and went to Marco Island over the week-end just to get away from the quiet, and to enjoy the beauty there... but then decided nah, might as well stay home ~ Beauty right here to try and enjoy!

Gettin hot early and stayin hot here in Florida... Love this hot weather... still adjusting here, as is everyone in the home, the little ones are deciding the tribal leader... seems Gypsy is emerging as the "one" funny she is the littliest of the tribe! They have yet to have a NASCAR morning since Magic crossed over; perhaps they are "standing down" until the right time ~

Seems yesterdays thoughts brought out some wonderful and new peeps for the LilyPad, and I am just tickled, I welcome you all here where you are with some powerful Warriors...

Those who visit here on a regular basis know that we have watched the amazing story of Lily and Hope the North American Black Bears unfold under the watchful eye of a gazillion folks. Had hoped they would meander over to my Facebook Fan page, but now sorta glad they didn't ... too much goin on for me, if you feel me on that one!  The ones who have joined there and here, they are real with hearts of gold, and people are where they want or need to be I guess. Lily now has more than 97 thousand on her page on Facebook! Now that is quite impressive ... since she can't be found to comment most of the time... nor does she write her own thoughts on a daily basis... Gotta learn more from that Lily I tell ya...

We have all learned so much from this event and send a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rogers and Sue for all their hard work.  I often wonder how they are coping with all the fame, interference and often critter-sizing they now have to be dealing with... with becoming known mean becoming a target often; every move being scrutanized, every thought being second guessed...

I am amazed at the abundance of nature programs at out fingertips. With the push of a button on the remote control, we can see dolphins, eagles, hummingbirds, whales, seals, polar bears, snakes and almost every living creature up close and great detail in their natural habitat.

Remember Olivia’s sharing the details of the jelly Fish with us not so long ago. Nana's girl just turned 10 yesterday . . . oh my . . . too fast I tell ya, just too fast ... She had no new news on Jelly Fish, but will keep us posted ~

Is this age of information just too wonderful? Animal Planet, National Geographic, and a plethora of other sources ours for the asking.

I love the photography. We see obscure locations in the Amazon, the Arctic Circle, deep in the ocean and every region and world with all their splendor.

I applaud and celebrate every brave and curious adventurer for the pictures and info they bring back to us.
We can view the human heart (even got to see pictures of my own with the wires in there and all!), marvel at medical miracles, see humming- birds feed, hydroponic plants grown, distant planets, and the earth from space.
Not many years ago these descriptions were in a few still photos and the written word.

Now how accessible this information is to us all. Yet another reason to be grateful for the times we live in.

It’s so easy now to see and understand so much more about the creatures that share our planet. I am awed and pleased to have the privilege of learning from so many gifted photographers, researchers, those just living their lives and writers and muscicians.

Amazing animals, amazing planet, amazing times.

STOMP ~ S t o m P   s  T   O  M  P ~

And for all of that, I give thanks, and so it is...
and I wonder,
Will humans finally "get it", finally understand the art and science of kindness in all things...
For the most part it is rather basic it seems; to observe and honor without judgment; to remember the differences of the animal world vs. the 2010 human world and the emotions of same... To treat each other with the same respect, dignity, honor and trust that we would like to see extended to the winged ones, the four-leggeds, the sea-life, and the trees and land that we walk upon...

Bears are solitary for the most part; with great spirit, playfulness, humor if you will ~ they can know trust and kindness... Just look at what Dr Lyn Rogers has done for the bear world with "It's me Bear" as he lay in the woods beside a North American Bear with pure intention... of kindness and HOPE.
"We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of animals... In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth." ~ Henry Beston ~

Humans can be kind, of pure intention, of trusting nature... they can love deeply, live passionately, and dance in the rain during times of great gladness and deepest sorrows...
We need not judge them for either...

The fire is burning and its embers are hot... thoughts on the wind today of HOPE, strength, resiliency and laughter...

We are together in prayer, in thoughts of all that is needed to remind you out there, we are WARRIORS... we are with you, along with some powerful angels... May you find comfort in knowing we are with you always:

Heading ouy expecting a fast day. Great pic of Magic, It will be neat to see how the other four leggeds work out their new order..
It is amazing how much and how quickly we can know so much about all the creatures with TV and internet. I agree that it seems silly, we are more protective of the creatures on our plant than respectful of the people on it. Saw a special on the oil spill efforts and the turtles just this weekend. I applaud their efforts to protect the wildlife and the coast. Unsung heros that deserve our thanks.

Beautiful Magic, I see him now frolicing and barking at the great wonders across Rainbow Bridge. I am sure the others will keep things going for each other while they are deciding who the new leader of the pack is going to be. Hope it is not raining again this day, altho a good walk in the rain is good for our soul. I worry about the pic. of the animals in the oil spill. The fishermen who has lost their income and the BP people still lying to all of us. Where is Irene? She better get up and start STOMPING. Good blog thanks Dr. SES

Morning Cuz...Great pic of Magic~~
I thought maybe Mz. Patches would step up and take the lead but I guess she is still living the "Fab" life as she did when she lived w/Dot :) So we all know that means staying on the DL (down low) and sleeping the day away~~
Kam talks about Magic every day and remembers lots of things they use to do when they were together and his eyes get so big telling the stories then he gets sad and goes in his room. He also keeps Magic in his prayers and he says he is up in Heaven w/Great Granny & George~~
Kam also reminded me the other day that Magic was the only dog I was not allergic too!! Things kids remember.
I hope u have a beautiful day and enjoy the sunshine. Try to bottle some up in case it gets cloudy when I arrive!! :)
Luv ya Cuz~~
