FRIDAY MORNING >STOMP

Saying Farewell
to
A Legend

Good morning
and
oh what a sunrise it was
as I still sit reflecting on our
beautiful
Liz Taylor
who had her final wonderful way
as
only Liz Taylor would!
SHE WAS LATE TO HER OWN FUNERAL!!!
Per her request to her children,
yes,
Liz was late to her own funeral
and
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Bravo Darling Liz
for leaving me with a
wonderful smile on my face
as
I can only imagine
you with those eyes
and
a "sly smile" as you requested that!

AND
to further show the
Grand Dame Liz Taylor
and
the brassy and classy lady
that she is
Liz was able to have her funeral
and
allow her family
PRIVACY, GRACE, HONOR
as the family entered and exited
Forest Lawn
out there in California.
><
The sick and depraved of the church
who I will not even name
did not have time to gather
and
disgrace, make mockery, to remind us that their village is indeed filled with idiots that they organize and allow out at the most sacred of times only to make total asses of themselves as they are now known to do.
And don't you just know
that absolutely
TICKLES ME TO LIFE
that Liz of course outsmarted them!!!

But then again,
Liz was brilliant, she was engaging, passionate, a lover of life and ever so talented.
I bet those video stores, Red Boxes and every other way of renting or seeing movies starring
the most loved woman in the world
was sold out and will be this week
as
we cannot get enough of
Liz and as we honor and remember her.

An angel who could be a devil with attitude has left this life and oh what a life she lived!
That's Liz
A class act indeed
and a sly woman indeed!
Folks around the world are honoring her, her children were with her as she stepped into the lights of heaven,
the made sure she made the grand entrance through the gates of Forest Lawn near her beloved
Michael Jackson and other greats
LATE
and
they now are the legacy.
People are talking about her, telling their stories and of her impact.
Out there in Colorado, at the little place where my friends are staying as they follow their dream of a new life;
known as the
Rio Concucharas Inn;
 Innkeeper Leroy and gang
were watching
"Cleopatra"
 in memory of Liz
and remembering her.
Whoopi Goldberg adored her, and had this to say of her;
Whoopi admitted she shared Taylor’s unique sense of humor:
“It was so bawdy, even I was like, ‘Really? You just said… That just came out of your mouth?’
“She was just a magnificent woman. She was a great broad and a good friend and she said things in good times and in bad. She was just great.”
[note to self: send Whoopi copy of Healing Heartaches]

Thank you Elizabeth for all that you have done;
your love and passion
that took a stand
for those
with
HIV/AIDS
back in the day when the world ran, when folks turned their backs on their children
YOU STOOD
by Rock, by regular folks, and
YOU demanded that the world open their eyes.
YOU ELIZABETH TAYLOR
stood for all
and your passion infected the world
making the world a better place for oh so many, who had been left alone
in their sadness and sorrow of this
devastating disease.
Thank you
AMFAR (American Foundation of AIDS Research)
that Elizabeth Taylor founded and made happen!
AMFAR is doing remarkable things, with the help of so many,
now your legacy.

And so my friends,
I welcome you to the week-end
I wish you all that you dare to dream
with
the passion of which
we watched
our
beloved
Elizabeth  Taylor
I send healing thoughts and prayers to her children, to those who love her the celebrities who will ache for her, and all of you who also loved and admired her.
And I just have to
leave you with a few of her finest lines:

"I sweat real sweat and I shake real shakes"

"I'm a survivor - a living example of what people can go through and survive."

"I've always admitted that I'm ruled by my passions."

"I've been through it all, baby, I'm mother courage."

"You find out who your real friends are when you're involved in a scandal."

So, there you go; and, dearest beloved Elizabeth, count me a real friend...
shine on in the lights darling.
As for the "back story?"
Some things are best in the back, best to be remembered,
to be savored, enjoyed
and
delicious
like:
white diamonds
passion
friends
life
laughter
bubbles
champagne
sunrises
sunsets
laughter
(did i mention) SUGA

p.s.
we can be sure
that the press, media, or someone
will soon be alive and well
there will be stories
there will be something soon
I can just feel it...
they will spin something
it will revolve around her millions
her
jewlery
her
something
and we will have to hear about it.
BUT
at least we will not have to hear
about the guy from 2 1/2 men anymore
so there is something to be said for that
RIGHT?
hahahaha

Be Well those who loved
Elizabeth Taylor
particularly her children!!!

Wow I loved listening to Paul Newman's tribute to her. And to think he passed away before she did. Thanks for that Sherry.

fRIDAY NIGHT AND TOO POOPED TO POP AS THEY SAY.
So glad Liz's family had some privacy for their service. Tv is a buzz with Liz stories this evening. Some people leave a memory larger than life and I believe Liz Taylor is one such person.
R&R for all this weekend. Good music, sunshine, flowers and friends. Ah life is good.
