It's Chistmas Eve~

We
are ready

Good morning Christmas Eve
The Dolphins and me
are about as excited as we can be.

Sittin out here with coffee and the quite of the morning, as the family are sleepin away,
coffee is great, morning is still
as Santa is in
Fiji now
on this most remarkable
morning.

The cold chill has returned to
sunny Florida
guess that is how it is to be
this year for Christmas~
Seems the cold weather is taking many around the world, many with snow covered grounds
are talking of making angels in the snow
and snowmen/women
out there across the country!
Nope don't miss that part at all,
but do enjoy seeing white Christmas
from the pictures and stories of many though
and the tales on Lily The Black Bears
page on that Facebook
where the days to a live den
are nearing as those great North American Black
Bears are sleeping soundly.
All that is but one big Black Bear
named
HONEY
who tends to like to entertain folks via
a live cam at the pond.
I've come to decide that Honey
is making a solid plea for Santa and all who will listen
to send and decorate a tree there
for (the birds)
so that good ole' Honey
can "raid it like a bandit"
for the holidays at will thinking it is
Christmas stocking ala Honey style~
for the latest there.

Little Hawk (Kamryn) here is hatching a plan he thinks... that once we are sleeping tonight, he will just sneak to the couch for a glimpse of the
"real Santa" without our knowing!
Funny little guy he is, might just have to lock him in
a closet by the time it is bedtime around here,
or have his big brother D'Vante duct tape him in
bed
once he is sleeping
for safe keeping!

And
our little ones tolerate
humans
run and bark
and
celebrate each day!

\
Did I mention
Jeepers tolerates much more
than the above little Gypsy!

Yes, it's the most wonderful time of the year...
the spirit of giving, of being, of
tenderness and kindness and compassion is felt all over the world.
If only we could hold this feeling each and every day
well
actually
WE CAN

A time for family to gather, friends to gather, people to see places to go, either face to face, or skype, or phone, or by thoughts...
But oh how I laugh, when I think of this quote...

~ ~ ~ "Santa Claus has the right idea. Visit people once a year." Victor Borge

Gotta admit,
you can never ever laugh enough
especially during the holidays.
No matter what anyone says.

REjoice,
It's Christmas!

Godson D'Vante gave the family our gift last night.
It was a "first".
My Godson,
"drove" us out to dinner, his gift to the family
and
"we had a great time"
ON HIS DIME
his gift to us!
and
that Kamryn (9)
ordered?
Surf and Turf!!! (that's my boy)
Thought big brother would fall out of his chair!
BUT
what did my #1 Godson do?
He cracked those Alaskan Crab Legs for little brother
with patience, love and I had
tears behind my eyes with such pride.
Yes,
he drove
the Godmothers' hot vehicle
after all,
he was taking us out, might as well
chauffeur us was my thinking!
Wow,
what a Christmas we have in the making this year!

I hope
you are starting this
Christmas Eve
with joy in your heart
memories that are spilling forward that soothe you
that provide you with all you need
to give you the strength
to embrace this Christmas
with love, laughter, light.
STOMP
into this day
with an attitude of great gratitude
for all that
has ever been
all that is
and
your ability
to
choose
HOW
you live this day.

The fire is burning brightly,
the sage is filling the air
with thoughts on the wind for you and yours
on this
Christmas Eve
with blessings,
DRSES
