From My Home to Yours This Morning

Dec 12, 2010
World-Wide Candle Lighting
7pm
Around the Globe
"Remembering The Children"
All ages, all causes,
ALL GONE TOO SOON
We will join together and together
we will
Remember those precious children
in what is known as the largest mass
candle lighting around our globe.
I will join with those in New Port Richey
here locally that evening,
and it will once again be an honor
to speak to those present
there on that sacred night of
Remembering.
for directions

So,
I ask all of you,
wherever you are,
whatever you are doing
on
December 12
in your local time zone
join with us as we light the candles
at
7:00pm
to
REMEMBER THE CHILDREN
and in doing so
we light the way
for all who have loved and lost them
All
gone to soon from this life.

Precious children,
we hold you in our hearts,
we remember
Precious children,
we are your legacies
we remember
Precious children,
We will find hope and light
where your death left us in despair and darkness
we are healing
Precious children
Let us know that you are still lighting our way
We Remember
Precious Children
WE ARE YOUR LIGHT of THE NIGHT and
our LOVE will sustain always
WE Remember
And for this,
We Give Thanks, and have hope in healing
and
So
It is!

Yesterday, in a cold and snowy Radford VA
The Radford High School BOBCATS
took the field in the
State Semi-finals
against Gate City
The final score:
Gate City 27 Bobcats 17
~ ~ ~
The Bobcats
The were in it to win it,
They are WINNERS

They gave it their all
with pride, with honor,
with heads held high.
They fought a good season
and
of course there were tears
there is heart ache
as they left the field
after shaking the hands
of their opponents.
BUT,
my beloved Godson D'Vante
#51 and team Bobcats
YOU ARE COLLECTIVELY
WINNERS, led by a coach who is
proud as is your community.
So
let that be your truth,
STAND UP
with the pride, integrity, honor
of
the BOBCAT!
As for ME?
I have never been more proud of my Godson.
He played with all he had, he had texted me at
11:20 am
he had told me he was
"playin this one for me and that he loved me"
and he played as the fearless athelete
that he is, with focus, determination, honor.
Yes, he was bent at the end,
but
NEVER will he be broken.
Sad were he and his team yes,
BUT
he is a Warrior
of
strength, honor, faith, PRIDE of the BOBCAT
my boy played his heart out on that field
along with the others.
I have never been more proud.
Now they need to rest, restore, renew.
Seniors, celebrate your year, prepare for graduation
and
New Beginings!
I thank you for an exciting Bobcat year!
Great JOB coach, take care of your boys
and
those who are not graduating this year,
practice starts on MONDAY!
Let's go Bobcats!
Have a joyous December.

The fire is burning brightly, its embers are hot... the air is filling with sage and cedar ~ ~ ~ with hope in healing along the journey.

The Sunday list of names seems to have grown.
I continue to feel honored on that list.
One day, I wish to witness Dr. SES actually compose a daily blog. Keeps it interesting, how the color changes, the links placed, the wonderful pictures added at just the right place, the MUSIC, blog appropriate,
updates on the 4-leggeds, running NASCAR 'round the pool. Spanish moss, sunlight, cool / hot temps, coffee status, Godson, mom, ankles, fingers, knees, football.
Am I forgetting anything ?
Are you tired of reading my words, yet !?!?!?
Have fun, stay safe, enjoy Sunday. See you at Tiffany's............. eating Ice Cream

Special words of encouragement to those Bobcats! Just to get to the Semi-Finals shows what a great team you guys are. Someone had to win, and somene has to be in the tough losing role. How you guys even stayed on your feet in the snow amazes me. Be proud of all you have accomplished, and I am so proud that you are already looking forward to next season. That is a Winning Attitude! It is no small accomplishment to get on a varsity team, lots of competition. Be proud, enjoy these special high school days. They are te best. Lifetime memories are made. Now get out there and start planning for another winning season next fall.

Love the pic of God-son with a little snow on his nose! They are one heckuva team to play in such conditions. Most adults wouldve been done by the 1st qtr.Brrrrr.I know you are proud, you can feel it here. :)
Please remember a young woman named Jennifer, whose beloved 25 yr old husband was killed in an auto accident. He was a proud marine who had bravely served his country. They had lost a baby girl last Sept ,when she was only 3 wks old. On the 12th ,I will light a candle to honor this child and her devoted momma and daddy. This young woman feels as if life is over with these 2 tragedies. Ive delved back into your book and "Healing Heartaches" proves to be the help I needed in sending words of comfort. Thank you (Wado), Dr Sherry, for being you and giving us this wonderful tool!!

Brrrr, the Bobcats won in the hearts of every family who was there and stayed during that blizzard. It was a cold wet rain and needless to say we all came home frozen. Our gloves was froze to our hands. We did not even dream of leaving those brave, hard driving young men out there without our cheers of Bobcats, Bobcats. The cheerleaders and the band played on and on. We have a great bunch of followers for our Cats. We know their heart ache and we know their loss, but they will always be winners in all of our hearts. They all played a wonderful game. The field was full of snow and all of the boys were sliding and falling hard. That was on both teams. We are so proud of what they have done and where they will be going next year. Way to go Bobcats. The candle will be lit and prayers will be going out to all. Good luck and God Bless.

Hi everyone, it is a shame that the Bobcats lost, but they can walk with pride-they didn't give up and played their best. Congrats to them!
Beautiful day today-getting ready for all the craziness-keeping it real. Will be burning a candle on the 12th for all the lost children of the world.(the parents too). May they feel peace in their hearts. See ya Monday night!
