THURSDAY THOUGHTS ~ THE SUN IS SHINING SOMEWHERE

Oh For the Beauty

Morning ... the light is finding its way to us earlier, have you noticed? The brightness... what a wonderful welcome after the winter of 2010~

C'mon light, welcome energy to all . . . the seedlings are finding their way through the earth and into the light as well.  Color is beginning to show itself once again . . . I for one am embracing the color; the light and the wonderment ! Say "YES" to this wonderful day . . .

But also acknowledge that it is a day of profound sadness and new grief for so many . . .
Tammy Stansell died last night . . . leaving her beloved husband and children and many many many friends who will miss her ~ She was and will always be a WARRIOR and an inspiration.
"We will always love and admire you Tammy, you will soar on the wings of the Eagle"

We are all connected . . . our pain, our struggles, our celebrations, joys ~ our very survival and thriving healing ways!

Our brother the Eagle soars; just because he can; just as the horses love to run wild; feeling the wind against their faces and the freedom of the wild through their mane ~

With the sun warming us, the wind caressing us and often drying our tears and blowing through our hair we will face our day, our nights and our lives with or without fear . . . it becomes our choice.
Whether we think we can or can't ~ we are right.

The trees are reaching for the light and we as the tw0-leggeds continue to reach for understanding along our journey. Our understanding and quests may be that of looking within; seeing our strengths, becoming one with our strengths and inner powers and accomplishments as we make them our way of being, our constant companions along the way.

Speaking of trees; speaking of stretching toward the light... ARE YOU READY?  STAND UP~

STAND UP STRAIGHT, DO IT N O W

REACH FOR THE SKY, FOR THE LIGHT, FEEL IT FROM YOUR TOES AND S T R E T C HHHHH UP

b r E A T h e  IN through your nose 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 - - -

E X X H A L L E allll thhheee wayyy out t t ` ` ` ` ~~ ~

GREAT~ Do it again,

I'll wait <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Didn't that feel great, bet you even grew!  Did you lean /////\\\\\\ //////// \\\\\\\\\\  good job!!!!

You can even call me DYS while you do that if you like!!!

When you are finished, raise your hands up over your head and shout out to the sky, "YES"~~~ Feel the power within YOU ~

Through tears of heartache, through times of joy; it is good to remember to move; to stretch, to remind yourself of the horse that runs in the wild! Try to visualize that feeling of the wind in your mane/your hair, the feeling of freedom, of unbridled passion ~
If you are filled with grief, allow yourself to feel it; cry; really cry, don't hold back ~ cry from your inner most being, unrestrained tears. Move those tears out, from deep within, purge them from inside... they will do you no good sitting there deep inside of you. Cry from your heart; it is a form of prayer, your prayers will be heard by your angels, by your Creator. Trust that you will be OK ~

If you are laughing, laugh until you can't breath like little Kamryn, bend at the waist, place your hands on your knees and draw a deep breath so that you can laugh some more ~ You will feel it in your body, you will feel it in your face ~ YOU WILL FEEL...

By remembering these feelings and sensations you will find your way back to them easier, you will be able to shift to them in a "snap" of the fingers, in a heart-beat...  Create the YOU that you desire!

By remembering the times that have been good in our lives we can return there, we can make those times even better if we choose to. Reacquaint ourselves with those feelings and learn to beckon them into our lives without those who we have loved and lost to circumstances or to death. We can send a voice to those who have died, we can ask them for strength, for hope, for messages, and to continue the conversations differently now... We can soar like the Eagle, run like the wild ponies . . . We can be filled with gratitude that we had them in our lives at all however briefly and thank them for the many gifts we have received and continue to receive because of being loved or having known them ~ We are blessed.

"Rituals build community keep us connected to all that is around us. They create a meeting ground where people can share, a place to sing, to scream, howl ecstatically; run wild with the wind in our faces or furiously play or keep a solemn silence" {Starhawk}  I tend to agree with Starhawk on the power of Ritual here!

Take best care of YOU today; know that you are your best resource. For those who have heavy hearts; know that you are never alone; there are resources out there for YOU... Trained clinicians to help, to facilitate your journey through grief, trauma, loss and transitions.

