MY SWEET AMERICA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
MY SWEET AMERICA
HOME OF THE FREE
BECAUSE WE HAVE THE BRAVE
I GOT MY WARPAINT ON
I'M READY TO FLY!

Good morning! Click here... I wait for ya!

Wasn't that JUST AWESOME....

Wanna see it AGAIN?
Happy BIRTHDAY MY SWEET AMERICA!!!

Coffee is splendid this morning... Babies love running in the rains of this week, seems they just don't get it til' they finally feel wet under all that fur! Too funny are they.

Maybe the Creator has cried all the tears combining joy and sadness for the events of the week. Joy of welcoming two warriors home; the fallen of Tampa; sadness of the cruelty of the world and seeing the pain their leaving has caused those still here.
The fallen of Tampa Police Officers
DavidCurtis and Jeff Kocab
have been laid to rest; their funerals over...
The procession was awe-inspiring... breathtaking, and tears fall still in Tampa along with the rains. The Creator has cried all week it seems and the Thunder Gods are angry.
Mayor Iorio, Chief Castor and The Tampa PD
my feather is tipped, to you, courage under stress, amazing grace witnessed by millions; a community is proud.
My heart is filled.
To the families:
My heart is around you, my prayers and thoughts are with you and with our community in Unity for healing, for hope and for
the courage to embrace each day,
each moment with
opportunity, love and passion;
 as both these
men did in their lives
and \
now are doing
from the other side running with others they now have joined
 THE THIN BLUE LINE\
May The Creator Bless YOU Both you are heros, the fallen, the brave, you have done outstanding jobs here, your legacies left to remember, to honor and to live on with pride.
Curtis and Kocab, two of TPD finest
who died in the line of Duty.
The families will heal the heartaches... they will have the help of those warriors who died in the line of service and honor. They just need time and care and support that is ongoing. They need hope in healing.

Happy 4th of July America.

BP SUCKS

BUT

TODAY: we celebrate AMERICA
Happy Happy Birthday sweet America
Today
WE SHOUT, JUMP UP AND SAY "YES" TO THE LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.

Today
We Remember the FIRST AMERICANS
Today
We fire up the grills
HOPE the sun comes out
Find friends and/or family
and
HAVE A PARTY

I am just GIDDY over this day, can't wait to see the fireworks...
and
on Monday the FAMILY arrives from Virginia!
Woo Hoo
We are going to have the best of times, yep just the absolute best of times.

But
TODAY,
STOMP
S   T   O   M   P
with gratefulness
with gratitude
with grand joy

Choose to embrace happiness over sorrow
Choose to chart you path for a great moment
Choose to be the Warrior Within
Choose your movement, your fluidity of motion
Choose to be all that you are

Choose to step into the light!
Dance in the sun or the rain!
Celebrate America

The eagle symbolizes protection “Eagles traditionally represent strength, courage, farsightedness, and immortality, and wings symbolize forward movement, swiftness, and protection. You may get a little scorched being so close to the sun, but that's the price you pay for the view!"
And the thing about Eagle is this:
You have to...
you just
HAVE TO
look UP to see her soar, to feel the majesty, the wonder, the awe...
In the face of trauma, uncertainty, disaster and moments of fear, times of trial and contemplation...
STAND UP, Keep the Faith, Dig DEEP...
LOOK UP!

HAVE A BLAST!
I sing you peace, I pray you wonderment, I wish you and yours a Happy Fourth of July 2010!

The fire is burning brightly, its embers are HOT
Sending hope in healing on the winds to all who gather here and for all in Tampa, the families of the fallen, those in blue who are grieving are serving us.
To those who are serving this great Nation, I thank you and your families, I want you home safely.

BLESS the red, white & blue, Happy 4th to all.
We all paused yesterday to reflect and pray for the fallen officers, their families. I fly my flag every day, EVERY day......
If the rain ever stops, enjoy any plans you all might have, if not, ENJOY the plans in the rain, cause we are ALIVE and have the opportunities most do not have. I will be with family and friends today, celebrating at
PSSGETTIES Italian restaurant. 4 children mixing with adults and 2 seniors. Ah ! life is a box of chocolate, right ?
Stay FIRM and safe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA! Loved the eagle pic and Ray doing his thing with the music. Thanks doc for another great blog. I too saw the services yesterday, sad for the families, and sad for our community. Glad to have another fresh moment to celebrate all our men and women in uniform today. I once lived in a condo overlooking the Capitol and Monument in Wash DC. Fond memories of teeney, tiny 4th of July celebrations there. Awesome view. Soggy day here. Sunshine in my head. Always something here to celebrate.

Happy Birthday America. It's good to be an American today and most other days. politics not withstanding. Another teriffic blog doc. Hope everyone is enjoying this day. Feeling for the families of the slain officers in Tampa, and their communities. Glad to be apart of the "reader family" here. It too is liberating. Rain in FL. What does that do to all the outdoor events? Do Floridians brave the liquid sunshine, or do the do rain dates?
Probably rain due to that storm Alex... Sorry that there is no sunshine for ya. Wishing everyone evrywhere hearts on the mend.

Is anyone else posting a comment only to have it never show up? Has happened several times lately. Don't know if I am doing something wrong or if the universe just doesn't want to hear it.... Oh well, will keep trying. Most showup, but sometimes, well... Best 4th to all.
Wishing all hearts continued healing. Feel deeply for the Tampa community and the families of the slain officers. It is indeed a thin blue line.

The Thin Blue Line... Tampa PD and families and community you are in the hearts of many on this the birthday of AMERICA... THE HOME OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE... Those who have served, who lay at Arlington National and on the winds across this vast land of ours beginning with the FIRST AMERICANS...to those in EMS, Fire Departments, Police and others who serve the community and abroad to keep us free, to try to keep us safe. The ultimate sacrifice was made this week... And God cried as he welcomed warriors home saying your work is done, you did an outstanding job my sons.
NOW it time for us to wrap our love around those here, time to work on restoring balance and strive to HOPE and to believe that we are strong and will STAND UNITED...
Let us pray justice is just and is SWIFT...
Fire up the chair and do it now before it costs us in time, dollars and costs the familiy and the TPD stress in waiting...
Happy 4th to all.

I'm addicted to sunshine and I NEED MY FIX! Done with this rain now. It's making me have a soggy mood. Trying hard to make my own sun but it is a poor substitute. Sorry so many plans got rained out today. Happy 4th to all Americans, wet and dry.
