CURE MS NOW

Yep this is a page of WARRIORS... We STOMP, we cry,
we fight the fights all right.

The four leggeds are having a party this morning. Yesterday Jeepers had his first official "swim" as I lay on the float he wanted to give me a smooch in the pool... soooo he came real close and was just a tail waggin... soooo
I invited him aboard my float ~ ~ ~
And he came!
So after a bit, I decided it was time for his
"rite of passage" and he swam!
Not liking it too much: ears back!
And after he had the best of baths, smells ever so sweet this morning he does...
Gypsy didn't want any part of the swim meet, so she retreated to the inside, but got her bath anyways... Can't have her smellin like a billy goat... And little Sneaky Apache Patches got her a bath too...
The little tribe all now smelling just as sweet as can be!

I'm in training for Sunday... yep, doin my arm exercises for the Car Wash... gettin my tan on, and my attitude wrapped around the focus and did I remind you ...
MS SUCKS!

We have mighty warriors on this page... The photo of my family here today Laura and Mitch are two fine Warriors indeed.
Laura and Mitch at Laura's past birthday which we celebrated this year at Chateau Waffle-House in Tarpon Springs!
Nothing is too good for our Laura; Dorothy reserved the whole joint just for us to celebrate as we were the only ones there for our special dinner and a home-made
"Death-by Chocolate Cake with
Animal Crackers on parade on the top"!
And a fine assortment of colored what-u-call-Its sprinkled in the middle if memory serves me right... Stay tuned for the photo of the same Mitch and Laura with chocolate on their teeth tomorrow.. Charming to be sure....
And to think
Last year we took them to the 5 star renowned Bascom STeak House for a celebration!\/
go figure

Emotion is motion my friends
So get up and smile while you start today
Smile and stick your tongue out & make a funny face even yell if ya want too or laugh out loud.
It's OK, I'll wait, cos' I have news for ya.

IT IS GOOD THAT YOU DID THAT.

TRUST ME, I'M A THERAPIST!

MS UPDATE:

There is a Dr Zamboni who is on a personal mission to cure MS... He found that excess iron may be a possible cause of MS> which happened to dovetail with some previous research he had been doing on how a buildup of iron can damage blood vessels in the legs.
Could it be that a buildup of iron was somehow damaging blood vessels in the brain?
After treating his wife as she began a downward spiral after a diagnosis of MS he went on to study 65 patients with relapsing/remitting MS and identified blood-drainage blockages in the brain and unblocked them!
It seems that the veins from the brain looked like spaghetti noodles before being unblocked (an Italian figuring the noodle thing out Laura says is quite comical).  Seems it's a standard and relatively risk free operation and the results were immediate! More than 73% of the patients are completely free of the symptoms of MS two years after the operation and in the three years since the surgery Dr Zamboni's wife has not had an attack! More studies must be done, of course most agree that the results thus far have been very positive. Dr Zamboni is finding that more than 90% of people with MS have some sort of malformation or blockage in the veins that drain blood from the brain, including his wife.
He named the problem CCSVI, or
Chronic Cerebro Spinal Venous Insufficiency.

Did you know that a duck's quack doesn't echo and no one knows why it doesn't?

So back to Laura and MS... I know for a fact that Laura is a NEEDLE PHOBIC... really bad cry baby about needles she is... AND she has to have a godawful shot each week that Mitch gives her of Interferon that gives her a terrible weakness in the knees, makes her cry, and have headache and just feel like crap...
BUT
she would let that doc open her brain in a swift heartbeat... I know that too.
So come on out on Sunday, or have a car wash, a bake sale, a fun-0-raiser in your town to CURE MS for Laura and all the others that are living with this disease... and let's end it.

This MS thing is messing with some wonderful brains out there...
And
our brains are magnificent gifts we were born with, our brain just sits there eagerly awaiting our next desire and command you know.
A brain without MS is capable of processing up to 30 billion bits of information per second and it boast the equivalent of 6,000 miles of wiring and cabling.  You've heard me talk about the "nuwati" your nervous system remember?
Well my friends that nervous system... contains about 28 billion neurons (nerve cells designed to conduct impulses)! Without neurons our nervous systems, our Nuwati would be unable to interpret the information we receive through our sense organs, unable to convey it to the brain and unable to carry out the instructions from the brain as to what we are wanting and trying to do!
Are you feeling me?

MS SUCKS

And on that note, I leave you with this thought...

In what one environmentalist described as "yet another public relations disaster" for embattled energy giant BP, CEO Tony Hayward has taken time off Saturday to attend a glitzy yacht race around England's Isle of Wight....
{guess he wanted to see his little yacht Bob win! Isn't that cute?)
Spokeswoman Sheila Williams said on Saturday that Hayward took a break so he could watch his boat "Bob" participate in the JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race. She added that "Hayward is very much in charge until we've stopped the leak."

Robert Wine, a BP spokesman in Houston, said it was the first break Hayward has had since the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded on April 20, killing 11 people and starting the oil leak.
{his first break since 11 died, since many were injured, since many have lost their way of life, since our gulf is being poisoned, our sea-life and ways of life threatened, since Mother Earth herself threatened... } C'mon Tony, buck up buddy... sell that yacht and give some dough to the folks that need some help ...

The fire is burning brightly and its embers are hot...
Sending healing thoughts of strength, humor, and light to you and yours on this beautiful morning...

We are together in prayer, in thoughts of all that is needed to remind you out there, we are WARRIORS... we are with you, along with some powerful angels... May you find comfort in knowing that we stand strong when we stand together:

28 BILLION neurons... How is there room in my head for that many of anything? The brain is an amazing machine. I think mine wakes up well after I start my day. Sad to say. So now the question is how iron accumulates there. Thank the Great Spirit that there are researchers like Dr. Zamboni. STOMP.Only 4 more days before the car wash. I for one am hoping for a MOST successful day raising funds for this important research.
As for Tony and his yacht "BOB", don't get me started....What, no off shore drillling near the Isle of Wright?
So on a positive note, Let's get everybody engaged in some real momentum for doing our part, with healing the gulf, and curing MS.

Sign me, Nanny of the week. Go Dr. SES get those arms going for the car wash. I get mine going from 8yr. old boy at 6:30am each morning. I have to pull his legs, rub his back, pull his arms and then give him a piggy back ride on my back to the bathroom. This is how he starts his day with a giggle and a firm hold on my neck. Oh my aching limbs from sleeping with a little boy who misses his Mom just a tiny bit as we stay busy. Me busy, running to say what do you want now. It has been fun and he is a fun kid, but my Granny always said it is good to go but coming back home to my bed is also good. Want be doing that anytime soon, Fri. is a long way off. Go wash those cars and let everyone know MS SUCKS and the good Dr. will finally come up with something to cure all. BP want go there as the comment box is not big enough. Hope Yacht sinks with BP CEO. Have a Happy Day.