<><><><><><><>
To the Family, Friends of Tammy Stansell: you are in my thoughts and prayers, I sing you hope in healing and remind you of the support and love in community whose arms are around you all.
To those of Tarpon Springs High School Alums:
My heart aches for you in the loss of Tammy ~
To those whose hearts are heavy in grief ~ may you find comfort in knowing that you have loved and been loved, death does not change that, nor take that away. Hearts that are joined in life cannot be separated by death; death is not that strong.

The flowers are brilliant, the spring holds promise of new beginnings, of today being a great day ~
The fire is being kept burning for those who are fighting the fight today ~

Sending love on the winds to Wilma Mankiller the first woman Chief of the Cherokee People and praying her a beautiful journey when the Ancestors and Creator call her to spiritland.

To all our Relations, Wado~

Prayers to all who knew Tammy

My prayers are with all who knew Tammy--she is indeed just a breath away-you heart may not feel it right now, but you will. She slipped the bonds of earth on the wings of all who loved her. And now she is in the arms of angels. What a beautiful woman.

While we are grieving many souls...I thought I would share a little story that had many hysterical!
WHY did it take me 8 hours to put the ink cartridge in my printer, including hours of troubleshooting with the kind folks at HP?
Answer will appear at the end of this post.

Thanks to Sherry, I learned I was not too old to learn how to use a lap-top, a digital camera, a cell phone, a GPS, and even create a Facebook group page. I was really hoping for a group page featuring an online book club for Healing Heartaches, but I guess I was the only person who expressed such an interest. Thought I would learn to use a printer next. ONE LAST CHANCE TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT TOOK ME 8 HOURS WITH TROUBLESHOOTING....THE ANSWER WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH....better have an empty bladder for this one!

See....I asked for help, but not once did anyone ever mention there is some sticky tape on the ink cartridge that needs to be removed!

It's okay to laugh at me...even I am laughing at myself.

Whats up with Dr. SES blog today, did COB keep her up late, stretching, dancing and saying YES, listening to loud music? You gotta watch and listen what that Dr. SES does and what COB does when she is visiting. Again, Chris, Tammys family and all of us who are suffering in our life. Lets all help each other, with kindness, love and laughter, memories are so precious. Life is for the living even tho we cant think of that when the time is here and time is near. Blessings.

KNow how we are asked to spread the word of Healing Heartaches & the blog.
Has anyone had any negative feedback.
I will not use the negative words that were said to me, but they mainly meant the book/blog was very controversial.
I say all books are pretty controversial cause you are just reading one person's thoughts.
just wondering if everybody you shared it with was okayu with it

Has anybody had any negative feedback sharing this book with anyone?

Anonymous said...

I have only heard great responses to the book.
Everybody has an opinion and is entitled to theirs whether good or bad. It's just an opinion. I can't imagine why anyone would think
the book or the blog is controversial. What does that even mean?

chris said...

There are always some people who are negative in the world just &, don't 'get it'. I try very hard not to pay attention to those people. However if they have some real constructive suggestions I might, but so far, that has not happened. The sad thing is is eventually they will all have to 'walk the walk' and then finally understand it. I feel sorry for them, they have so much to learn.

Chris,
Many prayers go out to you daily.

I guess one of the worst things people have said is that the blog is so very unprofessional. I think that is what makes it readable to all. People with sensory integration problems, say the blog is impossible to read with all the changing colors. I figure take what you like and just leave the rest. I like being able to pray for all who read this blog and I think it is great that you are handing out bookmarks. Will continue to keep you in my prayers. Blessings

Sherry,

Thank you for mentioning Tammy...I am a Tarpon High Alumni and graduated from High School with her...Class of 1975...

Now..perhaps I have missed one or two blogs from the VERY beginning ....
Am I the only one missing what is controversial? I am lost here...I don't get it...The blogs controversial...really? Is someone here from a different planet??
The book controversial?? Well...well...maybe if you are a athesit...
Sherry...keep up the blogs and the good work!!
I appreciate YOU!
