Home is DELICIOUS

This magnificient
World
This hung suspended in
The Vancouver Conference Center
from the first floor to be seen at the top when you
look straight UP
and
I felt as though I was standing over it
most of the time!

As they came from all over this wonderful
world to gather
those remarkable
Hospice folks
and
to all of them
I say
"Thank you"
WADO

Oh
boy
am I just about as tired as tired can be
I arrived in Tampa around 1am
after sitting on the plane
waiting to take off
in Chicago for more than an
hour!
We waited
and
waited in the "airplane line"
as
the airport had been shut down secondary to storms
so we waited with all the others
for over an hour
for
"our turn"
and
by the time
we touched down
my ole' body was
"stove up"
so kissing the ground was impossible as it would not
bend!!!
With great memories, a grateful heart
a
HOSPICE HEART
and
a tired body
I just want to let ya know
HOME IS BEAUTIFUL
the warmth of the sun
and
the love of family
and
4 leggeds
can't be beat!
The warriors here
and your
energy, love and comments
fill my soul!
So for today,
it's
rest, sleep, and
re-pack
for
tomorrow
it's
HELLO TAMPA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
and
off to Ohio
for three days three cities!
To the AAHPM and HPNA
I am honored, I am hoping
you take BEST CARE
and
I thank you for the lovely emails
I returned home to.
I am
tickled to life
that you have taken the
visuals, the words
and the messages
home with you
now fired up with passion
wearing
Sissy Kelly Two Wolves
bracelets
on your arms
and
for all you do for so many.
We continue to weave the
stories of Hospice
of color, love,
compassion and light.

The fire is burning brightly, the sage is in the air,
to and for all who gather here,
I wish you ENOUGH

Looked up the weather in Ohio. Ice storm over the weekend past. Light snow 2-4 inches today. Tuesday n new snow predicted, rest of week cold as a witches tit. Dress warm doc. Be safe.
Don't these people think to have their conferences during milder times of the year? Maybe they could look at warm states in the winter and northern states spring ummer and fall. Just sayin....

Just keep walking Dr. Showalter, just keep walking... I'll flip off the boat (When the water warms) just to welcome you home, no matter how short a time frame it is...just keep walking! Like Helen Keller says "The most beautiful things in like cannot be seen, they must be felt from the heart". Eyes wide open, you help people feel the beautiful things that have been lost! Safe travels!
